ഈ ദേവാലയവും ദിട്രോയിട്ടിലെ ദേവാലയവും ക്നാനായക്കാരുടെതു എന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതിനു പ്രസക്തിയില്ല. മറ്റേത് സീറോ മലബാര്‍ പള്ളികളെയും പോലെ ഇവയും ചിക്കാഗോ സീറോ മലബാര്‍ രൂപതയുടെ കീഴിലുള്ള ഒരു ദേവാലയങ്ങളാണ്. ക്നാനക്കാരും സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സഭക്കാരാണ്. മാര്‍ അങ്ങാടിയത്താണ് അവരുടെയും മെത്രാന്‍ .

New church has Crucifix in the altar, and no claver cross. Yet, bishop has no problem blesing the church. This is what I think the problem is:
Priests from poor families are not allowed to install crucifix on the altar.
Priest from poor families are not allowed to make any decisions in their parish.
Priests from poor families are supposed to be slaves of rich familes in the parish.
Priests from poor families will always be accused of financial wrongs.
Priests from poor families must always abide by priests from rich families.

PRAISE THE LORD!. I say thank you to our Cnanaya brothers for their vision and mission in USA. What a beautiful and serene atmosphere in the Cnanaya Church Altar. The unflustered faith of our Cnanaya brothers is present in the Altar as history resonance.
I hope this new Church will open the blindness of Chicago SMC authority and especially the Bishop Angadiath. The Vicar Antony, Fr.Kadduple and the Bishop need to learn from them. When compared to the Cnanaya authority in USA, our bishop is null and big zero.

First up all, i am not a member of your parish. I haven't even come to your church because I don't live here. All the information I am getting about coppel is from this blog. I am a regular reader of this blog.
Thanks for you quitting E&J and moved to vodka. Why are you so much in love of crucifix?. Do you think that is the only symbolism of catholic church. Jesus died on the cross, but He resurrected from that cross and gone to heaven. He is no more there.If crucifix is all you know about Christianity, then my friend, the story doesn't end at good Friday. You have Easter on the coming Sunday and for your knowledge that is the biggest celebration in the church. So instead of crucifix you may need the plain cross and that is why Vatican is recommending plain cross now a days.
Regarding the Adoration, there are candles, flowers and other decorating items in the chapel. You can verify this by visiting any other chapel. Star is a decorative item in the church. You don't need a crucifix to pray when there is Jesus literally present there. If you cannot pray to Jesus in the adoration room, I really feel sorry you.
Question for you, What will you do for christmas?. Will you replace all the stars and replace with crucifix?. Think about it.The crucifix is to remember the agony Christ have gone through.It should be a passion not madness.

You are immature to evaluate the value of a crucifix. There are many crosses; the cross erected in the Chicago diocese is the cross of the thief on the left side that St.Thomas hated. St.Thomas was really embarrassed the word of God into his heart always because he himself witnessed the wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ personally and healed from his unbelief to a full grown believer.
There were no miracle ever reported in a cross, but there is live presence of miracle in a crucifix.
Please read last session of Page 129 of the Syro Malabar Kurbana book five times, then you will be enlighten by the Holy Spirit so that you can understand the value of a crucifix.
