First of all, let me congratulate the parishioners of Garland in putting up a spectacular show in Garland, testifying to their faith in the Crucifix and holding steadfast to their conviction that the Mar Thoma Cross must be kept out of the Garland Church.
They held on for almost six hours displaying their courage and heroism as mighty soldiers for Christ. It is also true that the Bishop’s and Fr. Joji’s gang also fought like a bulldog fighting for the wrong cause -- their meaningless cross. They did gain an apparent ‘tiny victory’ which will soon evaporate into ‘no victory at all’ in the next few days. If anybody thinks that Fr. Joji’s intimidation tactics succeeded in Garland by succeeding to force the parishioners to place a picture of the Mar Thoma Cross in the Sanctuary and also to hang the veil, think again.First of all, let me congratulate the parishioners of Garland in putting up a spectacular show in Garland, testifying to their faith in the Crucifix and holding steadfast to their conviction that the Mar Thoma Cross must be kept out of the Garland Church.
In the Old Testament, when the Philistines captured the Ark of the LORD, they thought they had gained a huge victory. But they were in for a rude awakening which came when they tried to place the Ark of the LORD against statue of their pagan god, Dagon. On the first day, they saw that their god Dagon had fallen on its face in front of the Ark of the LORD. Thinking that it was just a pure accident, they set it back up and put it back in its place. But next day, again it fell flat on its face but this time, its head as well as both its palms were broken (1 Sam. 5:3-4). God did prove a point: Idols are no match to things that are divine in our place of worship.
This should serve as a valuable lesson for our Bishop and Fr. Joji. If they think that they can have a picture of their idolatrous cross side by the side with the glorious Crucifix of Jesus Christ, they could not be more mistaken. As I have been telling some of my fellow soldiers in Garland, sometimes it takes 10 strikes of a sledge hammer to break a huge rock. The heroic soldiers for the Crucifix in Garland have broken the huge rock represented by the Mar Thoma Cross into pieces. Now only a cleanup remains. This will soon come and it has already begun. Notice has already gone out to the Bishop and Fr. Joji that their victory will not stand with convincing reasons for it. Fr. Joji Kaniampadickal in Garland and our Bishop Mar Angadiath in Chicago have failed to understand a very important truth. They have failed to understand that if the statue of a pagan god Dagon was no match for the Ark of the LORD which was only a shadow of the Crucifix that was to come, certainly their man-made idolatrous Mar Thoma Cross can never be a match to its ultimate reality in our place of worship. The parishioners of Garland will soon have a huge victory to celebrate just as the parishioners of Coppell did on December 19, 2011 if not greater.
By using intimidation tactics in Garland during the general body meeting yesterday, Fr. Joji has lost a great opportunity to save the Diocese from the brink of bankruptcy following the impending legal action against the Diocese. As for the parishioners of St. Thomas the Apostle Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, they have come out with flying colors as they captured a Kodak moment which must have made their Savior hanging on the Cross truly proud. And for their neighbors in nearby Coppell and across the Diocese, they have every reason to celebrate the victory scored yesterday in Garland. Praise and Glory to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who always gives us the victory (1 Cor. 15:57).

The pegan Mar-thoma cross and the veil must go.
Fr. Joji explained very clearly about Marthoma cross with written and signed documents from Rome.Thank you Fr. Joji for educate us. That explanation with lot of proof opened lot of parishioners eye.Marthoma cross is also a powerful cross.You can see the miracles happened thru this cross if you willing to study the history!
I can tell you very good example just in front of our eyes.Some people can not even handle the power of this cross. That is why they are scared and get angry when they see this cross. The real catholics never say even one word against any cross. Because regardless of the shape of the cross, all the crosses are the sybole of salvation.
You have to respect cross period!!!!
Bishop Angadiath is the #1 problem maker within our community.
There is no need any half named setups in our churches. Do not allow to hang and veil and the pegan cross should be through out from the Garland church. Please arrange a protest rally in front of the church in comings days and bring the atrocities of Syro Malabar Chicago Diocese to the American media.
I think the Bishop and his biased graceless priests are watching the happening around the world and the impact of people voice.
SMC BISHOP SYNOD, What is going on in USA SMC Churches?
THIS is a Clear violation of your instructions by our vicar Fr. Joji in our garland church General Body meeting on 02/27/2011.
One of the trutees told the parishioners whoever want to see crucifix in our church altar can go to any other churches, this was with the approval of our vicar Joji.
Fr. Joji proclaimed in the General Body that the Persian cross is the official cross of Syro Malabar Catholic Church.
Fr. Joji even let someone make a slide show about the Persian Cross and forced all congregations to watch it, all people in the General Body had to watch this slide show proclaiming this Persian cross is far superior to Crucifix, and the General Body meeting was purposefully extended so that less number of people will remain in the church to discuss the altar design of our new Garland church.
Our Garland Church General Body meeting took more than 6 hours; most of us came to church at 8.30 AM for the first mass and were only able to go home only at 6.30 PM.
We consider this as inhumane and torturous; we all had to sit through all this slide show of Persian Cross proclamation by all this Claver Persian cross supporting Kaldaaya group.
Even though lot of people are against the Claver Persian Cross being placed in the altar and the veil, they manipulated somehow to have this Pagan cross in the altar, please void this forceful and preplanned agenda of Claver Cross installation and veil in our New Garland Church altar.
Please protect our right to have only Crucifix in our Catholic church altar, enforce the instructions by the Syro Malabar Synod decisions in all churches immediately or we will make this matter known to all media in Dallas and the world.

ആദ്യം വന്ന ക്ലാവേര് വാദികളുടെ പല മക്കളും കാട്ടി കൂട്ടുന്ന കോപ്രായങ്ങള് കനിയാം പടി ചോദിച്ചു മനസിലാക്കുക എന്നിട്ട് പറ ഈ ക്ലാവേര് വാദികള് എത്ര നല്ലവര് ആണെന്ന്! അവരുടെയോ പിള്ളേര് നശിച്ചു അപ്പോള് അവര്ക്ക് വാശിയാണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിള്ളേരും നശിച്ചു കാണാന് അതിനാണ് ഈ ക്ലാവേര് ഞങ്ങളുടെ പള്ളിയില് വയ്ക്കാന് ഈ മൂപ്പന്മാര് വെമ്പല്; കൂട്ടുന്നത് ! ഇനി പിതാവിനെ കൂട്ടുപിടിച്ചാല് ഒരു അടിപൊളി ശവാടക്ക് അവര്ക്ക് പ്രതിഫലം കിട്ടും അതാണ് ഈ ഒടുക്കത്തെ കള്ളാ കൂട്ട് കെട്ടിന് അര്ഥം !

If you have watched last Sunday's General body meeting in Garland it would be very clear and evident that Fr.Joji is a verystrong Clavar Patient and he didn't follow any standards to the utterances he was making there.He was adamant and he was in the meeting with certain pre planned intentions.He speeches clearly indicated that he doesn't have any respect to Crucifix at all.Even he tried to put down the Coppel Parishioners in Garland General body meeting.He misinterprited Canon laws,decrees/Articles from Rome and Synod and presented forged materials to convince the parishioners for Clavar Cross.He even entitled Mr.Kunjumon(A trustee who should speak for the parish and the Priest officially) to provoke the public with intimidating comments.
Guys do you belive that Fr.Joji agreed to place the cross in the altar just because he liked it?He was playing diplomatically with guidance of his Boss Mr.Angadi to compromise this way so that they can collect pledges and money from the Parishioners who stopped contributing to this church just becs of the Clavar Cross issue.Now you guys just wait and watch!!!They'll collect enough money from you guys towards annual pledge and building pledge and then they'll show their real face.Once they collect enough money from us they'll either say the Icunography Father did not agree to our suggestion of keeping the Crucifix within the altar or they may say that this Icuno father did not agree on the size of the Crucix!!!At the end they'll come out with tiny crucifix within the Altar or no Crucifix at all!!!Just wait and watch.I'm talking from my past experience from this parish and other Syro malbar Parishes in US and Syro Priests.Do you think that you can trust this Priest and Our Bishop?Will they stick to their words forever....No...their benchmark is money...So hold on to the cash you have until Crucifix is placed and it's enough size and shape.Our Parish is going thru a dangerous financial situation and Joji and other Clavar Patients are scared of this situation.That's the only reason you guys got a favourable decision on the Crucifix on last Sunday but don't be so happy...You guys are going to see these people's real face soon.
It was evident from yesterday's General Body meeting that Mr.Jilson is really a Calavar maniac..He spends his time and talents(If he has any) for last three years for Clavar Cross without going for a job after his lay off..There must be something wrong with this guy.Please think twice whether you need a CCD teacher like him?He'll be injecting the Clavar Poision to the our Kid's blood...be careful on this.Have you seen any such guys in our church employing their spouse for overtime and spending their time for Clavar Cross????What's he acheiving out of it?

If these Kaldaya Bishops & Priests not listening to our requests, Please go and take this Pagan Powathil cross and dirty red veil from the altar and throw to the Garbage din. In Thalasserry Arch Diocese first our bishop Valiamattam was not listening our repeated requests and finally we the migrants from central travencore reacted. We forcebly took this Powathil Pagan cross from altar and throw to the garbage. Now we are having Crucifix in the altar of our church.
Thus we teached a "great theological lession" to these stupid kaldaya Groups headed by the great mad man Powathil.
So my dear US friends, Why you are still begging in front of these Kaldaya fools ? Please act. If they are still resisting, give "Quotation" to these kaldaya idiots. How can a priest or bishop ask church congregation if they want Crucifix in the altar?
Come on, we are Catholics and what a silly question is this?
The only relevant question a priest or Bishop can ask is if anyone has objection to the installation of marthoma cross inside the church in altar.
That is it, no politics inside Catholic church, the place of Crucfix in the center of the altar is a reality and no changes to that.
But if anyone has objection to the maarthoma cross in the church altar then it can not be installed at all.
clear now-- no questions about the crucifix, it is part of catholic church altar, but only question that can be raised is whether anyone objects to Persian claver maarthoma cross.
Our Parish is going thru a dangerous financial situation and Joji and other Clavar Patients are scared of this situation.
That's the only reason we got a favourable decision on the Crucifix on last Sunday but don't be so happy...

Just look what happened in our Garland Church General Body meeting on 02/27/2011.
1.Our Vicar preached about Claver Persian Cross for almost six hours.
2.All the people in our parish General Body were forced to watch a slide show proclaiming Persian cross superior to Crucifix.
3.One of the trustees even told “us the supporters of the crucifix only altar” to get out and go to the neighboring churches to worship Jesus.
4.The church Vicar and kaldaaya group pressured us the crucifix supporters to succumb to their preplanned agenda of putting Persian Cross in the altar.
5.Who made the resolution to have both Crucifix and Persian cross in writing and cheat us of signing that sheet? Think ….. Got it, yes Bishop was here last week… the master of Persian cross was here planning all this ahead of time, they rehearsed it well.
6.We The crucifix supporters were threatened by the Claver group including Jojiachan that this is the only way we can have Crucifix in our new Church altar, that is we need to let them put Claver cross along with Crucifix. What a trap?
7.So it is quite clear it was a preplanned setup to get claver at any cost in our church altar, first threaten us the parishioners with only claver Persian cross altar, if we don’t agree then convince us about the wonders and blunders of the Persian cross using slide show and show some papers saying they are the real documents signed by pope, then still we don’t agree on claver cross in altar then deny us the chance to put crucifix or claver cross in the altar, finally we will somehow think the best option for us is to have both Persian cross and Crucifix together with veil. Who won? They made us fools, this is the price we end up paying if keep believing them and paying them whenever they ask for money….

From last Sunday's general body meeting it is very clear to each one of us that our Priest Joji is a hardcore Clavar Cross follower.So we the Crucifix followers should rethink and reconsider our decisions to support this church financially.Also you guys might have noticed Mr.joji was lying many times in front of the parishioners such as in the case of extending the parish Council term till the end of the new church construction and about the historical importance of this clavar Cross...

An attempt on the life of Thrissur Archbishop Mar Jacob Thoomkuzhy, one of the contenders for the top post in the three-million-strong Syro-Malabar Church in Kerala, has come to light.
The bid was made on August 2. During a special mass he conducted in a church near Thrissur for the ordination of nuns, sulphuric acid was mixed with the wine given for his consumption. Fortunately, the archbishop took only a small gulp as he felt a burning sensation. The priest who assisted him in the mass consumed the rest, injuring himself seriously.
Both had to be rushed to the hospital before they completed the mass. While the archbishop was discharged after 10 days, the other priest had to spend more than a month in hospital. Mar Jacob Thoomkuzhy, who suffered burns on his oesophagus, was on liquid diet for several days after his discharge.
Shockingly, the Church had tried to suppress the matter. It was not even reported to the police, which led to speculations in church circles.
When reports about the incident appeared in a section of the media after several days, the chancellor of the arch diocese issued a statement claiming that the archbishop had consumed wine which was accidentally mixed with 'diluted battery water'. According to him, the battery water was kept in the mineral water bottle near the altar.
The statement did not clarify several crucial points such as how the acid reached the vestry or how it was transferred to the mineral water bottle and carelessly kept near the altar.
The search for answers to these questions leads to more intriguing questions. Interestingly, the sacristan who used to arrange the mass every day was absent during the incident. He had instructed the nuns not to use ordinary water for mass, only mineral water. The nuns had no reason to doubt the sacristan and used the liquid in the mineral water bottle.
There has not been any explanation why the sacristan remained absent on the day the church had a VIP guest.
The reformist faction in the Syro-Malabar Church, which has been waging a battle against the establishment for the past two years, has demanded a high-level inquiry into the incident. In a memorandum to Chief Minister E K Nayanar, they alleged that there was a plot to eliminate the archbishop, who is considered a sympathiser to their Indianisation cause.
Mar Jacob Thoomkuzhy is among the senior archbishops being considered for promotion as major archbishop, which is the supreme authority of the Church that was accorded independent status by Vatican in 1992. The post has been lying vacant since Cardinal Antony Padiyara's retirement on health grounds last year. The Church has been under the control of a caretaker administration headed by Archbishop Varkey Vithaythil.
Incidentally, the incident occurred close on the heels of the visit of Mar Jacob Thoomkuzhy to Rome on the summons of the Pope. There were speculations in the Church circles that the visit was connected with his promotion.
The reformist faction had alleged an attempt by a rival faction, the Chaldeans, to 'usurp' power in connivance with the Oriental Congregation in Rome. The Chaldeans, who have been trying to restore the eastern traditions and rituals in the Church, is headed by Changanacherry Archbishop Joseph Powathil, who is another contender for the top position.

Reformist leader Joseph Pulikkunnel told that the failure by the authorities to report the matter to the police smacked off an attempt to hush it up. He said the laity, who were disturbed by the incident, had a right to know how the acid reached the vestry, and only a police investigation could bring out the facts.
Though Nayanar has ordered an investigation, it is yet to make much progress.
The reformists fear that the Church may use its influence to hush up the matter, as it had allegedly done in the case of Sister Abhaya, a nun from Kottayam. Though the Central Bureau of Investigation found that she was murdered, they sought the closure of the case expressing inability to nab the culprits.
The Thrissur superintendent of police said his force was helpless since the church authorities had no complaints about the incident. He said the authorities had clarified that the incident was the result of a mix-up, and had ruled out any attempt on the archbishop's life.
Joseph Pulikkunnel said that premature deaths of bishops have not been rare in the Church. The most glaring case was the death of Papal representative Archbishop Abraham Kattumana on the day he submitted a report to the Pope on granting autonomous status to the Church. The cause was reported as heart attack.
Cardinal Joseph Parecattil, Bishop Manguzhukkarry and Archbishop Joseph Kundukulam had similar premature deaths.

This is what happened in our last sunday's general body meeting.Anagadi had arrived here a week back just to oversee the final rehersal of this drama.Joji has executed it very well.The drama was acted with reality very well.Audience was taken into confidence with forged materials and documents and false presentations.The general body meeting was hijacked by Clavar Cross gangsters to execute Anagadi's plan B.Plan A was to force to agree the general Body meeting with the previous decisions of keeping Persian Cross in the Altar.However the crowd on Crucifix side were having Amazing strength and that made Clavar gang to execute their Plan B.The participation from Crucifix side was more than what Clavar gang expected and that's what turned down the situation.

Garland Will Be the Spiritual Armageddon of the Syro-Malabar Church – And a Do or Die Battle For Its Members – Tom Varkey
In Hosea 4:17 God gives us an important command which may not have captured the attention of most of us. It says: “Ephraim is joined to idols; leave him alone”. Some translations read: “Ephraim is joined to idols; Judah, do not join him”. Here God is describing how one of the tribes of Israel belonging to Ephraim is engaged in idol worship. In the second half of the verse, He gives a stern warning to Judah (and all other tribes of Israel as well to us) not to join Ephraim in their idolatry. These marching orders could not have come at a better time for the parishioners of Garland. Fr. Joji and Bishop seem to be hell-bent to impose their idolatrous ‘Mar Thoma Cross’ on the Syro-Malabar congregation in Garland. Some parishioners of the community think that it is OK to join Fr. Joji and the Bishop in this abominable sin. Well, folks, I have bad news for you.
In 1 Pet. 1:16 God says: “Be ye holy as I am holy.” We all know that God killed Aaron for crafting the golden calf for the Israelites to worship as we read in Dt. 32:50. God dishes out a hefty punishment to Moses for not “upholding the sanctity of His name among the Israelites” by denying him the opportunity to enter the land of Canaan. He tells him that the best he can have is to see the Promised Land “only from a distance” but not enter it. What was the sin Moses, who led the Israelites through the Egyptian desert for 40 years leading them into the Promised Land, committed to deserve such a hefty punishment? His crime is described in Num. 20:11. Instead of speaking to the rock, Moses struck the rock as he spoke to it in violation of God’s instructions in Num. 20:8. The violation was that he did not carry out the instruction of God verbatim – word for word. Had it been us, we would have told God, “Come on God, get a life.” But that is the kind of obedience that God expects from us and nothing less.
In Dt. 13:6-9 God tells the Israelites what they should do if any of their son or daughter or wife or friend entices them to follow other gods. In v. 8-9, He tells them that not only should they not listen to them but have no pity on them and should kill them showing no mercy whatsoever. “You shall be the first one to kill anyone who entices them in this manner”, He tells them. Now had Fr. Joji and Bishop Angadiath been traveling to the Promised Land under the leadership of Moses, they would have been killed long time back for advocating the Mar Thoma Cross as the substitute for the Cross of Jesus Christ. And also they would see the Promised Land “only from a distance”.

Fr. Joji and Bishop Angadiath and the supporters of the Mar Thoma Cross are all traveling towards heaven in this world as we also are. The stakes are extremely high in our journey through this life. The million dollar question to ask is: “Is it enough for them as well as for us to see heaven “only from a distance?” In Lk. 9:25 Jesus asks us: “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but suffers the loss of his own soul”? In the case of Fr. Joji and Bishop Angadiath, the question may even be paraphrased “What does it profit them if they put Mar Thoma Crosses in all the churches along with accompanying veils but see heaven only from a distance?” These are serious questions to ask as we are entering the Battle for Garland with regard to the selection of the Crucifix for its sanctuary. We cannot afford to make the wrong choice. We have to obey God word for word or else we will be seeing heaven “only from a distance” as Moses saw the Promised Land. In other words we will not enter it. So the only way to make sure that we enter Heaven is to obey God’s word exactly as He tells us in Jn. 3:14. We must “lift up the Son of Man as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert” – with no veil and with no drawing of the Mar Thoma Cross underneath the Crucifix. If not, it is guaranteed that we will only see heaven “from a distance” which simply means we will miss going there.
Now that is not good enough for us. So, the Battle of Garland is brewing up to be the spiritual equivalent of the Battle of Armageddon for us. We cannot afford to budge or waver. The folks belonging to our Bishop and Bishop Powathil have their priorities utterly mixed up. They are fighting for the Mar Thoma Cross as though going to heaven depends on installing the Mar Thoma Cross wherever they can. In this frantic attempt, these spiritual terrorists do not even hesitate to poison and kill even one of their own kind like the respected Archbishop of Thrissur, Jacob Thoomkuzhy. That too in the middle of the Holy Mass by adding sulphuric acid in the wine used for the Mass. Their hearts are filled with evil and hatred. But let us have a totally different attitude as we fight for Garland: ‘Let us love them to death but fight against their Cross and Veil until our death’.
This way, we will make absolutely sure that we enter heaven by following the commandment of God to love our enemies and do good to those who hate and persecute us. We will not be like these fanatics of the Mar Thoma Cross who will see heaven “only from a distance” as Moses saw the Promised Land because they stubbornly refuse to lift up the Son of Man on the Crucifix in open rebellion against His word in Jn. 3:14. We will fight till our very death to make sure that the Crucifix and Crucifix alone is installed in the Garland Church with no drawing of the Mar Thoma Cross or the Veil. Because we are not prepared to be satisfied with seeing Heaven “only from a distance” as these Claver Cross fanatics will be because they refuse to obey God word for word both in the installation of the Crucifix in the Garland Church. Nor are they willing to love their brothers and sisters as illustrated by their attempted murder of Archbishop Jacob Thoomkuzhy in 1992. Praise be to Jesus Christ and His Most Blessed Crucifix.

If Joji can't do the following then the General Body decision has to be voided... definitely it was a preplanned game.
We challenge Fr.Joji to publish all the documentary proof you presented in the general body meeting on the notice board of the church on next Sunday.
If you can't we will be forced to believe that you were hijacking the general body meeting with forged documents.
We ask Fr.Joji to publish the documents pertaining to the communication from Rome which validates the authenticity of Clavar Cross.
We need to see the docs pertaining to the Synod decision on Clavar Cross.
Also we need to see docs which states that where did a Clavar Cross perspire Blood?Also we need to see the Canon Laws you were refering in the meeting.
Would you have courage to publish them on church notice board next Sunday??
If not the decisions taken on 02/27/11 General Body will be considered as void and null.
