ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്യുന്നവരുടെ മൃദദേഹം പള്ളിയകത്ത് പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കാന് പാടില്ല
സഭാ വിശ്വാസികള്ക്ക് ഇടര്ച്ചയുണ്ടാക്കും വിധം ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്യുന്നവരുടെ മൃദദേഹം പള്ളിയകത്ത് പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കാന് പാടില്ലെന്ന് സീറോ മലബാര് സഭാ നിര്ദ്ദേശം. ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 17 മുതല് 28 വരെ നടന്ന സീറോ മലബാര് സഭാ സിനഡിന്റെ അംഗീകാരത്തോടെ മേജര് ആര്ച്ച് ബിഷപ്പ് മാര് വര്ക്കി വിതയത്തിലാണ് ഇത് സംബന്ധിച്ചുളള ഉത്തരവ് പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചത്.

Chicago Priest Dies Of Self Inflicted Wounds
A Southwest Side priest who became well-known in Chicago’s Polish community over the years died Thursday of self-inflicted injuries.
Fr. Waclaw Jamroz, who was born in Poland and has been a pastor of Our Lady of the Snows Parish since 2004, passed away Thursday night in the parish rectory, according to a release from the Archdiocese of Chicago. Jamroz died of self-inflicted wounds.
Jamroz, 44, started a Spanish-speaking ministry in the parish after only two years on the job.
In the nineties, Jamroz became involved in radio and television programs aimed at the Polish-speaking community, the release said. Much of his work focused on the Blessed Mother and the rosary.
Our Lady of the Snows will hold visitation for Fr. Jamroz October 13, from 5 to 9 p.m. at 4810 South Leamingon Ave. A funeral Mass with Francis Cardinal George will be held October 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the church.

ചത്തവരോട് അനുകമ്പയില്ല. പോകട്ടെ. ബാക്കി ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ബന്ധുമിത്രാദികള്ക്ക് കുറ്റബോധം, നാണക്കേട്, കാലാകാലത്തോളം ചീത്തപ്പേര്. ഇതു മാത്രമെ നമ്മുടെ സഭാ അധികൃതര്ക്ക് വേണ്ടൂ. അങ്ങനെ വേണം ജനങ്ങളെ അടക്കി ഭരിക്കുവാന് .
നമ്മുടെ വിവരം കേട്ട സഭാധികാരികള് ചിക്കാഗോയില് ഈയിടെ ഉണ്ടായ മുകളില് വിവരിച്ച സംഭവവും അധികാരികള് സ്വീകരിച്ച മഹാ മനസ്കതതയും അനുഭവപാറമായിയെടുക്കെണ്ടാതാണ് എന്നാണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ അഭിപ്രായം.
ഏതായാലും ഈ മേല്പ്പറഞ്ഞ വിളമ്പരം ചിക്കാഗോയില് അധികാരികള് പ്രാവര്ത്തികമാക്കില്ലയെന്നു വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. അതിനുള്ള ബുദ്ധിമോശം അവര് കാണിച്ചാല് ഒരു പക്ഷെ കത്തീദ്രല് പള്ളി കുരിശുപള്ളിയാക്കി മാറ്റേണ്ട ഗതികേട് വരും - കത്തീദ്രല് ലേലത്തില് വില്ക്കെണ്ടിവരും. സ്യൂ ചെയ്യുന്നവര്ക്ക് കൊടുക്കാന് പണം വേണ്ടെ?

Its shame on the Church leaders.
I whish they realize the fact that its another punishment for the family and relatives.
First punishment if the beloved ones death.
Second punishment is the muniliation in the community due to death of the beloved one.
Now, the third is they are not able to burry the beloved one with all the respect and blessings.
We being a christian should forgive every one, even killers of innocent sisters and and still attend the Mass by the believed to be killers, can not give the final respect to the family of the dead person?
It used to be in Kerala that all dead bodies are taken to the church then funeral Mass after that funeral at the cemetary.
Now the funeral Mass part is elimated by the leaders.
I hear that taking the body to the church may be totally elimated in the near future. Body will be taken to the cemetary then burry there. I hope they will not do this.
The fact it funeral Mass and the respect given is a big time relief to the family. If they church cares about their members they should give respect to the dead ones... and their family.
One final thought of Sister Abhaya, they should show all the respect including a funeral Mass by cardial and bishops then appolozige to Sister Abhaya's family for wrongly accusing her of mental sickness and suicide.
May be we will see a future saint Sister Abhaya for her suffering and premature death.
