If I were him, I would be so embarrassed I would bury my face behind some ammachi's ഞൊറി.
I am talking about the dismal attendance at the youth's special Manglessh Mass today. Did anybody notice how many so called youth were there today for that Mass? Not very many. A few may be. And, surprise, some adults. Actually there were more adults than children. But the church was basically empty.
It is high time Fr. Antony realized his love affair with Mangleesh is an utter failure. The shepherd leads one way, the sheep goes the other way. It seems the sheep know the direction better than the shepherd. Some shepherd!
Honestly it is decision time for Fr. Antony. Come back to the real world. We know it is painful. But you have to realize the fact that the 9:30 English Mass is an experiment in futility. Syro-Malabar Catholics of Chicago are not African Crabs, like you preached some time ago. We are Indian Crabs. Look at yourself in the mirror, father: you are an Indian crab yourself. Indian crabs do not shed their skin as easy as the African crabs.
At the same time we support English Mass. Our children have to live in this country and be part of the American culture. They don't get that by attending the present kind of Manglish Mass. We said it before, we say it again: we dare the authorities to arrange a real English Mass weekly, by an American priest, for our children. If you are honest in your intentions, and if you truly stand for the youth, love the youth as you claim, that is what you should do.
As it is, 11:00 O'Clock Malayalam Mass is too late for a lot of families. It is too inconvenient for many. Whereas 9:30 slot, the prime time, is wasted for for the benefit of a selfish few.
Fr. Antony has to show the maturity to correct his mis-steps.

Sometime your intentions are right. But you can keep up the pace only if you truely write with your passion and touch the serious subjects.
Past several weeks the writings were boring and you became a "hate blog" where you slam people and you got slammed. And it came to a state where people think, what the heck! Theeppantham is a waste of time and one or many brilliant "Idiots" are wasting their time and making the place for "Anony" commentators to write and commence personal attacks on other individuals in the church. Earlier there was a strong tone in your subjects and now as you notice, people start making a mokry of your style and they openly call you a "#$%$$%"
Before you say to Fr Antony "Awake and Realise Your Mistakes", you first start showing the path to authorities by correcting your owned Blog by following
1. If any Blog Posts are not directly pointing the "real subjects' - Think once again and DELETE them.
2. If any blog comments are hurting any church coming people, and if you beleive they are wrong - DELETE them.
3. Finally start writing the "Needs" alone.

I agree with the author in most of the points.
I feel ashamed if our children dont understand malayalam.
If you put a little interest they will be able to learn how to speak Malayalam in matter of days.
We all claim that we needed a malayalam church for our kids. If our kids dont understand malayalam and dont need a malayalee priest then why do we need a Malayalam Church? We all could have participated in the local catholic church and avoid all these troubles. Arent well all same under GOD and accept POPE as our leader? So, we have all the right and could have just continued with the local catholic church.
In my opinion every one is trying to cash in on us and our children. It is time to evaluate malayalam Church on following:
1. whats are the needs of the Syro-Malabar Community?
2. What are our liabilities?
3. Is there is any positive moves or actions within the people or community after starting these churches?
4. Is our kids going to support these church for the next generation?
5. What could be the future of these Churches?
6. How long can they keep importing priests?
7. What is the current cost for the Syro-Malabar community to maintain the diocese and parishes?
8. Under the present condition, the Bishop and Priests should consider these points and make wise and smart investments rather than keep wasting money looking at the hardworking people and keep asking for more and more?

Vicar is aproaching every single kids and telling them to go for english mass. Somebody is threatening this vicar . Thats why this poor priest is doing it. Nobody wants this English mass. Very few go there to watch that. Even then why it is happening like this in this church. By the way what happened to our malayalam kids choir. The kids use to sing beautifully every last sunday. Thundan or bishop , who swalloed it?That is a big sin. Why didnt these people announce everything before the church construction? O.M.G.
