കഴിഞ്ഞ ഞായറാഴ്ച. ടിറ്റി മോള്ക്കും ടുട്ടു മോനും നിര്ബന്ധം. ഞാനും ഇത്തമ്മയും മംഗ്ലീഷ് കുര്ബാന ഒന്നു കാണണമെന്ന്. മുഴുവന് കണ്ടിരിക്കാനുള്ള സഹനശക്തിയുണ്ടാകില്ല എന്നറിയാം. എങ്കിലും നിര്ബന്ധത്തിനു വഴങ്ങി മംഗ്ലീഷ് ന്റെ അവസാന ഭാഗം കണ്ടിട്ട് 11 ന്റെ മലയാളം കുര്ബാനയും കൂടി പോരാമെന്നു compramise ആയി.
നമ്മുടെ യൂത്ത് കളൊക്കെ എവിടെ പോയി ഒളിച്ചിരുന്നു എന്നറിയില്ല. പള്ളി നിശ്ശേഷം കാലിയായിരുന്നു. അവിടെയും ഇവിടെയും ഓരോ യൂത്ത് കള് ദിവാ സ്വപ്നവും കണ്ടു കൊണ്ടിരിപ്പുണ്ട്. സര്ക്കസ്സിലെ റിംഗ് മാസ്റ്ററെ പ്പോലെ ആന്റണി യച്ചന് പിറകില് കയ്യും കെട്ടി മുമ്പില് തന്നെ നില്പ്പുണ്ട്. "വായില് തോന്നിയത് കോതക്ക് പാട്ട്" എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ പോലെ ജോണ്സ്റ്റീ അച്ഛന് വെറുതെ ഓലിയിട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിപ്പുണ്ട്. ഏത് ഭാഷയിലാണ് അങ്ങോരു പാടുന്നതെന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കാന് തന്നെ നന്നേ പ്രയാസം. എന്തൊരു ridiculous കാഴ്ച. കുര്ബാന ഒരു ബലിയാനെന്നരിയാം. എന്ന് കരുതി ഇങ്ങനെ കര്ത്താവിനെ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും പീഡിപ്പിക്കേണ്ട കാര്യമുണ്ടോ?
ഞങ്ങള് നമ്മുടെ സഭാധികാരികളോട് ചോദിക്കുകയാണ്. ഇങ്ങനെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളുടെ തൊണ്ടയില് ക്കൂടി ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് കുത്തിയിറക്കി, സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ മേല് അത് അടി ച്ചെല്പ്പിക്കാനാണ് നിങ്ങളുടെ പദ്ധതി എങ്കില് അതെന്തിന് പുറം വാതിലില് ക്കൂടി ചെയ്യണം. മാന്യമായി ചെയ്തു കൂടെ. നല്ല ഒരു സായിപ്പ് അച്ഛനെ ഹയര് ചെയ്യുക. ഒരു organist നെയും. സത്യമായും കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങള്ക്ക് അത് വളരെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടും. സാധാരണ ഇടവകക്കാരും ധാരാളം കൂടും. ഒരു മണിക്കൂറിനകം സര്വതും കഴിഞ്ഞു വീട് പറ്റാം. രണ്ടു മണിക്കൂര് പള്ളിയില് കുത്തിയിരുന്നു പാഴാക്കാതെ. മനുഷ്യന് ദൈവാനുഗ്രഹവും കൂടുതല് കിട്ടും. കാക്ക കുളിച്ചാല് കൊക്കാകുമോ? ജോണ് സ്റ്റി എത്ര പയറ്റിയാലും സായിപ്പാകില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ട് അദ്ദേഹത്തിനെ വന്ന വഴിക്ക് വിടുക.
ബിഷപ്പ് കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്നറിയില്ല. പച്ച മലയാളത്തില് ഒരു ചൊല്ലുണ്ട്: തീട്ടം തിന്നേണ്ട ഗതികേട് വന്നാലും അത് അര്ശ്ശസ് പിടിച്ചവന്റെ വേണമെന്നുണ്ടോ.

I think fr. Antony should resign and leave. His mistakes are many. If our new church project was a govt. project everyone behind it would go to jail for mismanagement and squandering public funds.
I suggest our vicar get the feedback from our youth. Based on the youth attendance from the English mass, the church authorities should get the message.
What I hear is that kids understands and pays attention when Fr. George Madathiparambil and Roy Kaduppil celebrate the mass.
Whose idea is this English Mass anyway? Fr Antony and other authorities should understand that Malayalam culture and Syro-Malabar traditions cannot be imparted to the young generation through English medium. How are children attracted to our traditions, when the bishop is trying to pull the church to medieval times? The church should modernize and adapt itself to make it relevant to the youth.

The bishop angadiath and his some felon priest are the real criminals. There is a satanic look in bishop’s attitude. He is very conscious about his wrong doings and cheating nature. He cheated the Catholic Church and the believers in this foreign land and living with the cost of poor malayalies and through the mercy of Latin Church. He is a` real fraud with out any grace. He thinks that the circus tent and the purple circular sheela are holy.
Let us pray for him, so that he can clearly understand the scriptures and leads the believers in right spiritual directions. He is simply a frog in well without any vision and spiritual insight.
Shameless Fr. Antony and Kaduppan and addressless Thottuvelil are the real cheaters of Syro Malabar Community in USA.
Simple truth: Our church authorities are simply blood sucking leeches. They live off of the hard working people of this country. They never do an honest day's work in their life. God, the things that they do in the name of Jesus!
What the hell is Panthalany doing here? If all the priests are coming to the US with every silly excuses, who is going to mind the store in Kerala?

I wanted to talk about the real english mass in our church. Then u wrote it in the voice. That is exactly what I am asking . Why cant our kids have the real english mass. Just like any other american catholic church? All our kids probably know the mass and songs by heart. All they need is a good american american priest, and a pianoist. Kids will sing beautifully. If these so called priests are our kids well wishers they will do it. And no doubt majority of our parents stay with their kids too. Why u people(whoever)destroying our kids peace of mind and will power like this?

You have no solutions, just criticism. You're like a small child - all you do is complain but when the parent asks for an explanation, we get a blank
This is really depressing that an adult - yes your an adult - take his time everyday to destroy a parish which has worked hard for the past 15 years. For the past 15 years, we had hard working parishioners. But you are not a part of that, your the opposite. You are a failure in this parish and you know it - thats why this blog is up.
You can't get a parish council seat! You can't! You don't have respect, you don't have support. You have 20 years old in the parish council - they have seats but you don't! You're maybe 40 years old and you sit at home and you blog and YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING!
Thats why you have this blog - you failed at the parish level and that why you want to bring down the Holy Cathedral. But you can't be a parishioner, you can't put hard work and sacrifice behind it.
Personally, thats very embarrassing old man.
My dear owners of syro malabar voice.I really appreciate what you are doing. A lot of this kind of things sre done by the Fr.Mutholath of KNANAYA CHURCH.It is time for him to leave chicago. Plz do something. Tell angadi to give him a farewell.
