You have to stand up to the church authorities and talk to save your beliefs. Learn from Coppell and Houston. In Houston Bishop won't even talk to implement "Viri", because he knows that is not going to happen. In coppell the fight is going on against Viri. Even if the church closes down, copell folks are not going to allow the viri. Instead blood shed will happen in coppell, if Bishop and fly implement viri at 2 AM night without anybody's knowledge like the way happened in chicago. You can still fight with authorities by,
1) inform your community not to pay your churtch mortgage,
2) do not pay more than $1 to sthothrakazcha during mass.
3) Avoid putting Nercha
4) Make sure you pay very less ($1) or no money at all money to the diocese priests when they come with requests.
5) Form a trust for your parishners and and flow all your money through the trust. Pay mortgage through the trust only if the authorities work for you, and not otherwise.
Why do we need a Bishop and crew stationed in USA. Anything they do sitting here can be done sitting in Kerala too. Communication has improved so much, it is not like old times.
For benefits of a community we can use Priests who are always here on student visa. All of them know how to say catholic mass. For weekday masses we can go to any catholic church.
Money is the problem. Save the priests time for spiritual matters.
To manage finance and physical property every year a new team should be elected by the community.

Like Fr.Xavior Khan Vattayil mentioned in his speech, we are attacking the body of Jesus by attacking syro-malabar church and its bishop. We are hurting Jesus. You cannot go to Jesus with hating your church and its bishop. I am from the Knanaya Parish in Chicago. Our church has a very big crucifix from the begining. But Bishop never raised that as an issue. So its hard to believe the entire issue is about crucifix.

Bunch of fools. The basic problem is that most these emotional wrecks come from lower and poor families back home. Most of them are poorly educated and not educated here at all. You never stole money the committe decided to give you a gift of 15, 000 $$ but then the bishop decided to freeze the account and poor Fr. Xavier even the money he was supposed to get got involved in the issue and hope they dont forget to give him 20,000 $ collected exclusively for the retreat.
Shame on all those involved.
The other man to suffer for no fault is the the contractor who lives on remodeling got caught by the controversy for no reason. Jesus will give definitely give the people who plays with poor people. Sahme on the people who are now trying to divert attention by saying Fr. Saji stole the money.
I heard that Fr. vinod called him to telling him to return the money given by the committee.
Once again I reiterate that Fr. Saji did not steel any money but only took what the parish committee gave him for what we are all the proof and so is Fr. George Madathiparambil who was present when we donated the money we have the photo to prove it.

Can someone tell the whole story?
The short version of the story is...
Vicar General said, 'bishop didn't say you cannot put crucifix at the altar'.
Fr. Saji put crucifix at the altar.
The next day Bishop fired Fr. Saji.
End of story.
All those financial allegations were started by few crooked people here to portrait Fr. Saji as a bad person.
Money grubbing priests of Syro Malabar Diocese collect $100+ checks for birthday appearances, house warming, car blessing, etc, etc. Why on earth do those people give the priest such huge amounts is something I cannot understand. Fr. Saji did not succumb to such bribery. He gave his modest salary towards buying the church.
In NJ &Houston people were dedicated for their communities, their faith&their kids,but here people were dedicated to Bishop's agenda only
