Guys Lets take the "Real Way" And it’s time to whow who Coppel Folks Are.
If Coppel looses the church for whatever may be the reasons, let’s take over the Garland Church. We paid and Bishop owned all the churches and we have every right to be part of all the churches in United States.
So this is what we will do
We will allow only Crucified Jesus in Garland Church. And we will remove all Sheela and other "Parambaryam from Garland Church". If others can be dirty and they can go very low, why can't we stand for our the RIGHT things.
So Ladies and Gentleman, We Coppel Catholics are announcing and we will assume all the rights to the Garland Church very soon. We will have Joji Achan or any other achan to enact in Catholic Ways and we will teach that lesson soon.
And we know 85% of the Garland people are also would like to see the crucified Jesus not the Persian Cross.
It's very pathetic to see the Bishop is acting this way and he is showing his "Rowdism" and it's our tutn to do the same and we will do it very gentle. Wait and Watch Now... It's our turn NOW.

The recent media reports of sexual abuse cases fears some of our Syro Malabar Catholic families also. Families are debating whether they should allowed their kids to be hugged by the parish priests. Parents fears about touching kids is understandable, for the news is filled with the horror of child abuse. Unfortunately, some of the abuse is involving Indian priests.
The Pennsylvania State Education Association offers the following guidelines on the use of touch: (1) consider the age, sex, and perception (maturity) of the child, (2) use touch only to praise or comfort, (3) ensure there is another adult present, and (4) briefly touch only the shoulder or arm.
We know that we have certain malayalee priests among us
who has taken a passion to hug girls only. Do we need to wait until problem escalates ? .

As per this news cutting, Thamarassery Bishop Mar. Paul Chittilappilly had announced publicly that Mathai Chacko had received Sacrament with conscious. Manorama News (Calicut edition dated 15/10/07) Original Malayalam is given below.
Now if the Bishop had stressed that The person had received Sacracment when he was conscious, then Bishop must have meant that the person received “ Viaticum, the Last Sacrament of the Christian” which is explained in 1524. If It was only Last sacrament, there was no necessary to say, that it was received when the person was conscious. So, we must conclude that Bishop was meant to say Viaticum which is said in 1524 of CCC.
This must be made clear by the father who went to give sacrament. If the person who received Viaticum was not conscious how did the father gave Viaticum? Did The person confess before receiving Viaticum? If the person had not confessed, how can father gave Viaticum? How could Bishop order to give Viaticum to a person who have not confessed for long time? How did bishop and the father made sure that, the person who was receiving Viaticum had not done any mortal sin?
Now if the person had confessed, How can Bishop say that in a public meeting, that is violation of Confessional secret and Bishop would immediately loose his Bishop hood.
Had this Joseph Chacko expressed his willingness to repent and confess, when he met bishop with conscience? If not, how can bishop compel to give sacrament with viaticum to an unrepentant sinner?
I THINK BISHOP HAS VIOLATED THE SECRECY WHICH IS CONNECTED WITH THESE SACRAMENTS, AND ALSO OTHER CATHOLIC TEACHING. I ALSO THINK THAT BISHOP HAS ABUSED RELIGIOUS FEELING OF MANY CATHOLIC FOR ACHIEVING HIS POLOITICAL AGENDA. I BELIEVE ALL OTHER BISHOPS ARE GUILTY OF THE SAME.

I would say from each church, there should be a VOICE to our beloved Bishop.

If Fr. Saji is not interested in defending the allegations, then can the parisheners go to court to prevent him leaving the country so that the allegations will be tried in a court of law? Thus, even if he leaves, he may have to come back and defend the allegations on some diocese' expense. Just a thought.

The Bishop, VG ,Chancellor and almost all the syro malabar priests as well as Coppel Parishoners knows that the allegations are baseless. In a private conversation Fr.Roy even admits the wrong.
Fr.Saji is reluctant to initiate a defamation suite, and as a priest we have to admit his limitation in doing so. If he does it will end up in liqudating syro malabar diocese.Lawyers are willing on contingency fee basis.

where are the youtube videos about the developments in coppel? looks like many parishoners who support this blog are IT professionals. you could do it. is there any reason that prevents you from posting some video clippings? all syro-malabarians in usa and around the world want to get some idea.we are really tired of reading the comments about sheela and kurisu. you have to visualize what is happening.for example: you could have posted the demolition of the walls in the church or when you had 450 people gathered infront of the church in the night as per some reports. how do the external world believe that. you have to show it through video, because there are a lot of believers here in usa ,ready to support your fight against this sheela and kurisu.

The Vatican on Thursday suspended Bishop John Thattunkal of the Latin Catholic diocese of Cochin on charges of adopting a young woman for his “spiritual refreshment”, marking the first action against a prelate in the 2000 years of the Catholic Church in the country. In another coincidence, the beleaguered Cochin diocese, established in 1557, is the first diocese in India.
“The Bishop has been suspended from the administrative responsibility of Cochin diocese; instead Archbishop Daniel Acharuparambil, of Verapoly Archdiocese, has been given charge of the diocese. The suspension would come into effect from tomorrow itself,” said the Archbishop’s public relations officer Fr Yesudas Pazhambally, quoting the communiqué from Pope Benedict XVI.
A three-member Bishops’ panel would conduct a detailed inquiry into the adoption, which had snowballed into a major scandal. But Thattunkal could continue as a bishop until the final verdict.
The Church, which has been basking in the reflected glory of Sister Alphonsa, who was elevated to sainthood barely 10 days back, found Thattunkal’s deviation from Catholic teachings embarrassing. Though Thattunkal was suspended, the controversy is likely to assume new proportions in the days to come.
The scandal has its roots in Thattunkal adopting a 26-year-old graduate woman from Pathanamthitta district in Kerala. The Bishop met the woman during a pilgrimage abroad in April this year. Back home, the lady began to advise the bishop on administrative matters at the diocese. In the second week of September, the bishop adopted the woman as his daughter through a deed registered at the local registrar office.
When contacted, the adopted woman told The Indian Express that she would consider the suspension as the will of God. “I would continue as the spiritual daughter of the grand papa (as the woman calls the bishop) as long he (bishop) likes. My spiritual powers have helped the bishop solve many crises in the diocese,” she said.

I have to admit it.Every time I see the picture of the red altar veil in the down position .It is absolutely a disturbing site for being a catholic church.It looks as if it is a place for CULT or something.Without the curtain the altar looks beautiful.
Bishop Angadiath why are you in charge of decorative work in churches.Let our ladies do them.They have better taste in hanging curtains and things.
