- സംഗമത്തില്‍ പതിവായി സ്ഥാനം പിടിക്കാറുള്ള മറ്റൊരു ഗ്രൂപ്പിനെപ്പറ്റി ഒന്നെടുത്തു പറഞ്ഞില്ലെങ്കില്‍ അത് വലിയൊരു വീഴ്ചയായി മാന്യ വായനക്കാല്‍ വ്യാഖ്യാനിക്കും എന്നറിയാം. അത് കൊണ്ട്‌ അവരെ പ്പറ്റി രണ്ടു വാക്ക്. അമേരിക്കയില്‍ മലയാളി എഴുത്തുകാര്‍ക്കും, പത്ര പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ക്കും ഒരു കൂട്ടായ്മയുണ്ട്. മിക്കവാറും എല്ലാ ആഴ്ചയിലും എവിടെയെങ്കിലും ഏതെങ്കിലും എഴുത്തുകാര്‍ക്ക് സ്വീകരണം കൊടുക്കുന്ന ഫോട്ടോ കാണാം. പിന്നെ കേരളത്തില്‍ ഏതെങ്കിലും എഴുത്തുകാരന്‍ അന്തരിച്ചാല്‍ അനുശോചന യോഗം. അതിന്റെ ഫോട്ടോ. പക്ഷെ ഒരു കാര്യം എടുത്തു പറയേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഈ അമേരിക്കന്‍ എഴുത്തുകാര്‍- സാഹിത്യകാരന്മാര്‍ ഇത്യാതി പടച്ചു വിട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു കൃതിയും വായിക്കാനുള്ള ദൌര്‍ഭാഗ്യം ഈ ലേഖകന് ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല. ജോഷി വള്ളിക്കുളവും ജോയിച്ചന്‍ പുതുക്കുളവും അച്ചന്മാരെ സോപ്പിട്ടു എന്തെങ്കിലും സില്ലിയായി എഴുതുമെന്നല്ലാതെ മറ്റെഴുത്തുകാരോക്കെ സ്വന്തം ഭാവനയിലെ സൃഷ്ടികളാണ്.

You are very truly right on this matter. Our people are so much publicity seeking people. they have no other ability whatsoever. Expose please this kind of fraud people. You are doing a good job. does not matter what some people say. please put this people to shame.
Our holy bishop has problem only to stand up and preach, not to sit down and fly.

Have you noticed there is an association for every profession here in Chicago. We have nurses association, radiology association, respiratory association, post office employee association, cta employee association, tollway employee association, assumption collage assocication, pala association, kuttanad association. There are only a few.
Do you see any solution for our church parking problem? Anybody parking at preffered foods? Do we still have the shuttle bus? What about those empty buildings owned by the church and diocese? Pls wrie about these serious matters instead of silly things
I have a suggession. I hope you will take it positively and move on with it..
I do review your postings regularly and understand that your postings are 100% crediable.
Also, from your postings its clear that you are a very knowlegeable person. May I suggest you to either have a new Blog or a section for people who needs advise, help (I mean not financial) in general matters. Mainly for young people college admission process as well and essay etc. This will help a lot for mainly new immigrants. For adults home buying and mortgage, car buying and financing etc.
Also, whoever needs inputs they can post their requests and knowledgeable people like you can give their inputs too.
I hope you will consider this in the near future.

Your suggestion is a great one and a most useful one for our community. It is no secret that our community has been very reluctant to embrace any modern means of communication and use it for the betterment of society. I agree there should be a medium to exchange ideas, a platform to air opinions, etc.
This Blog, Syro-Malabar Voice is dealing with explosive issues, hence we wish to remain unknown. It is understandable. Like the great philosopher Nietze said "the revenge of the clergy is such as the one that the world has never seen". But someone like you who offered such a positive, creative, constructive suggestion, why do you have to remain anonymous? Who are you afraid of?
We can have a Blog about Jesus Christ. But our people are still going to post comments anonimously. They wouldn't even post a comment saying they "love Jesus" with their name under it. They wouldn't. That's what our people are.

When we write about priests & clergy, we must be careful. We did not choose them; God did, because He has a plan. They left everything: their parents, home; they are like us with emotions & feelings; they have none but us! No wife, no children. How many among us can live one week, for example, in such solitude, and without the embrace of our wives? Think about it.
They might have made mistakes; as humans, we all do! Let us support them and learn to love & respect them. Let us try to learn humility & gentleness from the Holy Child in the Manger. Let us try not to use obscene words & languages when we write. That only show how shallow we can be!

Take all matters positively.
Its a season of happiness. Like the previous Anonymous mentioned there are lots of drawback in a priests life.
But, its their choice and it should be used for the wellness of the community.
We should support our priests for all their positive actions and they should have the willingness to correct their wrong thought, actions. If they dont want to correct the wrong decision, then I dont think we need to support them regardless of the outcome of their plan and action.
If all priests were selected by God and they represt Jesus, then our church and community will be definitely a peaceful one.

Poor guy. Some people are like this. Especially mallus. They will never do anything good, never contribute their ideas or wealth to any good activities, and they will blame everything. They never see anything positive.
Comment "11" well taken.Its a positive attitude but the writer forgot one thing, making same mistake over and over is not an excuse,same way dividing the community is not an excusable action.Again they are humans with emotions and all but remember one thing they choose to be whatever they are because they want to be ,not because some one force you ok.So when you choose to be something, you are obliged to obey certain rules of that society ok.Lately you hear lot about priest sexually abusing children and all.so far you dint hear anything in India.Is it true? If you do an investigation and all people come out to tell their stories being victimized you will come to know 90% of priests in India are sexually abusing children and all. I have myself witnessed some abuse and shut my mouth for a good cause for our mission.Even here there are some priests in Syro Malabar like Fr.Thottuvelil ok.Even some priests in Chicago(with out mention names) spend hours and hours on the phone talking to girls ok.what they doing counseling .Why they don't come out of mission and go their way no one stop them.Why they are not doing it? Answer is very simple they get all freedom like they want same time they get respect and good income from church.Easy life.You spend lots of money to become a leader here they earn lots of money to become a leader.Again think why none of our kids don't want to become a priest.I talk to many many kids none like priest doing.I never mean to say this because I love being catholic but comment 11 force me do this don't make these kind of false statement any more otherwise I Myself come out and start telling the true stories about you all with clear evidence .I heard lots of priests saying some community leaders are after microphone and photos.let me ask this what priests doing when they get microphone they never stop.Bishop himself speak for hours on special days but no one understand a word including American born.I don't mean to humiliate him, but every one need to understand their limitations and act accordingly for the betterment of community. During Holly mass Bible preach supposed to be strictly about that days reading and and should not exceed more than 5 min .Is that they doing?Some of the priest don't even know what they talking about.They talk contradictory.During Holly week one priest call media's devils another one said just opposite to what Bible means.They need to prepare and read Bible before they talk.We all read the same Bible and we all are educated enough to understand Bible.They can say abusive language in the Holly altar its not a sin.But if any faithfuls say anything outside church its a sin."THINK" did "Good LORD" write 2 laws 1 for faithfuls and another one for priests? "THINK".Am really sorry if it hurts anyone i don't mean to hurt anyone.I just want to see united Syro Malabar Mission in USA with good leadership who can see and treat every faithfuls equally.
