പുതിയ പള്ളിയുടെ മുമ്പിലും പിറകിലും ക്ലാവര്‍ കുരിശുകള്‍ പാറിയിരുന്നു. ക്ലാവര്‍ കൊടിമരവും. അല്ത്താരയില്‍ മധ്യത്തിലായി തന്നെ ക്ലാവര്‍ കുരിശു. വിശുദ്ധ കുര്‍ബാനയിരിക്കുന്ന സക്രാരി ഒരു വശത്തേക്ക് മാറ്റി സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
പുതിയ പള്ളിയുടെ അള്‍ത്താര കാണുവാനുള്ള ഭ്യാഗ്യം ഈ ലേഖകന് ലഭിച്ചില്ല. വെഞ്ചരിപ്പു കഴിഞ്ഞു അനുമോദന സമ്മേളനം നടന്നു കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന സമയം അള്‍ത്താരയുടെ ഒരു നല്ല ഫോട്ടോ എടുക്കാമല്ലോ എന്ന് കരുതി ചെന്നു. പക്ഷെ പള്ളി പൂട്ടി, അകത്തു ക്ലാവര്‍ കുരിശിനു കാവലായി മൂന്നാല് കാലമാടന്മാര്‍ കുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ആര്ക്കും അകത്തു പ്രവേശനം ഇല്ല എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.
എത്രനാള്‍ ഇവര്‍ ഈ ക്ലാവര്‍ കുരിശള്ത്താര വിശ്വാസികളില്‍ നിന്നും മാലോകരില്‍ നിന്നും മറച്ചു വയ്ക്കും എന്ന് കാണണം.

Its absolutely true......Mr. Tom Varrkey is great. Atleast he hhas the courage to stand for the crucifix, not just talk in between..He could also argue with a priest today about it who thought he could brain wash Tom.These priests and the bishops who just want to live in luxury and implement stupidity as they want using other peoples money. I saw the chapel and the curtain also has Lotus cross which is against the word of Joji the coffin......otherwise also who is he to give a word.He is one with no back bone, plays everything as Angadiyath and his friends like Kavalam, kunjumon and other gundas.I don't feel like going to the garland temple anymore.One more thing.....wish Mar Angadiyath do some speech therapy so people can understand what he talks.He talks like movie actor Jose Prakash had flu........
I Bring You God News of Great Joy: Today in the Town of Garland, a New Baby Has Been Born to You: Baby’s Name -- OCCUPY SMCC – By Tom Varkey
What a glorious day it was in Garland. There were many high dignitaries like King Herod and the chief priest and many high priests living in and around Bethlehem at the time jesus was born. But none of them realized that a great baby who was to be the Savior of the world was born on that first Christmas Day. In the same way today, on December 17, 2011, many bishops and priests converged on Garland without realizing that the City of Garland was about to give birth to a new baby as a most precious Christmas gift not just to the parishioners of Garland but to the whole Syro-Malabar Church. The new-born baby’s name is OCCUPY SMC. Just as that Christmas baby was to become the Savior of the world, the new-born Occupy SMCC has every potential to become a true Savior for the lovers of the Crucifix. I thank the Baby Jesus in Bethlehem along with all my friends who participated with me either physically or prayerfully in the heroic and courageous first act in the long drama that will be unfolding as this new-born baby grows and matures in the Syro-Malabar Church to become its Savior one day by crushing the head of the idolatrous ‘Mar Thoma Cross’.

The Crucifix Is Absolutely Essential For Our Salvation and It is Time to Defend It
Things We Should Know:
Col. 2:8: “See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.”
Only Crucifix is based on Christ and any other form of the Cross is based on human tradition and the basic principles of this world. Therefore the ‘Mar Thoma Cross’ is nothing but a deception of Satan.
Phil. 3:18-19: As I have often told you before and now say again, even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, their glory is in their shame.”
Crucifix alone is he Cross of Jesus Christ. The destiny of those who go after any other cross including the Mar Thoma Cross is eternal destruction of their souls.
Jn. 3:16: “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Jn. 3:14: “Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life.”

Notice that the above two verses have the same purpose (given at the end of the verse): to give us eternal life. But Jn. 3:16 talks about what GOD did to give us eternal life; Jn. 3:14 talks about what WE must do to receive eternal life: We must lift up the Son of Man on the Crucifix because for a strong faith which alone can save us, looking at the crucifix is absolutely essential just as it was for the Israelites to look at the serpent to escape physical death caused by the snake bites.
Our Demands:
1. Reinstate the Crucifix in all Syro-Malabar churches in the U.S. wherever the Bishop has installed it against the majority wish of the parishioners in the center of the sanctuary. Remove all ‘Mar Thoma Crosses from such churches including those on the Bhema and the Altar. These churches include Garland and the Cathedral Church in Chicago.
2. Stop brainwashing parishioners through classes conducted formal or informally both during and outside the Holy Mass homilies.
3. Stop all retaliation measures taken against those who stand for the crucifix and those who oppose the controversial ‘Mar Thoma cross’.
4. As Catholics, we must be given the freedom to have the Crucifix in our churches as the nearly 90% of the Catholics currently enjoy this freedom.
Our Agenda:
1. Conduct an ‘Occupy SMC Rally’ once in every two months for the first six months in the various Syro-Malabar communities throughout the U.S. If our demands are not met, then we will expand it to other Catholic centers such as the gates of American Bishop Houses and Conference Centers where American Bishops meet for various Conferences or big events.
2. Pursue other channels of protest and boycotts to be defined and selected as deemed fit.
3. After six months, make the protests on a monthly basis and also include other forms of protest including withdrawal of financial support to the churches, etc.

In the present Syro-Malabar Church, approximately 1% of the Catholics do not want the Crucifix (a small minority of the Syro-Malabar hierarchy and their cronies who are enticed by the crumbs that fall off their dinner tables). Both are sort of similar: difference is in the case of SMCC, it is the 1% that is imposing on the 99%, just the opposite of what is happening on Wall Street.

Dear Brother Tom,
You did it pronouncedly “with all humility and gentleness, with patience”; your reward will be great and you witnessed and proclaimed Christ yesterday. Every effort and suffering for the crucifix will never be unnoticed in heaven.
It is unfortunate that many Syro Malabarians in USA are working with few opportunist priests and the dirty bishop of SMC-Chicago, the SMC administration is a total failure. The diocese aim is to cheat and destroy the faithful and to make money be fabricating their own gospel. The Syro Malabar church is under attack within by few bishop and priests.
The defend of our Syro Malabar faith will continue and the ultimate win will be ours.

ങ്ങള്‍‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി സധൈര്യം നിസ്വാര്‍‍‍‍ത്ഥമായി
പൊരുതി ധനമോഹികളായ മാഫിയയുടെ
കൈകളാല്‍ ഹോമിക്കപ്പെട്ട ആ സന്യാസനി
യുടെ ജീവിതം കദനഭാരത്തോടു കൂടിയെ സ്മരി

പ്രവത്തികള്‍ ചെയ്യുവാനും മടികാണിക്കാത്ത
വിഷം കലര്‍‍‍‍‍ന്ന ഇന്നത്തെ സമൂഹം സി.
വത്സാ ജോണിനെപോലുള്ള വ്യക്തികളെ ഉ
ത്മൂലനം ചെയ്യുന്നതുവഴി ഭാരതത്തിലെ ഭൂരി
പക്ഷം വരുന്ന അവശജനങ്ങളുടെ സ്വപ്നം ത
കര്‍‍‍‍ക്കുകയാണുണ്ടായത്‌. സത്യംപറയുന്ന
വരെ വകവരുത്തുവാന്‍ സാധിക്കുമെങ്കിലും
സത്യത്തെ ഉത്മൂലനം ചെയ്യുവാന്‍ ആര്ക്കും
സാധിക്കുകയില്ല. അവര്‍ കൊളുത്തിയ ദീപ
നാളം ഇന്നത്തെ യുവതലമുറ ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങുമെ
ന്നതില്‍ യാതൊരു സംശയമില്ല. ഏതു രംഗ
മെടുത്താലും ഏല്ലായിടത്തും ഒരേപ്രക്രതമാ
ണ്. ചതി, വഞ്ചന, കൈക്കൂലി, ദ്രവ്യാസക്തി
ക്കും അധികാരത്തിനും വേണ്ടിയുള്ള മല്‍പി
ടുത്തം. ഭരണാധികാരികളും മതാധികാരിക
ളും ഒരു ഒരുപോലെയാണ് ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്.
കീഴില്‍ കിടക്കുന്നവരെ വിഡ്ഡികളാക്കുന്നു,
അവരുടെ അവകാശങ്ങള്‍ നിഷേധിക്കുന്നു.
അതേസമയത്ത് ഈ നേതാക്കാന്‍മാര്‍ സു
ഖലോലുപരായി ജീവിക്കുന്നു. ജനരോക്ഷം
എപ്പോഴാണ്‌ ആളികത്തുന്നുവെന്ന് ആര്ക്കും
പ്രവചിക്കുവാന്‍ കഴിയുകയില്ല. ചരിത്രത്തി
ന്റെ പഴയ ഏടുകളിലേക്ക്‌ തിരിഞ്ഞു നോക്കാ
തെ തന്നെ ഈ അടുത്ത ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ സം
ഭവിച്ച ലിബിയന്‍ ഭരണാധികാരി ഗദ്ദാഫിയുടെ
മരണം ഒരു ഉദാഹരണമാണ്‌. അവസാന
നിമിഷം ഓടയില്‍ കിടന്നുകൊണ്ട്‌ ആ സേ
ച്ഛ്വാധിപതി മാപ്പിനിനിരന്നു.ആയിരങ്ങളെ
കൊന്നൊടുക്കിയ ആ ഭരണാധികാരിക്ക്‌ മര
ണമെന്ന വിധിയാണ്‌ ജനങ്ങള്‍ നടപ്പിലാ
ക്കിയത്‌.
ഇന്‍‍‍ഡ്യക്ക്‌ സ്വാതന്ത്രം ലഭിച്ചിട്ട്‌ നീണ്ട അറു
പതുക്കൊല്ലം കടന്നു പോയി. ലോകത്തിലെ വ
ലിയ ഡെമോക്ക്രാറ്റിക്ക്‌ രാഷ്ട്രമെന്ന്‌ നാം
കൊട്ടിഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. അവിടെയാണ് മനു
ഷ്യാവകാശങ്ങള്‍‍‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി വാദിക്കുന്നവരുടെ
ജീവനും സ്വത്തിനും പുല്ലുവില കൊടുക്കാതെ
അഴിഞ്ഞാടുന്ന മാഫിയ സംഘങ്ങള്‍ തഴച്ചു

അഴിഞ്ഞാടുന്ന വ്യവസ്ഥിതിയിലേക്ക്‌ രാജ്യം
മാറിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. സാധാരണക്കാരനു നീ
തി ലഭിക്കണമെങ്കില്‍ എത്രയെത്ര കോടതിക
ള്‍ കയറി ഇറങ്ങണം. ഉണരാന്‍ കഴിയാതെ
മയങ്ങിപോയ ആയിരമായിരം ഗ്രാമപ്രദേശ
ങ്ങളും മുഴുപട്ടണിക്കാരായ ഗ്രാമവാസികളും അ
വരുടെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളും വെളിച്ചം കാണുന്നില്ല.

വാന്മാരാകണം. നാം ജീവിക്കുന്ന ചുറ്റുപാട്‌,
നാം ജീവിക്കുന്ന സമൂഹം ചെറുതോ വലുതോ
ഭേദമെന്യേ അവിടെയെല്ലാം മാറ്റങ്ങള്‍
സംഭവിച്ചാല്‍ ആ ചെറുതരംഗങ്ങള്‍ വന്‍തി
രകളായി മാറുമെന്നും രാജ്യം ഭരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടി
രിക്കുന്ന മാഫിയ സംഘംങ്ങള്‍‍‍ക്ക് അതു ഭീഷ
ണിയായിതീരുമെന്നാണ്‌ സി. വത്സാ ജോണി

കേന്ദ്രത്തിലെ വമ്പന്‍മാര്‍ എന്നിവരെ ക്ഷ

ള്ള മരണകേസുകള്‍, നിയ്മവിരുദ്ധമായി
പള്ളി പൊളിക്കല്‍ എന്നിവയെല്ലാം നിര്‍
വീര്യമാക്കുന്നതിന് ഈ രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരുടെ
സ്വാധീനവും അവിഹിതബന്ധങ്ങളും പ്രൊ
ത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടത് സഭാധികാരികളുടെ ആ
വശ്യമാണ്‌. അതിലുപരി ഈ സ്വാധീനം ഉപ
യോഗിച്ചു രാഷ്ട്രിയക്കാരെ പോലെ ദൈ
വജനത്തെ വിഡ്ഡികളാക്കി ചുഷണം ചെയ്യു
ന്ന മാഫിയാനയമാണ്‌ അവരും അനുകരിക്കു
ന്നത്‌. ക്രിസ്തു പഠിപ്പിച്ച സിദ്ധാന്തങ്ങളും ര
ണ്ടാം വത്തിക്കാന്‍ കൌണ്‍സിലിന്റെ പ്രബോ
ധനങ്ങളൊന്നും ഇവര്‍‍‍‍‍ക്കു ബാധകമല്ല. ദൈവ

I am outsider from a nearby state. Looking at a previously published picture of the Garland church altar,I can tell that it does not look like the altar of a catholic church. Why did the Garland parishioners let this happen?

HAS TO PRACTICE WHAT THEY PREECH.WE ARE SO AFRAID OF THESE LEADERS THAT WE EVEN ABANDON THE TRUTH OFTEN TIMES.WE IGNORE THE TRUTH.WE FAIL TO SEARCH OUT THE TRUTH .
WE FAIL TO UNDERSTAND IT IS GOD THAT WE NEED TO LISTEN TO ,IT IS GOD THAT WE NEED TO FOLLOW AND GOD IS THE ONLY "PITHAVU " AND NOT THESE BISHOPS. IT CLEARLY SAYS IN THE BIBLE.
