First of all, Coppel parishioners, you guys have already made your point the day you installed the crucifix on the altar. You took a stand and never wavered and made sure your stand is implemented.

Bishop and other priests who are in-charge, please accept the fact that people's feelings have been hurt. They took the extreme measures like installing the crucifix out of frustration and disappointment. I don't believe anybody who contributed the hard earned money is a goonda or a enemy of the church or diocese. As leader of our church, please take charge and you have the responsibility to work out a resolution and re-conciliation. This crisis is not helping the Syro-Malabar church or our community or families. This is making us a laughing stock in the Indian community and others. This is causing community to divide and creating issues within families. Bishop, I urge you to take some action towards reconciliation. Please accept the help of your superiors and other bishops. SMC community in US is well of in education and finance. They have high expectations. This diocese is different from all other SMC dioceses in a millions ways. Bishop, people like you and expect to see and hear more from you. Please take some bold steps. We're all with you.
And to my friends (Yes, I mean it. I am not from Texas but I personally know many of you.). I know you guys have been through a lot of trouble and I totally understand your frustration. But please remember, we are one big family (no joke). We always have issues and crisis within our families but at the end of the day we resolve them and find some common ground.
Correct me if I am wrong. This clavar cross is no more the focal point. This issue has become personal. When I see the blog, people are making personal attacks and character assassination. Everyone has the right to choose and express their opinion. Like some installed the crucifix, others did things which they thought is the right thing to do. And they did things as per guidance/instruction from Bishop and other influential people. There are times when we do things which we may not personally approve. Please consider that.
End of the day, we need to stay as a community forever. The kids are watching us. Even if they are not questioning our actions now, they are forming their opinions. The Bishop, acahan's and others will move on but we need to see each other. So please consider my request and workout a peaceful resolution. So please settle this issue and move on...

Bishop needs to answer from the Synod meeting members and Curia.

We need to move on. As you have said, what is happening now in coppell is truly character assaniation.

The charecter assasination was started by our great Bishop, by sending wrong financial allegations against a noble priest Fr. Sajy, just to take revenge for putting Crucifix on Alter. The basic issues remain unsolved;
1)Still Bishop did not say an apology for flase finacial allegations.
2) The Bishop did not assured Coppell parishoners that he wil not attempt again to put claver and curtain in the Alter.
3)The church does not have its own bank acoount yet. The one we have right now was opened by Thoma for Bishop. Present Kaikaran have no control on it.
Only few people can have the resolution for the Coppell issues, that Bishop Angadiyath and his superiors Cardinal Varkey Vithayathil , SMC Curia etc..
Consider the following and asking readers valuable comments (I am only an ordinary person; please forgive me if anything is not acceptable to our beloved Bishop or anybody.)
BISHOP URGENTLY CONSIDER ….the following and you can resolve all the issues internally…
1. Never go against vast majority of parishioners of any church.
2. Learn a lession from Coppell and if wise, rise to occasion and regain the public support by acting quickly and in a just and equitable manner.
3. Call back Fr.Saji to Coppell at least for another one year and request Fr.Saji to serve the community with nominal salary, considering the fact that he received the gift at the time of departure.
4. This way only parishioners will offer their helping hand to church as they needed to pacify their own wounded heart due to unjust firing of coppell parishioners first mission director Fr.Saji.
5. In Fr.Saji’s presence, let Bishop Come to Coppell and do the Blessing .Coppell people will be happier for that...
6. Earlier the best! As every day the situation in Coppell becoming worse and worse.
7. Bishop, we all love you and remembering your hard work in USA for building up this Diosece, only some of your action hurts us…Let us all reconcile and move with love and harmony again..

In fact the very first sentence…that “MIRACLE MAY HAPPEN…BELIEVE…”
Yes we all can wait for miracle and pray for it…Let us pray for WISDOM to everybody !!
This has gone too far and prolonging this any more is bad.
Look back at the crucifix and don't you see Jesus, the son of god who died on the cross for us and the pain and suffering he went through? This was the ultimate sacrifice made for us 2000 years ago. Love one another as Jesus said..
Let us be open in our day to day communications, discussions etc. Church leaders must show strength and courage to be open and be transparent in financial matters as well as everything related to the church and its members who pay for it's existence. . Every church has websites and any confusion can be avoided if important matters are published online and confidence of its members can be regained. In Coppel Fr. Saji was loved by all and he must come back to where he belongs. At least for some more time and heal all the wounds.
All are sons and daughters of God and we are all created equal by god. No one is above the laws of the land and laws of nature which ultimately has its source in God.
On a side note, I am from Pala and I do not see it as an issue between Pala and Chalakkudy or anything like that.

I am from Pala too. This is not an issue about Pala VS other dioceses.
I have contributed significantly to Coppel church. Even beyond my capabailities. I don't feel like paying a single penny now. Just because of the unjustice done to Fr Saji.
Things may get normal at Coppell as time goes by. But I can not forget and forgive, any time soon, what has done to Fr Saji.
I can not pay any $$ until Fr Saji gets justice.
Also the people who caused all these should be punished! They should not be removed from all positions.

4. Publish on Coppell church notice board, the full list of financial transactions from the day Coppell church bank account was frozen, with details on the purpose of each transaction.
5. Publish each week's collection amount, each payment made from church account, and ending bank balance.
Then we can talk about collection basket.
The people of Coppell parish are the ones supporting the Coppell church finances. So we have every right to know where our money is going.

Do your utmost to keep our faith and move along with Christ. The Catholic Church being hurt by a hand full of worldly Bishops and biased priest only. Therefore watch on them. After witnessing the Chicago SMC Bishop closely, I lost my trust in him and he is neither loyal to the church nor to the faithful.
Let us pray for the Bishop and other Lucifer of SMC Chicago for their return to the true long lasting faith.

Dear Son Pottans and vattans,
I just wanted to write this letter to you to let you know that I Love you very much.
I am feeling remorseful and shamed at some of the things that I did as a mum bringing you up. The things I allowed dad to do to you instead of protecting you, for not nurturing you you as a special young boy you were and accepting you as a young man that you are now. To think I said “jokingly”, if Tommy has a boy, push him back”!!!!! That should not have even been thought of, much less being said, it was silently telling you that I was not accepting you what you had.
I know this is not the end of our conversation, perhaps just the start of some real deep wonderful restoration work between you and me. (Dad can deal with his issues when he is ready), but I have to and want to be open and honest with you, no holds barred so you and I can get to know one another in a healthy and happy way. Now I am not saying it will be easy, infact it might be downright hard and painful, but I want to get to know you and just love you and accept you unconditionally and know now that whatever you and Amanda have will be totally and happy accepted by me and I am sure dad as well.

Then you can talk about the Limousine ride. Why are you forgetting the fact that Fr. Saji was fired from job and ignoring the injustice from the part of the Bishop?
Do you agree to the article by Fr. Kottackal?. Are you a missionary and if yes we would like to know which is your parish. Some of us will move there.
I don't think Fr. Saji is fired from his job, but he is transferred to his Original Diocese.I wish him the best.He is still a priest and he should move on. Priests are obligated to obey Bishop's instructions. In Kerala he has to Obey his Bishop's instructions. I pray for him.

Pope didn't fire bishop for disobeying him. Bishop didn't say Fr.Saji should not install crucifix. Vicar General said, "bishop didn't say you cannot install crucifix". So what the heck are you talking about, when you say "obey the leader"?

This is not KERALA. You people need to adapt to this culture for the good,while preserving the good aspects of our Malayali/Indian heritage. The poltics that the bishop is playing isnot one of the good aspect of ANY culture.
Also as a christian my LORD is JESUS CHRIST ,not the bishop. As a CATHOLIC the CROSS I know is the CRUCIFIX.
LET US NOT DEMINISH PEOPLE'S FAITH BY ADDING NEWLY MADE UP, MAN CREATED ELEMENTS TO THE UNIVERSAL CATHOLIC CHURCH.
