കൊപ്പേല്‍ പള്ളിയില്‍ ക്ലാവര്‍ കുരിശും കര്‍ട്ടനും തൂക്കുന്നതല്ലെന്നു വികാരി ഫാ. വര്‍ഗീസ്‌ നായ്ക്കംപറമ്പില്‍ ഔദ്യോകികമായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
ഇന്ന് കുര്‍ബാനയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം ഒരു പ്രത്യേക അറിയിപ്പായിട്ടാണ് പ്രഖ്യാപനമുണ്ടായത്. കൊപ്പേല്‍ പള്ളി ഇടവകക്കാരും രൂപതാധികാരികളും തമ്മില്‍ മാസങ്ങളായി നടത്തിയിരുന്ന ഒളിപ്പോരിനു ഇതോടെ അല്‍പ്പമെങ്കിലും ശമനമുണ്ടാകുമെന്നു പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
കുരിശ്/വിരി പ്രശ്നത്തിന് ഒത്തുതീര്‍പ്പായാല്‍ കൊപ്പേല്‍ മിഷനെ ഒരു ഇടവകയായി ഉയര്‍ത്തുമെന്ന് ഏതാണ്ട് ഉറപ്പാണ്.
പള്ളിയുടെ ബാങ്ക് അക്കൌണ്ട് പ്രശ്നത്തിന് പക്ഷെ ഇത് വരെ പരിഹാരമായിട്ടില്ല. കൊപ്പേല്‍ വിശ്വാസികള്‍ സമാഹരിച്ച് ബാങ്കിലിട്ടിരുന്ന തുക പ്രശ്നങ്ങളുടെ തുടക്കത്തില്‍ തന്നെ ബിഷപ്പ് മരവിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. പിന്നീട് മെത്രാന്റെ ഒത്താശയോടെ പഴയ കൈക്കാരന്‍ രഹസ്യമായി തുടങ്ങിയ അക്കൌണ്ടിലേക്ക് ആ തുക അന്ന്യായവും അനധിക്രിതവുമായി മാറ്റുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ഈ അക്കൌണ്ടിന്റെ യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ ഉടമകള്‍ ആരാണെന്നത് കൊപ്പേല്‍ ഇടവകാംഗങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മുമ്പില്‍ എന്നും വലിയൊരു ചോദ്യചിഹ്ന്നമായിരുന്നു. അധികൃതര്‍ പലപ്പോഴും പരസ്പരവിരുദ്ധമായ വിശദീകരണങ്ങളാണ് ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌ നല്‍കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നത്. ഏറ്റവും ഒടുവില്‍ അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞത് അക്കൌന്റ് വികാരിയച്ചന്റെ പേരില്‍ ആണെന്നാണ്‌. എന്നാല്‍ ഇത് ശുദ്ധനുണയായിരുന്നുവെന്നു ഈയിടെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌ ബോധ്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. യഥാര്‍ഥത്തില്‍ അക്കൌന്റ് ഫാ. വിനോദിന്റെയും കടുപ്പന്റെയും പേരിലായിരുന്നുവെന്നു അന്ന്വേഷണത്തില്‍ ചില ഇടവക നേതാക്കള്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയിരുന്നു. ഇന്ന് വികാരിയച്ചന്‍ തന്നെ അത് പൊതു ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌ മുമ്പില്‍ സമ്മദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
സാമ്പത്തിക കാര്യത്തില്‍ രൂപതാധിക്രിതര്‍ നടത്തിയ ഈ കള്ളക്കളി ഇടവകാംഗങ്ങളെ കുറച്ചൊന്നുമല്ല ചൊടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. യാതൊരു സത്യസന്തതയും ബിഷപ്പോ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അന്തമായി അനുസരിക്കുന്ന ചില സമുദായ യൂദാസുമാരോ ജനങ്ങളോട് കാണിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്നു അവര്‍ ആരോപിക്കുന്നു. ലൌകീക കാര്യങ്ങളില്‍ അവിശ്വസ്തത കാണിക്കുന്ന ഇവരെ ദൈവീക കാര്യങ്ങളില്‍ എങ്ങനെ വിശ്വസിക്കും എന്നാണവര്‍ ചോദിക്കുന്നത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ കുറെ ആഴ്ചകളായി സണ്‍‌ഡേ കളക്ഷന്‍ ല്‍ ക്കൂടി ജനനങ്ങള്‍ അവരുടെ അസംതൃപ്തി അധികാരികളെ ബോധ്യപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.
ഇത്രയൊക്കെയായിട്ടും ജനങ്ങളുടെ പൈസ ജനപ്രതിനിധികളുടെ കായ്കളിലെയ്ക്ക് മാറ്റാന്‍ അധികൃതര്‍ ഇതുവരെ തയ്യാറായിട്ടില്ല. ചില രേഖകള്‍ ഒപ്പിട്ടതിനു ശേഷമേ അക്കൌന്റ്കള്‍ കൈക്കരന്മാര്‍ക്ക് കൈ മാറുകയുള്ളൂ എന്ന് കൂടി അച്ഛന്‍ വിളിച്ച് പറയുകയുണ്ടായി.
എന്താണ് ഈ രേഖകള്‍? മറ്റൊന്നുമല്ല. കഴിഞ്ഞ പോസ്റ്റില്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ സൂചിപ്പിച്ച രേഖ തന്നെ. അതായത്, കൈക്കാരന്മാര്‍ എല്ലാ കാര്യത്തിലും ബിഷപ്പിനെ അനുസരിക്കണം . ആദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടത്തിനു വിപരീതമായ നിലപാടുകള്‍ ഒരു വിധത്തിലും അവര്‍ കൈക്കൊള്ളുകയില്ല... തുടങ്ങിയ വ്യവസ്ഥകള്‍ അടങ്ങിയ രേഖ. അതും വെറും വെള്ളക്കടലാസില്‍, മലയാളത്തില്‍ ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്തത്. മീഡിയ മണത്തു വന്നാല്‍ തെളിവില്ലാതിരിക്കാന്‍ കാട്ടിയ ബാലിശമായ നീക്കമാണിതെന്നു ഏത് വിഡ്ഢിക്കും മനസ്സിലാകും . . ഞങ്ങള്‍ ബിഷപ്പിനോട് ചോദിക്കുകയാണ്: ഇങ്ങനെ കൈക്കരന്മാരുടെ കൈകള്‍ കെട്ടാനാണെങ്കില്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന്റെ ആവശ്യമെന്ത്? എന്തിനീ പ്രഹസനം? ബിഷപ്പൊരു ജോലിക്കാരനെ നിയമിച്ചാല്‍ പോരെ? ഏതായാലും കൈക്കരനല്ലാത്ത ഒരുത്തന്‍ അതില്‍ ആദ്യം ചാടി ഒപ്പിട്ടു. യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ കൈക്കാരന്മാര്‍ ഇതുവരെ അത് ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. ബാങ്ക് അക്കൌന്റ്കള്‍ കൈമാറാത്തത്തിനു ഉത്തരവാദികള്‍ പാവം കൈക്കാരന്മാരാണെന്നു പൊതു ജനങ്ങളെ തെറ്റി ധരിപ്പിച്ചു ജനങ്ങളെ അവര്‍ക്കെതിരെ തിരിക്കാനുള്ള ഒരു വിഫല ശ്രമമാണ് അധികാരികള്‍ നടത്തുന്നത്. സംഗതികള്‍ നേരെ ചൊവ്വേ ചെയ്ത്‌, ജനവിശ്വാസം വീണ്ടെടുക്കുവാന്‍ ഇതുപോലുള്ള തരം താഴ്ന്ന വേലത്തരങ്ങള്‍ ഒരു തരത്തിലും വിലപ്പോകില്ലെന്ന് എന്തുകൊണ്ട് നമ്മുടെ അധികാരികള്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ല?
നമ്മുടെ ജന പ്രതിനിധികളെ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ബിഷപ്പിനും കൂട്ടര്‍ക്കും വിശ്വാസമില്ല എന്ന് ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കു മനസ്സിലാകുന്നില്ല. അവര്‍ ജനങ്ങളുടെ പൈസയുമായി നാടുവിടുമെന്നാണോ ബിഷപ്പിന്റെ ഭയം? അങ്ങനെ ആരെങ്കിലും ജനങ്ങളുടെ പൈസ അടിച്ചു കൊണ്ട്‌ പോകാനാണെങ്കില്‍ അത് ഫാ വിനോദും കടുപ്പനുമാകാനാണ് കൂടതല്‍ സാധ്യത എന്ന് ഞങ്ങള്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നതില്‍ എന്താണ് തെറ്റ്. കടുപ്പനാണേല്‍ കുള്ളനാണെങ്കിലും കണ്ടാല്‍ മോശമല്ലാത്തവാന്‍ . വാചാലന്‍ . സരസന്‍ . പഞ്ചാക്കുട്ടപ്പന്‍ . പോരെങ്കില്‍ ഈയിടെ കേരളത്തില്‍ നിന്നും തിരിച്ച് വന്ന ശേഷം തലമുടി ഡൈ ചെയ്ത്‌ കറുപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുമുണ്ട്. നാട്ടില്‍ ആവശ്യത്തിനു തോട്ടവും ചുറ്റുപാടും. മാര്യേജ് കോഴ്സ് നടത്തുന്നതിനിടക്ക് ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു പൈങ്കിളിയെ പാട്ടിലാക്കി, ബിഷപ്പിനെ ബസ്‌ സ്റ്റോപ്പില്‍ തള്ളിയിട്ടിട്ടു , മുങ്ങരുതോ അങ്ങോര്‍ക്ക്? അങ്ങനെ സംഭവിച്ചാല്‍ ഇത്രയും നാള്‍ അങ്ങാടിയത്തിനെ താങ്ങി നടന്നതിന്റെ പ്രതിഫലമായി സ്വയം സമാധാനിപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ട്‌ കൊപ്പെലുകാരുടെയെങ്കിലും സ്വന്തം പേരില്‍ അക്കൌണ്ടില്‍ക്കിടക്കുന്ന 500000 അദ്ദേഹം അടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയാല്‍ നമുക്ക് കുറ്റം പറയുവാന്‍ പറ്റുമോ? ഇങ്ങനെ നടന്നിട്ടുള്ള കഥകള്‍ എത്രയോ ഉണ്ട്.
ഏതായാലും കോപ്പെലില്‍ ക്ലാവറുമില്ല ശീലയുമില്ല എന്ന വാര്‍ത്ത ബിഷപ്പിന്റെ ശിങ്കിടികളെ ആകെ വെട്ടിലാക്കിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്. മാനസികമായി അവര്‍ ആകെ തളര്‍ന്നിരിക്കുകയാണ്. നാട്ടുകാരുടെ മുമ്പില്‍ നാറി. വീടുകാരുടെ മുമ്പില്‍ വില പോയി. ഇപ്പോള്‍ ബിഷപ്പും കൈവിട്ട പോലെയാണ്.പിടിച്ചതുമില്ല, ചവിട്ടിയതുമില്ല എന്ന പതനത്തിലാണ് ഈ ഹതഭാഗ്യര്‍.
എന്നാല്‍ സാഹോദര്യത്തിന്റെയും സ്നേഹത്തിന്റെയും ഒലിവു ശാഖകളുമായി സര്‍വരെയും സ്വീകരിക്കാന്‍ തയ്യാറായി കൊപ്പേല്‍ സമൂഹം കാത്തിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഒരുമയോടെ ഒറ്റ കെട്ടായി നിന്നാല്‍ ഏത് ശീഷ്മയെയും പൊരുതി തോല്‍പ്പിക്കാം എന്ന് കൊപ്പേല്‍ വിശ്വാസികള്‍ ലോകത്തിനു കാണിച്ചു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
ഒരു സത്യം ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കുറപ്പാണ് . ഗത്യന്തര മില്ലാത്തത് കൊണ്ട്‌ മാത്രമാണ് അങ്ങാടിയത്ത് കോപ്പെലില്‍ എന്തെങ്കിലും വിട്ടു വീഴ്ചക്ക് തയ്യാറായിരിക്കുന്നത്. കാരണം അദ്ദേഹം ഇപ്പോഴും ഒന്നും പഠിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. തന്റെ ആജ്ഞാനുവര്‍ത്തികല്‍ക്കൊപ്പം സത്യ വിശ്വാസത്തെ, സത്യ വിശ്വാസിയെ ചവിട്ടി മെതിക്കുക. തന്റെ അധികാര ചെങ്കോലും കിരീടവും കണ്ണില്‍ ചോരയില്ലാതെ പ്രയോഗിച്ചു ജനങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസത്തെ തച്ചുടക്കുക. കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭാ വിശ്വാസത്തെ ഒറ്റു കൊടുത്തു തല തിരിഞ്ഞു പോകുന്ന കേരളത്തിലെ പൈശാചിക ത്രിമൂര്‍ത്തികളുടെ ചാവേറായി അമേരിക്കയിലെ സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സഭയെ ഉള്ളില്‍ നിന്നും നശിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ ഉടലെടുത്ത വ്യക്തിയാണ് നമ്മുടെ അങ്ങാടിയത്ത്. അദ്ദേഹം നെസ്തോറിയന്‍ പാഷണ്ടതയിലേക്ക് വഴി തെറ്റി പ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു.

ബിഷപ്പ് അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന് ഈ സത്യങ്ങള്‍ ഇപ്പോഴും മനസ്സിലായിട്ടില്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് സഹതപിക്കുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് വേണ്ടി പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുന്നു. കാരണം അദ്ദേഹം ഇനി എത്രയോ കൊപ്പെലുകള്‍ അനുഭവിക്കാനിരിക്കുന്നു!

Anyone who believes Fr.Varghese's statement about not installing claver corss and sheela is naive. Haven't you learned anything after all these shinanagans by chicago diocese?
What they are trying to do is get poeople to put in money. That is all that they want, and that is all they care about. They don't care about crucifix. They may let go claver for now. Wait till loan is half way paid off. Then you will see the same bishop and rasputin you saw two months ago making a come back.
Is our bishop a protestant?
When I was little, I knew of only two religions - Christian and Hindu. Then I heard of Muslim, Jainese, and Budhist religions. A bit later I learned of all the sub groups in Christianity, like Malabar, Malankara, and Latin catholics. Then I learned of Protestants, Methodists, Baptists, Presbyterian, Uniterian, etc.
Along the way, I also learned that the difference between protestants and catholics is that, protestants don't believe in pope and they don't obey the Pope's orders.
Our pope said to install crucifix on the altar. Our bishop and archbishop are insisting on having syro cross on the altar. Even now they are playing all kinds of silly games against the crucifix. They are being stubbon like two year old kids. They are throwing temper tandrums in the form of firing Fr.Saji, freezing church's bank account, closing down the church, insisting on blessing the church again, and now asking the trustees to sign some silly balonie written on plain piece of paper.
Our bishop and archbishop are refusing to obey pope's orders to install crucifix on the altar. This is what protestants are doing. That is, disobeying the pope and rejecting his authority. When we disobey the pope, we fall into the protestant category.

പക്ഷേ ഈ അമേരിക്കയിലെ ഏതെങ്കിലും സീറോമലബാര്‍ പള്ളിയില്‍ അച്ചന്മാര് , ആരെങ്കിലും സന്ദര്‍ശകര്‍ വന്നാല്‍ അവരുടെ കൂടെ സന്ധ്യാ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥന ചൊല്ലുന്നത് നീ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ? അതിന് വൈകുന്നേരം അവര്‍ പള്ളിയില്‍ ഇരുന്നിട്ടുവേണ്ടേ! പാപികളായ ആടുകളുടെ മാനസാന്തരത്തിനും ഇടവകാങ്ങളുടെ നന്‍മക്കും വേണ്ടി പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കേണ്ട ഈ നല്ല ഇടയന്‍മാര്‍ സന്ധ്യാസമയങ്ങളില്‍ എന്തു ചെയ്യുന്നു?
Yes, all the happening in USA under Bishop Angadiaths administration leads to believe that he is a protestant supporter.
The Chicago Syro Malabar Bishop once publically mentioned in one of his Sunday homily in Chicago’s old St.Christorm Church in Bellwood, IL (today’s Cathedral) about the Hour of Hope.
Bishop Angdadith is supposed to obey and implement the Catholic doctrines and the teaching of Pope first; rather he is a supporter of Protestantism which is not acceptable.
First let him remove the ugly Veil and the Claver cross from all churches and then install and lift the Holy cross as per the catholic traditions and prove him as a catholic Bishop.
We will obey him only if he binds to catholic belief and practices.

Bishop said he is not against crucifix. Everyone makes mistakes. Sometimes we take advice from people that we think is for the good, but results in bad outcome.
Trust in God. Ask His guidance in everything. Forgive the wrongs others done against you. Be diligent, be smart, be kind, be helpful, and do all these for the grace of God (instead of fame or material gain).
K C A S C in Los Angeles is receiving 2000 dollars from a family from the gifts they got over the weekend from a baptism part. Fr Paul spoke on the Sunday mass about the event asked the parish members to adopt the model. KCASC will use the money for charity.

None of these are true. Anonymous is almost lying 100%. I never see his kids in the choir. I see him and others eating the junk served after mass at times. Poor guys!!! Have no other option. Church is in a "pattikkadu" and the service always ends late. The pastor has lot of time to kill and tame the wild animals and eliminate the ones he does not like.
Please be careful in the area with your wife and kids. Dont wear gold when you go to church in LA

A certain smart-ass made a comment that the Voice does not get any attention and nobody cares about the Voice anymore, or something to that effect.
Let us make this clear. We just put our thoughts and beliefs into words. We do not do this expecting anybody's comments. We are not that childish. But at the same time anybody and everybody has the opportunity to comment on them if he or she thinks it worthwhile. Both positive and negative. If you have nothing to say, just shut-up and read. Or don't read. It's that simple
But a certain fact we have to state. We have noticed from our experience of publishing this blog for about 2 years, how lethargic and cowardly our people are. They have opinions, but are too petrified of the religious authorities to express them openly. They are plain scared to open their mouth. This abject cowardice from the part of the laity is being splendidly exploited by the clergy for their own personal advantage. For this we cannot blame them. That is precisely what they are trained for.
For example take last Sunday's sermon. The sins of the fathers. The vicar says God will punish the children of the children of the children of a sinner up to seven generations! Seven generations, you hear?
What kind of cruel and pitiless god is this that punishes innocent children? I have heard of Kerala Police and the Mafia harassing and hurting the families of people they are looking for, but are unable to catch. So we would like to ask the vicar: what happened to the God most merciful, kind, loving, so loving that He gave his life to atone for our sins? Where is He? Or which God is that? Or are there two gods? One good and the other bad?
Now we know the little trick of the priests: when they want to scare and keep the faithful under control, they talk about an angry, vengeful and unforgiving God, who will punish you with eternal hell. When they want to butter you, they talk about a loving, kind and merciful God.
In short these clergy is abusing God every which way for their own gain!

I just want let you guys know one reason why we have no peace or lot of problems in Coppell ? As an independent observer I can tell you the Following.....
After we separated from Mother church Garland We wanted increase our membership .In another words we encourage the SM Catholics who never ever part of SMC before(here or in kerala).Some of them very seldom went to church on sunday. The only Qualification they have is they born in a SMC Family. Unfortunately After they join the Coppell Parish they started to show their Original color!!!
I am sorry to tell you They have only very little knowledge about SMC. they never been a pert of our SMC family. They know very little about how much sacrifice done by some of our Well respected Community leaders...These people don't want know that....Fine... But why these new trouble makers attacking them personally!!
let me clear one more time.. You can believe me I am an independent observer...
This is just one reason why we have problems in Coppell.

But the fact that we were fooled, and there is nothing we could do, forces us to reject enything and everything that others say and do.
Now, looking at the "Well respected community leaders", are you sure that they took up the leadership positions for unselfish reasons? Can you say for sure that they are not seeking the leadership positions for self gratification?
If the community leaders are unselfish, then what they should do is this: Give other people a chance to carry the torch. Help them get to the finish line standing up. Help them develop into good leaders. That is what "well respected community leaders" should do.
One more thing: "Well respected community leaders" should not expect everyone to bow to them just because they held the leadership position for a while. They will be really respected when they start helping others become leaders. That is, when they start serving those whom he/she is leading - just like what Jesus showed us.

STARTED a detailed investigation as whether the Syro Malabar Church in USA is really a part of Universal Catholic Church Or they are a Protestant church.

The cross is an issue at Koppel and Bishop must listen to the members and take a decision. Same thing with Sheela. You guys pay for the church after all. If the bishop needs Sheela and you guys fontor like it, then no sheela for you.
In every church in US, The priest has to move on after three or fours years also. They don't stay longer and get corrupted by money in USA, spoiled and become the "chattukam" of some of the achayans who has plenty of money from their wive's working their ass off rvrty day.
The biggest problem in SMC is the priest himself who act as god and devil as needed, All they care for is money at the end of the day. Learning psychology for years and manipulate you and and your friends to be his instruments. Keep a distance from K PS ( Kerala Police and Kerala Priests) (thooriyavaney chumanna cumannavaney narum)
If coppel is united and speak up as one voice the Bishop will listen Resolve the curtain and Cross issue through dialogue. Since the churches can only survive with your money, I doubt the bishop will act against your will.
Also the practice of cornering and eliminating the ones who speak up must stop. We need the leaders who can bring people together.
In LA we had all kinds of Catholics under one umbrella of KCASC before all these missions came into existence. The first thing they want to do was get rid of it. The people of LA are wise and they still are actively involved in KCASC. We do charity and recreation for families etc. We are still being attacked. Does it mean that we will get rid of it ? NO. Evil has to fail and we will make sure that KCASC remains for all kinds of Catholics, the purpose for which it was started more than 25 years ago. Now if they say KCASC is against the catholic church after 25 years, where on earth were they before?
My point is the local people who pay for churches should have some rights and freedom and they have the right to question what happens around them. When the churches become self sufficient one day with other revenues they can do what ever they want.

What I heard was that rectory's utility amount and kaikkaran's utility amount cost came on same bill because he put his credit/personal info to quickly get utility service setup for the rectory.
May be the bills are close enough, that he figured he can pay for both with his check once, and then have church pay both the next month. In hindsight it is a bad practice, but I think it is a silly mistake and no harm was done.
However, firing Fr.Saji for installing crucifix, asking him to leave without telling anyone, and attempts to revoke his visa, etc., are very serious matters.
It is a SiLly MiStake and hE sTill cAn bE a gOod kAiKaran.
