മുഷ്ക്ക്, ഡീക്ക്, തണ്ട് . പച്ച ഇംഗ്ലീഷില്‍ പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ arrogance.
പല പുരോഹിതരിലും ഞങ്ങളിത് കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാലും ഇത്രയുമില്ല.
ഒന്ന് രണ്ടാഴ്ച മുമ്പ് വീ. യൂദാ തദ്ദേവൂസിന്റെ തിരുനാള്‍ ദിവസം നമ്മുടെ വികാരി നടത്തിയ ഒരു announcement നെക്കുറിച്ചാണ് പറയുന്നത്.
"നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വേറെ നല്ലൊരു വികാരിയച്ചനെ കിട്ടുവാന്‍ പ്രത്യേകം പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുക." കുര്‍ബാനയ്ക്ക് മുമ്പും ശേഷവും വികാരി നടത്തിയ അര്‍ത്ഥം വച്ചുള്ള ഒരു announcement ആണ് ഇത്.
അസാധ്യകാര്യങ്ങളുടെ മധ്യസ്ഥനാനല്ലോ വീ. യൂദാ. ആ പുണ്യ വാനോട് പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുവാനാണ് അച്ഛന്‍ ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തത്. അതായത് അദ്ദേഹം, വിശ്വാസികളെ പോകട്ടെ, വീ. യൂദായെപ്പോലും വെല്ലു വിളിക്കുകയാണ്‌. മറ്റൊരു രീതിയില്‍ പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ അസാധ്യകാര്യങ്ങളുടെ മധ്യസ്ഥനായ പുണ്യവാന് പോലും തനിക്കിട്ടൊരു ചുക്കും ചെയ്യാന്‍ പറ്റില്ല എന്നാണ് അദ്ദേഹം പരോക്ഷമായി പറഞ്ഞത്.
ദൈവത്തിലും കര്‍ത്താവിലും പുണ്യവാന്മാരിലും സത്യമായും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പുരോഹിതന് പറയാന്‍ കൊള്ളുന്ന ഭാഷയാണോ ഇത്? ഇങ്ങനെയൊക്കെ തന്റെ ഉള്ളിലെ ചൊരുക്ക് ബാലിശമായി പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പുരോഹിതന്റെ ഹൃദയം എത്രയോ വിഷമയമാണെന്ന് ഏതൊരാള്‍ക്കും അനുമാനിക്കാവുന്നതേയുള്ളൂ.
മറ്റൊരു വിഷയം
പല കമ്മെന്റ് കാരും പറഞ്ഞൊരു കാര്യമുണ്ട്. ഞങ്ങള്‍ വികാരിയച്ചനെ കൂടുതല്‍ വിമര്‍ശിക്കുന്നതില്‍ കാര്യമില്ല. പ്രധാന പ്രതി അദ്ദേഹമല്ല. ബിഷപ്പാണ് എന്ന്.
ആലോചിച്ചു നോക്കിയപ്പോള്‍ സംഗതി ശരിയാണെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നുണ്ട്. അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഞങ്ങളുടെ തൂലിക-പീരങ്കിയുടെ ചക്രം അല്‍പ്പം തിരിക്കുവാന്‍ തുടങ്ങുകയാണ്. ഹെല്‍വൂഡില്‍ നിന്നും 23 ദശാംശം 11 ഡിഗ്രി പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ട് മാറി ഹെല്‍ മഴ്സ്റ്റ് ലോട്ട് ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഉന്നമിടുകയാണ്. അത്ര എളുപ്പത്തില്‍ ഇളകുന്ന സാധനമല്ല അവിടെയിരിക്കുന്നത് എന്നറിയാം.
ഇന്ന് കുര്‍ബാന കഴിഞ്ഞു വണ്ടിയില്‍ കയറിയപാടെ ഞാന്‍ ബിഷപ്പിനെ വിമര്‍ശിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തില്‍ ആസനസ്ഥനായിരുന്നു പ്രസംഗിച്ചതിനെപ്പറ്റി.
ഇത്തമ്മ ഉടനെ ചാടിക്കടിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു. "ഒന്ന് മിണ്ടാതിരി മനുഷ്യ. അദ്ദേഹത്തിനു സുഖമില്ലാത്തതു കൊണ്ടാണ്. നിന്നു പ്രസംഗിച്ചാല്‍ ബാലന്‍സ് തെറ്റും."
BP (എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ ഭാര്യയെ പേടി) ഉള്ളത് കൊണ്ട്‌ നേരെ പറഞ്ഞില്ല. എങ്കിലും മനസ്സിലോര്‍ത്തു. "അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ബാലന്‍സ് എന്നെ തെറ്റി! "

As already discussed in earlier comments, Church is almost always uninclined to accept the fault within its system. Church needs to first carry out a fact finding mission and then an extensive clean up job.
The institutions should be made more democratic and use of internet should be encouraged to register all members and priests and then allowing them to voice their concerns and greviences so that the wound can be healed before it becomes incurable.
Again, its not the priest our Bishop need to wake up and realize the current situation then take appropriate actions.
I started giving my piece of mind with some indecent words. And I feel relieved. (Read the last "Respected Article" Syro Voice Published)

I agree with many points and they are partially correct. But in a big community like us there could be issues.
1. Where the hell were you while the church was being built? There were precisely 51 meetings to discuss about the church and proceedings. I am sure you are one of the members who act like one Big and never paid a single dime to it. You were busy with your - kids and your wive's education beyond from a Nurse to a ---- (Still you think I do not know you). Shut up Man. It's enough.
All you do is cry and morn like a horney widow. You have never taken any responsibilities to make sure our church or parking lots were built the way you wanted.
I may not be happy with everything but in a group you got to be a team player.

`1. You go to church and help the authority to make things correct. Looks like you have world wide info and you can help many things. And I am sure Fr Antony is very receptive to ideas.
2. Don't bitch about the past. You are served with what you decerved.
3. Don't think you are doing some public service. You are not. Though people enjoy(Including me) your writing, if you can get one single public supporter, I would say you are a winner. And Punisher says you are a Big Zero.

I am very glad to see "Punisher" has joined the kindergarden for learning better language to express his thoughts. As you know it will take 12 years to get high school diploma. If you work hard and practice many in 12 years you will be able to preasent your thoughts with out abusive words. So, others can read with happiness. I hope Fr. Antony will pray for this every day..!
In my opinion, it doest matter, whether you paid money or not to address a common issue or bring an issue to others notice. Money is secondary in this case. If money is the only factor, then contribute a large amount, then you will be able to do anything in the chruch. May be thats what going on now..!
How old is our Bishop? Is he close to 75? 75 is the age all Bishop has to retire.
