ഏതു സാധാരണ മാതാപിതാക്കളും കരുതലോടെ നോക്കിക്കാണേണ്ട തരത്തിലുള്ള ഞെട്ടിക്കുന്ന സംഗതികള്‍ ആണ് ഞങ്ങള്‍ അന്വേഷണത്തില്‍ നേരിട്ട് മനസ്സിലാക്കിയത്.. ക്ലാസ് മുറികള്‍ക്ക് മുമ്പിലുള്ള ഹാള്‍ വേയില്‍ മുട്ടിനു മുട്ടിനു ക്യാമറകള്‍ ആണ് പിടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതില്‍ നിന്നും മനസ്സിലാക്കാവുന്നത് ഹാളില്‍ നടക്കുന്ന സംഗതികള്‍ നിരീക്ഷിക്കുക എന്ന ഏക ഉദ്ദ്വേശത്തോടെയല്ല അവ പിടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഹാള്‍ നിരീക്ഷണത്തിനു വേണ്ടിയായിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ ഹാളിന്റെ ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരറ്റത്ത് ഒരു ക്യാമറ പിടിപ്പിക്കേണ്ട കാര്യമേയുണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളൂ. അതായത് ഇത്രയും കാമെറകള്‍ അവിടെ സ്ഥാപിചിരിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഉദ്ദേശം ക്ലാസ് മുറികളിലേയ്ക്ക് ഒളിഞ്ഞു നോക്കുക എന്ന ഉദ്ദേശത്തോടെയാണ്. രണ്ടാം നിലയിലുള്ള ഒരു ക്ലാസുമുറിയുടെ വാതിലിന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍ പിടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ക്യാമറയുടെ ഷേഡ് നീക്കി നോക്കിയതില്‍ നിന്നും ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കിത്‌ ബോധ്യമാകുകയും ചെയ്തു. പുറമേ ഡോം രൂപത്തില്‍ ആണെങ്കിലും അതിനകത്തുള്ള ലെന്‍സ്‌ ക്ലാസ് മുറിയിലേയ്ക്ക് ഉന്നം വച്ച് ആയിരുന്നു തിരിച്ചു വച്ചിരുന്നത്. ഇരുണ്ട ഷേഡ് ഉള്ള ഡോം ആയതിനാല്‍ ലെന്‍സിന്റെ ആങ്കിള്‍ പുറമേ നിന്നും നോക്കിയാല്‍ ആര്‍ക്കും കാണാന്‍ പറ്റില്ല.

we pay more money to school than church as school tax, still we don't complaint cameras in school. but we apriciate that for the sake of our children. if we are godfearing churchmembers,there is nothing to worry about cameras.

The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of a women’s religious congregation in Kerala fighting to keep control of the management of a controversial school.
“The … order is a great relief. We have taken great pains to fight for justice and God has delivered it,” Sister Jessy, superior general of the Congregation of Mother Carmel (CMC), said today.
The court on Friday dismissed several petitions filed by the parish priest of St. Mary’s Church in Njarakal and declared that the controversial Little Flower High School in the parish belonged to the nuns.
The vicar had challenged a Kerala High Court order rejecting his claim over the school.
The CMC nuns set up the school for girls in 1945 and appointed the parish priest as manager. The parish is under Ernakulam-Angamaly archdiocese.
Problems arose in 2007 when the parish priest allegedly forged ownership documents and asked the nuns to vacate the school. The sisters challenged the move, according to Carmelite Sister Teena Jose, a High Court lawyer.
Sister Jose said that in 2008 her order received government approval to remove the manager. “But the parish priest with the help of a group of parishioners beat up nuns and threatened them,” she narrated.
Later the High Court ordered police protection for the nuns who approached the archdiocesan leaders. But “they were not ready to do justice for us,” Sister Jose said.
The congregation expelled Sister Jose, but later took her back. She said even their superiors deserted them when the nuns went to the court.
“The Church leaders put tremendous pressure on our superiors to withdraw the case. But we fought to the end and won.”
Father Paul Thelakat, spokesperson of the Syro-Malabar Church, said the archdiocese respected the court verdict.
Father George Pulikuthiyil, who directs a human rights center, cited the controversy as an example of the Church’s “inhuman approach.”
“It was money and authority that motivated the Church to deny the ownership of the school to nuns,” he added.

If cameras are needed all over the building because kids are doing immoral stuff, then we need cameras in all the achans rooms too; because, we have heard of many instances of priests immoral activities - especially, child molestations.
Guys and Gals,
There is nothing wrong with installing surveillance cameras in our church premises. Some of our (so called good)teenage kids were upto a lot of mischieves in the past. Talk to regular church goers who pay attention to the surroundings and they will vouch for it. It doesn't take a genius to come up with negatives in everything we do. Look at the positive side and try to think positively. Then you will start seeing the brighter side of things.
