People have spoken. And the vicar doesn't like it.
Fr Antony very cunningly tried to compel the children to attend only English mass by shamelessly manipulating the Mass schedule. It did not work. By popular demand he had to redo the Mass schedules and CCD to accommodate the parents and children to attend the Mass of their choice.
The result has been utterly disappointing to the vicar. The majority of the parents opted for CCD for their children during the English Mass, so they could attend Malayalam Mass together. Last Sunday the English Mass attendance was really disappointing.This reality was too big for the vicar to swallow.
This made him go crazy. This blew his lid off. This made him mad. This made his little face turn red. This made his hair stand. This made his teeth grind. And this made him tremble. And his mouth went dry.
Then last Sunday he went ballistic! The little big emperor was furious! He was twitching with rage it was thought he would faint.
The vicar has a revelation from God. If your children goes astray it is your fault. It is going to be parents' fault. Because you did not compel the children to attend English Mass.
"You are doing a great injustice to your children," he thundered, by not allowing them to attend English Mass. Let us say this is the great Thundathil Doctrine!
Fr. Antony, our vicar is insulting the maturity, intelligence and the parental responsibility of every single parent of this parish by his spurious accusations. He is trying to scare the parents to give the control of their children to them. He is trying to instill guilt in the minds and hearts of parents, so that they can manipulate the minds of children to their advantage. He is driving a wedge between the parents and their children. He is most sinisterly dividing our families by turning our own children against us. He is pulling the rug of parental authority from under our feet.
A priest has a duty and responsibility. So does a parent. Parenting is not the duty of priests. Ministering is. Hence, they are called "ministers". God has not given Fr. Antony any mandate to second guess parents about the upbringing of their off-springs. This is sufficient reason for Fr. Antony to keep his snotty nose out of parents' business.
Fr. Antony has to realize the people of this parish are not some kind of low cast "pulayas". And treat them accordingly. With respect. Do not underestimate the hardworking members of this parish. Per ca pita we are the most educated and richest Syro-Malabar parish in the world. He cannot treat us like know-nothing idiots, which is exactly what he is doing.
Last but least, our people have to wake up. Do not surrender your God-given parental rights to selfish carpetbaggers. Stand up. Assert your rights.
When it comes to your children, you as parents, know best! Your children are too precious to be entrusted to any one else, even well-meaning priests.

There is only one man in this world can lead us to our heaven. He is the man, the youthful, charismatic, youth lover. He is going to make following important announcements in coming Sundays. We don’t care if you like it or not.
1) You are doing a great injustice to your children if you parents feed your children with Chorum, Karrium. Give them only American food : pizza, burger, pasta etc. only.
2) You are doing a great injustice to your children, if you parents force your children to wear Churidar or Saree. Encourage them to wear something that allows them to show their assets like the sexy Americans.
3) You are doing a great injustice to your children, if you don’t allow your kids to go out with someone. I will make our parish hall to a dance floor. (There will be a collection for this and you stupid parents better pay for it.) Kids can have all kinds of fun and enjoy whatever they want from here.
4) If you bought a house with your hard earned money, give it to your kids and you go some were else. Let the kids have a life in their own way.
