Our idea is to be different from any other catholic churches by having the MAR THOMA CROSS.This gives us our own identity.In fact this is the only way we can have our own SYROMALABAR identity.We don't even know our roots.I am happy that Bishop Powethil was able to come with this idea to make us an identity.You guys all should embrace the MAR THOMA CROSS.
I guess KNANITES don't want to create anymore problems to the CATHOLIC church by bringing in divisive ideologies when the CURCH is facing a lot of challenges in this new age. They want to preserve their HERITAGE and UNITY.They accomplish this while they stay loyal to ROME and the POPE.GOD BLESS THEM !!!! for their LOYALTY to the Catholic church.

Congratulation to the Knanaya catholic;
Knanaya brothers showed their loyalty to the mother church and they embraced Jesus. There is nothing comparable on earth, beneath the earth and above the earth than a Holy cross. The crucifix is an approved symbol by all humanity in all times and init is everything in its fullest. Jesus is beautiful while on cross, because heaven rejoiced, heaven opened, dead resurrected and the temple veil torn in half.
Let us pray for the Bishop Angaditahs’s return to catholic faith and let the Almighty Lord help him to understand the hidden meaning of scriptures.

Mar Thoma cross is satanic and it is the dead symbol of unbelievers, Please do not try to elevate the creations above the creator itself. Knowingly rejecting the truth is the biggest sin against bible and deliberately denying Christ is a satanic influence.
We are part of St.Thomas Catholics and we do not have any influence with the already vanished caldian church. The St.Thoams Christians can trace back their history from AD52, while the caldian Church concept evolved in only after AD 1500. How come, Indian church became a sister church of Caldian Church?

Being different is not denouncing your faith in crucifix.
If you prefer some other crosses go join kaldaaya group churches at your earliest.
We are Catholics and want to see only crucifix in the alter.
Syro Malabar church symbol cross is on the vest of priests, on table top etc and that is how far that can go inside a catholic church.
This marthoma cross is not worthy to be in the alter for Catholics, as we said if you prefer any other cross, you are free to join any kaldaaya protestant christian denomination church.

If you go back you can see the cross as a symbol of shame / "Ninna" , it is just because jesus crusified , it became the symbol of "Reksha".
Very sad now we cannot see Jesus in our Church.. Only self proclaimed Saviours...

St. Thomas is an apostle of Jesus, and anything named after him can not be put in the alter where CRUCIFIX IS PLACED.
HOLY MASS is celebrated for JESUS REMEBRANCE only not for St. Thomas and anything in his name or someone Else's name is not relevant in the alter because MASS IS CELEBRATION OF ONLY JESUS REMEMBRANCE for true Catholics, if you are a crossbreed go to kaldaaaya church please, and leave us in peace.

Amd with our Bishop.. we should be called "Matholics" because we have Marthoma in our church. And of course we are different. Hmm we are very different with some crazy processes from our Bishop House.
Creating an identity other than Catholics around the world by finding the syro roots! . It's crazy and nothing but selfishness to be co-existent and create an identity for the very own Bishop.
Bishop is not trying to find an identity for “us”. Rather it’s creating an identity for the higher-ups. We, the Catholics proud to be called/known as a Roman Catholics.
In the past few months, what we see within our Syro Malabar Sabha is not helping any real Catholics. Rather it’s creating division and hatred among us.
We, the REAL CATHOLICS should emerge from this situation.
We should stand strong for the crucified cross. It’s nothing but repeating the same Calvary History.

Therefore Mar Thoma Cross not worthy to be venerated in Catholic Church Altar.
Problems that Syro Malabar clergy faces in America
All the priests who come to America are very educated and becomes rich with in no time. They are exposed to the world and lured by the luxuries of the modern world. They are spiritually corrupt and indulge in all sorts of immoral activities. Once they are out of seminaries, the present generation of young priests are attracted by the outside world which they have never seen or experienced. Some priests drink and womanise regularly. But they still remain within the dioceses and pastoral ministry and serve the Syro Malabar community. Our social set-up is such that a priest giving up the cassock for marriage is a butt of ridicule.The best thing that the church should aim for is to encourage those "immoral priests" to get out of the church services and help them get married.
The greatest mistake within the church is that "it itself is the protector of criminal clergy. This has to be changed. Priest who regularly visit gentlemen's club (strip club or adult entertainment stations) and then try to get laid with the wives and daughters of firm Syro Malabar believers must immediately be removed from priesthood and get penalized.
Syro diocese fired Fr. Saji for installing crucifix on Coppell church altar.
Now only crucifix to be seen in all of the new churches!!!
Giving up one's life for others commands more respect than anything else.
Fellow priests in syro dioces worked behind the scenes to deport Fr. Saji because he refused to worship dollars.
Now people opened their eyes and realized they were getting robbed by syro diocese and its dollar worshipping priests.
