എന്നാല് പല ഗ്രേഡ് കളിലുള്ള ആത്മഹത്യ കളുണ്ടെന്നു നമ്മുടെ ബിഷപ്പുമാരുടെ കഴിഞ്ഞ സിനഡ് കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോഴാണ് മനസ്സിലായത്!
എസ്, അറിഞ്ഞില്ലെങ്കില് അറിഞ്ഞോ. ആത്മഹത്യകള്ക്ക് പല ഗ്രേഡ് കള് ഉണ്ട്. അത് സിനഡില് നമ്മുടെ ബിഷപ്പുമാര് ഉറപ്പിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞു. സംശയമുണ്ടെങ്കില് താഴെ ഉദ്ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഭാഗങ്ങള് വായിക്കുക. (താഴെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ commentary യും കൊടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്,. ദയവായി ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു വായിക്കുക. ബിഷപ്പുമാരുടെ വിഡ്ഢി ത്ത്വവുമായി confuse ചെയ്യരുതേ).
The Synod of the Syro- Malabar Church, which had met from August 17 to 28, granted no concession to suicide victims for their burial. In a circular explaining the decisions of the Synod issued by the Major Archbishop, read out in churches in Thrissur Archdiocese during the mass on October 11, the head of the Syro-Malabar Church indicated that there would be no compromise on the stand of the Church with regard to the burial of those committed suicide.
അതെന്താണ് തൃശ്ശൂര് അതിരൂപതയില് മാത്രം? അവിടെ മാത്രമാണോ ആത്മഹത്യയുള്ളൂ? അതോ അവിടെ മാത്രമാണോ ഗ്രേഡ് തിരിച്ചുള്ള ആത്മഹത്യയുള്ളൂ?
The circular has stated that some one who commited a simple suicide will get a simple form of burial, which is ‘a burial with no homily, no holy mass, no use of mike, using only two ornamental umbrellas (Muthukudas), one cross and one priest for the burial.
സിമ്പിള് സൂയിസൈഡ്. മുകളില് പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നത് കാര്യം വളരെ സീരിയസ് ആണ്. സിമ്പിള് സൂയിസൈഡ്. കൃത്യം ചെയ്യുവാന് കച്ച കെട്ടി ഇറങ്ങുന്നവന് ആദ്യമേ ഗ്രേഡ് തീരുമാനിക്കണം. കാരണം കര്മ്മങ്ങള് അതനുസരിചിരിക്കും. ഉറക്ക ഗുളികയാണ് ഏറ്റവും സിമ്പിള്. അല്ലെങ്കില് മദ്യത്തില് വിഷം ചേര്ക്കുക. എന്തായാലും ആരും അറിയരുത്. രഹസ്യമായിരിക്കണം. തൂങ്ങിച്ചത്തും, വണ്ടിക്കു തലവച്ചും, കുടുംബം ഒന്നടങ്കം ജീവനോടുക്കിയും ചീത്തപ്പെരുണ്ടാക്കിയാല് സംഗതി കുഴ്യയും. വലിയ ഒച്ചപ്പാടോന്നു മുണ്ടാക്കാതെ മര്യാദയ്ക്ക് ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്താല് മുകളില് പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങള് ഒക്കെ കിട്ടും. 1. പ്രസംഗമുണ്ടാവില്ല.(സാരമില്ല. ഉറക്കം തൂങ്ങുമെന്നു ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ.) 2. കുര്ബാനയുണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതല്ല. (ഒന്ന് രണ്ടു മണിക്കൂര് വെറുതെ പള്ളിയുടെ ഉത്തരത്തേല് കണ്ണും നട്ടിരുന്നു ചീയെണ്ടല്ലോ). 3. നോ മൈക്ക്. (ദൈവത്തിനു നന്ദി. നാടുകാര്ക്ക് കിടന്നുറങ്ങാം.) 4. മുത്തുക്കുട രണ്ടു മാത്രം. 5. ഒരു കുരിശു. 6. ഒരു പുരോഹിതന് . (അതും ഒന്നാംതരമോന്നും കിട്ടില്ല. ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു കാട്ടുകള്ളന് !) ഇതില് മുട്ടുക്കുടയും കുരിശും എണ്ണം കുറഞ്ഞത്തില് അല്പ്പം പോരായ്മയുണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ അടുത്ത ഗ്രേഡ് കാരുടെ ഗതികേട് കാണുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങള് നരകത്തില് നിന്ന് സന്തോഷം കൊണ്ട് തുള്ളിച്ചാടും. )
".....However, in scandalous cases of suicide not even the simple burial may be given. In such cases, the body will not be allowed to be taken inside the church. The priest may bless the grave in which the body of a person committed scandalous suicide sometime outside the funeral service."
ആഘോഷമായ ആത്മഹത്യ. (ദിവ്യബലി) കുര്ബാനയാണെങ്കില് solemn എന്ന് പറയും. ആത്മഹത്യ (സ്വയംബലി ) യാണെങ്കില് scandelous എന്ന് പറയും. രണ്ടും ഏതാണ്ട് ഒന്ന് തന്നെ. ഈ ഗ്രേഡ് കാര്ക്ക് ഒന്നും കിട്ടില്ല. ആരും കാണാതെ അച്ഛന് പോയി കുഴിയില് അല്പം വെള്ളം തെളിക്കും. അത്ര തന്നെ. എന്താണ് ഈ scandalous ആത്മഹത്യ? ഈ അടുത്ത കാലത്ത് നടന്നതില് പ്രമാദമായത് സിസ്റ്റര് അഭയയുടെ തന്നെ. രണ്ടച്ചന്മാരും ഒരു കാന്യാസ്ത്രീയും കൂടി മൂന്നു പേരുമോരുമിച്ചു കൊച്ചു വെളുപ്പാങ്കാലം പരസ്പരം വിജില് നടത്തി പ്രാര്ത്തിച്ചു പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നപ്പോലല്ലേ അഭയ ആ കടും കൈ ചെയ്തത്! ആദ്യം അവള് കോടാലി കൈ എടുത്ത് സ്വന്തം കഴുത്തിനു പിറകില് പന്നിയെ കശാപ്പ് ചെയ്യുന്ന പോലെ മൃഗീയമായി അടിച്ചു. പിന്നെ അടുക്കളയില് കിടന്ന ചെമ്പു പാത്രമെടുത്തു ചപ്ര-ചിപ്രം അടിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ ജീവന് മിക്കവാറും പോകാറായപ്പോള് എങ്ങി വലിഞ്ഞു ചെന്ന് കിണറിലും ചാടി. എന്തൊരു നാണക്കേട്. what A scandal ! ഇന്നത്തെക്കാലമായിരുന്നെങ്കില് അഭയയെ സിമിത്തേരിയില് കുഴിച്ചിടുക പോലുമില്ലായിരുന്നു. പാവം കോട്ടൂര്! പാവം പൂത്രിക്ക! പാവം സെഫി! അവര്ക്ക് ആ രാത്രി ശരിക്കൊന്നു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കാന് കൂടി പറ്റിയില്ല!

പ്രൈസ് ദ ലോര്ഡ്! ഈ ഗ്രേഡ് പെട്ടവര് എങ്ങിനെ ജീവിച്ചവരായാലും നേരെ സ്വര്ഗത്തിലെക്കായിരിക്കും പോകുക. എക്സ്പ്രസ്സ് ആയി തന്നെ. "accompanied by all ദ paraphernalia " എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാല് ക്കാര്യം ചില്ലറയൊന്നുമല്ല. അകമ്പടിയായി പത്തുനൂറു മുത്തുക്കുട. രണ്ടു ഡസന് പൊന് കുരിശ്. (സ്ത്രീകള്ക്ക്) മുട്ടിയിട്ടു നടക്കാന് വയ്യാത്ത വിധം അച്ചന്മാര്. ചില്ലറ മുടക്കാന് കഴിവുണ്ടെങ്കില് ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ ബിഷപ്പുമാരും. കന്യാസ്ത്രീമാരുടെ മേളം. എണ്ണിപ്പെറുക്കിപ്പറഞ്ഞു ഉച്ചത്തില് കരയാന് ബന്ധുമിത്രാധികള്. എല്ലാ വാര്ഡില് നിന്നും നേതാക്കന്മാര്. രാത്രി മുഴുക്കെ ഉച്ചഭാഷിണി. ബൊക്കെകള്, സിനിമാ പാട്ട് വായിക്കുന്ന ബാന്ഡ് സെറ്റ് രണ്ടു-മൂന്ന്.
ഇത്ര ആഘോഷമായി കുഴിയില് വച്ചിട്ട് നേരെ സ്വര്ഗത്തില് പോയില്ലെങ്കില് പിന്നെ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നിട്ട് എന്ത് കാര്യം!
....Archdiocesan sources here said that the procedures for the burial of bodies of suicide stated in the circular are not new.They are the procedures being followed by the Church for the past many years with regard to the burial of the bodies of such persons.However, the Synod included the subject in the circular in order to make the position clear to priests. The sources pointed out that a reaffirmation of the stand of the Church was considered necessary by the Synod fathers in order to ensure priests performing funerals clearly distinguished between a suicide and a scandalous suicide for the purpose of conducting the funeral rites.
ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് എളിയ ഒരഭിപ്രായമുണ്ട്. പണ്ട് തലയ്ക്കു വട്ടു പിടിച്ചവരെ 'കുതിരവട്ട' ത്തിനു കൊണ്ട് പോകുക അല്ലെങ്കില് 'കാക്കനാട്ട്' കൊണ്ടുപോകുക എന്ന് പറയുമായിരുന്നു. കാരണം അന്ന് ഈ രണ്ടിടത്തും മാത്രമേ ഭാന്താശുപത്രികള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളൂ.
കാക്കനാടിനടുത്താണല്ലോ St Thomas Mount. സൌകര്യമായി. അടുത്ത സിനഡ് ന് മുമ്പ് നമ്മുടെ മെത്രാന്മാരെ കൂടടങ്കം "കാക്കനാട്ട്" കൊണ്ടുപോകുക. അവിടെ എല്ലാത്തിനെയും ചങ്ങലക്കിടുക. അല്ലെങ്കില് ഇവര് സാധാരണ മരണത്തിനും ഗ്രേഡ് നിശ്ചയിക്കും. അല്ലാത്ത പക്ഷം മനുഷ്യരെ ജീവിക്കാന് പോയിട്ട് സമാധാനമായിട്ട് ഒന്ന് മരിക്കാന് പോലും അവര് അനുവദിക്കില്ല.

Some priests will misuse. They will use this power to take revenge on his his opponents. That is for sure. May be if somebody dies in home, he is going to say, "it is a suicide, bring me proof". These people can be very cruel.
I think the Catholics in Kerala and everywhere should raise up protest these sensless bishops and priests. We should have more magazines like this Voice. Somebody should put them in place.Otherwise they are going to distroy our church for sure.
The voice looks much better now.it is easy to read.
When you started this blog, it had good intension but time has changed you to be anticatholic and anti clergly.Despite your repeated claim of a believer who tries to keep others informed and expose abuse by the clergy, you seem to be a puppet in the hands of ager,unforviness and hatred. All your material in this blog betray you. Your fight must be against evil deeds and not against any man who does evil things. That is what Christ taught us.
You need to tell truth in love and in good language, as St.Paul exhorts us. But your words are sharp and sometimes ugly. No molecule of love towards the Catholic church,any priest and bishop and nuns are seen in your blog.
Bitter experience from the part of church authorities, I assume from your blog,have turned you firs against your parish pries and bishop and later on against whole church and clergy. Healing is needed in between you and your church authorities.
You can have constructive criticism on church authorities and that is always welcome. That is good too. The way you do things now is negative criticism and hence it should be neglected and thrown to trash.
So change yourself before you try to change all others. Kneel down before our Lord, pray and begg pardon for you and church authorities.

Responding to the above comment, we thank you for expressing your critism. We will candidly explain our extreamly critical stand on clergy and church issues in a separate post in the near future.
Church is giving punishment to the families of suicided people. Everybody is equal in death. Who are the church punishing? We are supposed to forgive and show mersy.
I don't think this blog is anti catholic.but. it is very against priest and bishops actions. I agree withe many things in here. But language is strong make it look anti catholic. Critisising priest or bishop is not anti catholic, I don't think.
