A commentator mentioned about our just closed poll about the vicar. He claimed the public "unanimously" voted for the vicar to stay on for another 3 years.
The final poll results were: 49% wanted the vicar to be removed.
43% wanted the vicar to stay on, and 8% didn't care either way.
Now we are asking the commentator: do you know the meaning of "unanimous".
Despite the valiant attempt by the vicar's supporters to stuff the ballot box, a sizable majority of the people wish the vicar replaced. The simple truth is the general public is sick and tired of the arrogant and despotic policies of the vicar. People are convinced he has done irreparable damage to the future growth of this community.
The vicar had his chances. He can claim he is just a pastor and as such takes his orders from the bishop. But the vicar is the leader of the parish and he had the God-given duty to protect the interests of his parishioners. He failed in that solemn duty. For example he could have given the bishop constructive advice against adorning the church with that despicable and ugly sheela. He could have advised him against his tilt towards ultra-conservatism. He could have been a hero, and savior of the community. Instead he just stood there passively and looked after only his survival. He turned a blind eye when a great majority of his sheep were looking for leadership. Needless to say now it is payback time.
And so the vicar has to go.

Antony is a shame for this community.
The moral values of this community is at its lowest level under the current vicar's teachings. His main goal is fame, money and position for himself. He want total control of the church and church commities. It is time for him to leave Chicago.
He will try to stay here as vicar untill bshop give him a much better position than the current one. He did not like the position that was offered to him a few months ago and insisted to stay here, and asked to look for a better position. He wanted to come to bishops house and then fight for a possible future bishop position.
If he is a true missionary priest why he is fighting to get great positions only? He must remember that he is a member of the Missionary Society. He needs to be a true believer and a christian missionary.
