കത്തനാരും കാര്യക്കാരും നാട്ടുകാരോട് സമാധാനം പറയണം. കുരങ്ങിന്റെ കയ്യില്‍ പൂമാല കിട്ടിയ പോലെ നാടുകാരുടെ കോടികള്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ തേച്ചു മുടിച്ചു. കര്‍ത്താവിന്റെ പേരും പള്ളിയുടെ പേരും പറഞ്ഞ്.
പള്ളിയുടെ മുഖവാരത്തു തന്നെയാണല്ലോ അച്ഛന്റെ മാളിക. ഞായറാഴ്ച 11 മണി കുര്‍ബാനയ്ക്ക് മുമ്പ് താഴെ പാര്‍ക്കിംഗ് ലോട്ടിലോട്ടൊന്നു എത്തി നോക്കൂ. കുഞ്ഞാടുകള്‍ നെട്ടോട്ടം ഓടുന്ന കാഴ്ച കാണാം. വണ്ടിയിടാന്‍ ഒരിടം നോക്കി ജനങ്ങള്‍ പിരളി പിടിക്കുന്ന കാഴ്ച.
ആരൊക്കെ എന്തൊക്കെ പറഞ്ഞാലും കേട്ടതായി നടിക്കാതിരിക്കുക. പ്രതികരിക്കാതിരിക്കുക. എല്ലാം ശുഭം എന്ന ഭാവത്തില്‍ ചുണ്ടിലൊരു മന്ദഹാസവുമായി അങ്ങനെ നടക്കുക. ഇതാണ് അധികാരികളുടെ നയം. കാരണം ജനങ്ങള്‍ മണ്ടന്മാരല്ലേ. എല്ലാം മറക്കും.
മനസാക്ഷിയുള്ള സമുദായ സ്നേഹികള്‍ക്കോ സഭാധികാരികല്‍ക്കോ ചെയ്യാന്‍ സാധിക്കുന്ന കടുംകയ്യാണോ ഇവര്‍ ഈ സമൂഹത്തോട് ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്? ഇതിന്റെ പാപം ഇവര്‍ എവിടെ കൊണ്ടുപോയി തീര്‍ക്കും? ഈ പള്ളിയുടെയും രൂപതയുടെയും പേരില്‍ നമ്മുടെ അധികാരികള്‍ ഇവിടത്തെ ജനങ്ങളുടെ കോടികള്‍ എത്ര പൊടിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നു ആര്‍ക്കെങ്കിലും എന്തെങ്കിലും കണക്കുണ്ടോ?
പള്ളിക്ക് കൂടുതല്‍ സ്ഥല സൌകര്യങ്ങള്‍ വേണമെന്ന കാരണം പറഞ്ഞ് ചുറ്റുപാടുമുള്ള കരമ്പരുടെ വീടുകള്‍ രണ്ടുമൂന്നെണ്ണം പൊന്നും വിലയ്ക്ക് വാങ്ങിച്ചു. എന്നിട്ടോ? ഇടിച്ചു നിരത്തി പാര്‍ക്കിംഗ് ലോട്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കാന്‍ പോലും സിറ്റി സമ്മതിക്കുന്നില്ല. ദേ, ഒരെണ്ണത്തില്‍ തൂപ്പുകാരന്‍ സുഖമായി താമസിക്കുന്നു. പിന്നെ മെത്രാന് വട്ടു കയറി 8 ലക്ഷം (കേട്ടു കേള്‍വി ) മുടക്കി ഒരു കെട്ടിടം വാങ്ങി. അത് ഒഴിഞ്ഞമ്പലം പോലെ കൊല്ലങ്ങളായി വെറുതെ കിടക്കുന്നു. കോഡ്‌ ശരിയല്ലാത്തതിനാല്‍ കാലെടുത്തു കുത്തുവാന്‍ സിറ്റി അനുവദിച്ചില്ല. ഇപ്പോള്‍ കേള്‍ക്കുന്നു സഹായ വിലയ്ക്ക് അത് ആര്‍ക്കോ വിറ്റെന്ന്. ഡോളര്‍ ലക്ഷം അഞ്ചാറു സീറോ മലബാര്‍ കുഞ്ഞാടുകളുടെ കണ്ണില്‍ കൂടി മിന്നായം പോലെ പോയെന്നാണ് കേട്ടറിവ്. അത് വാങ്ങിയത് പള്ളിയിലെ തന്നെ ഏതെങ്കിലും വീരന്മാരാണോ എന്നാണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ സംശയം. ആദ്യമേ മെത്രാന്റെ തലയില്‍ ആ കെട്ടിടം കെട്ടിവച്ച മാന്യന്മാര്‍ തന്നെയാകാം അതിപ്പോള്‍ തിരിച്ചു വാങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.
അധികാരികള്‍ ഓര്‍ക്കുക. പൊതുജനങ്ങളുടെ പൈസ കൊണ്ട്‌ നിങ്ങള്‍ ആറാട്ട്‌ നടത്തിയിരുന്ന കാലം കഴിഞ്ഞു. കുഞ്ഞാടുകള്‍ പ്രതികരിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു. പാര്‍ക്കിംഗ് പ്രശ്നത്തിനു ശാശ്വത പരിഹാരമുണ്ടാക്കുക. അതുടനെ തന്നെ വേണം താനും. നിശ്ശബ്ദത പാലിച്ചത് കൊണ്ട്‌ കാര്യമില്ല. എല്ലാം തൂത്തടിച്ചു കാര്‍പ്പെറ്റിനു താഴെ തള്ളാമെന്നു വ്യാമോഹിക്കേണ്ട. ഈ പ്രശ്നത്തിനു എന്ത് പരിഹാരമാണ് നിങ്ങള്‍ നിര്‍ദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന് അറിയുവാന്‍ ഇവിടുത്തെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ അക്ഷമരാണ്. തെഞ്ഞുമാഞ്ഞു പോകുന്ന ഒരു സംഗതിയല്ല ഇത്. പ്രശ്നം ഗുരുതരമാകാന്‍ തുടങ്ങുന്നതെയുള്ളൂ . കാരണവന്മാര്‍ പറയുന്നപോലെ: വടിയൊടിക്കാന്‍ പോയിട്ടെയുള്ളൂ!
ഇപ്പോള്‍ വിഡ്ഢി കോമരനെപ്പോലെ ഒരാള്‍ സിനഡ് ആണെന്നും പറഞ്ഞ് കാക്കനാട് പോയി കുത്തിയിരിപ്പുണ്ട്. അദ്ദേഹം അവിടെ എന്ത് മല മറിക്കലാണ് നടത്തുന്നത്? ഒഴുക്കത്ത് കുത്തിയ കഴുക്കോലുപോലെ ഇരിക്കമെന്നുള്ളതല്ലാതെ മറ്റു യാതൊരു ഫലവുമില്ല. അതും ഇവിടുത്തെ പാവങ്ങളുടെ പൈസ മുടക്കി. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പേരില്‍, സഭയുടെ പേരില്‍ എന്തിനീ പ്രഹസനങ്ങള്‍? ബിഷപ്പിന്റെ ഈ സര്‍ക്കീട്ടുകളുടെ കണക്കാരെങ്കിലും ചോദിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ. ആഴ്ച തോറും അമേരിക്ക നെടുനീളെ പാറിപ്പറന്നു നടക്കുകയാണ് ബിഷപ്പെന്ന നിഷ്ക്കുണന്റെ പണി. മിഷന്‍ ഉത്ഘാടനം. പള്ളി ഉത്ഘാടനം. ഈ ഉത്ഘടിക്കലല്ലാതെ ഇദ്ദേഹം സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സഭയ്ക്ക് എന്ത് ഗുണം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്?
ഈ മെത്രാനും രൂപതയും വന്നിട്ട് വടക്കേ അമേരിക്കയിലെ സീറോ മലബാര്‍ വിശ്വാസികള്‍ക്ക് എന്ത് ആത്മീയ നേട്ടം കൈവന്നിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നു ഒന്ന് ഇരുത്തി ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. പബ്ലിക്‌ എയ്ഡ് വാങ്ങി സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ചിലവില്‍ ജീവിക്കുന്ന ബെല്‍വൂടിലെ പാവങ്ങള്‍ ഇവരേക്കാള്‍ എത്രയോ മാന്യര്‍!

Please don't sign any papers for the church people. They will ask you to sign huge pledge amounts for building new churchs. It has fine prints in it to cheat you. They will ask you post dated checks for church. They will ask you automatic monthly money withdrawal from your bank account called "Parish Pay". Once they have your money they won't listen to you at all and will treat you like their slaves. They will tell you to shut up and its their place. All they want is more money from you. They will never be satisfied.
Please don't sign any papers with them. Find a way to maintain a church at the lowest cost with lowest obligation for you. If you can avoid this bishop and dioces thats the best. Go to a latin catholic church instead. Don't let this selfish people rule you and your children. Remember, they are trained to trap you.
The building near Chicago church bought for $890,000 now sold for $155,000 !!!!!!!! Someone must be held responsible. They can't do it to hard working people like us. They are not even leting people know what they are doing. Too much cover up involved. Give us our money back.
Let the voice be heard loud and clear! WE NEED CHANGE.

As our Bishop is silent on parking issue and many other issues I am suggesting following. Which I believe bishop will approve and bless with his whole heart.
The main problem of parking is too many people come to Church by Car.
1. People should either use car-pool or public transportation. This could save you money for Gas and depreciation for your valuable car.
2. In addition to these, parking lots should be reserved for all cars with 4 or more passengers. Any single drive cars should not be allowed in the church property.
As you are well aware that in America, even for kids living within a mile to 1 1/2 miles supposed to walk to school. Similarly, all those who live within 5 miles should walk to church. This is beneficial for your health too. As all of you are from Kerala, you all know that most of the people are walking to the church.
If any of these are not possible and you are able to speak, read and understand English, you may go to the nearest Catholic Church. However, you should not make any financial contribution there because they are not Syro Malabar. All your contributions should be submitted to Syro Malabar church, and then only any and all of your needs like Baptism, first communion, Wedding and funeral will be allowed by the church.
Regarding the $890,000 property purchase and is selling for $155000. Being a Syro Malabar member, you only have the obligation to contribute to the church regularly. It’s none of your business to watch over the shoulders of your church and Bishop. Bishop has the authority and ability to do whatever he wants with the money.
Some of the foolish people are saying that church is made with their money and support. They don’t understand that money is owned by the federal government. Its owner ship is only for the person or entity that holds it. It doesn’t matter whether you held that money for a little while, now it’s not in your hands or custody. The fact is now it is under the possession of Bishop. So, just like a devil don’t question your bishop.
By the way, you all call your vicar ‘Father’ and your Bishop ‘Pithave’. Both are the same meaning. When you call someone Father and use other adjectives you should remember that you are calling your father all those Adjectives. In addition to these, no one has the ability to select their father, so why do you want to select another father for your parish?
Again, if you want to have good spiritual life and a seat in heaven next to peter and St. Thomas you should support the disciples of St. Thomas which is your one and only Bishop Angadiyathu.

NOW, IT HAS REACHED UP TO A STAGE THAT PEOPLE HAVE TO WAKE UP AND COME OUT OF THEIR COCOONS. IT’S REALLY EMBARRASSING THAT WE SPEND SUCH A HUGE AMOUNTS (10 MILLION) FOR THE CHURCH AND STILL PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING. WHO REALLY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS SITUATION? I STRONGLY BELIEVE IT WAS THE SELFISH FOOLS IN THE CORE- COMMITTEE. WHERE ARE THOSE PEOPLE NOW? ARE THEY STILL CONTROLLING EVERYTHING!
THE SELFISH CPA’S ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS TRAGEDY. PEOPLE SHOULD REMOVE THEIR NAME-PLAQUES (CORE COMMITTEE) FROM THE NARTHEX IMMEDIATELY. IT WAS THEIR AGENDA TO BUILD A CHURCH WITH A HUGE BANK LOAN, WHICH PEOPLE WOULDN’T BE ABLE TO AFFORD LATER. THE END RESULT, ALL THE COMMUNITY WILL STICK ON TO THE SAME CHURCH FORE EVER. THAT CASE, IT’S EASY TO SELL THEIR BUSINESS. THE FIRST STEP THEY MADE, WATCH OUT THE NEW CHURCH BULLETIN, THESE SEMI-PREGNANT GUYS ARE GROWING RAPIDLY WITH OUR MONEY. THEY OCCUPIED A HUGE PORTION OF OUR BULLETIN. THE 50% OF THE NEW CATHEDRAL HAS BEEN BUILT WITH HUGE OFFICE BUILDINGS. THESE CPA’S ARE PLANNING TO MAKE A BIG COME BACK IN THE NEXT TERM AND PLANNING TO OCCUPY MOST OF THE OFFICE BUILDINGS (THEIR SECOND AGENDA).
HOW COULD THE CURIA SOLD THE PROPERTY FOR $150 THOUSAND, WHOM DID THEY DISCUSS THE SALE? NOW PEOPLE INCLUDING THE VOICE MUST COME OPENLY AND SHOW THE REAL PROTEST. EVERYBODY WILL SUPPORT THOSE MOVEMENTS. WE ARE READY TO MOVE IN FOR A PEACEFUL PROTEST UNTIL WE REACH A PERMANENT SOLUTION FOR PARKING AND MONEY MANAGEMENTS! A COALITION OF THE PEOPLE ARE PLANNING TO GATHER AT THE CHURCH SOON TO DISCUSS AND PROTEST, IN ORDER TO SHOW OUR FRUSTRATION TO THE AUTHORITIES. Your idea is good. Let people who live near the church walk. Also all the various committees who worked for building the new church, let them car-pool, or take the shuttle. Same thing with all the current members of various stupid committees. Let them show the commitment and service mentality by making this sacrifice for the church. Let the bishop himself lead by example, by walking from his house. May be his kitchen committee and Kaduppan and his team will follow him in a procession. The people are innocent in this stupid fiasco. They were cheated and they were not responsible. Let those responsible for this great failure pay for it. Who are you to tell me, I cannot come to church in my car by myself? We have 4 adults in my family, and if I want we all will come in separate cars. We have every right. So when you make suggestions make sure you don't piss off people like me. Understand?
Stop all your auto parish pay untill they resolve the parking problem. Don't pay them a penny.

We are the proud kids of our God fearing parents and members of our Syro Malabar church that is like our own home. However the Syro Malabar church in Chicago diocese under the current leader ship is a shame to all. The current leadership is in not in ally with the global catholic and in communion with Indian USA_Catholic in general.
After witnessing their behaviors as priests and bishop in USA, I lost the trust and credibility on them as our good shepherds. They are really parasites of the SMC community. The bishop cheated all of us. The proof is the cathedral church itself. The emotional stress of congregation while in the 9 million Dollars cathedral is really heart braking. The useless bishop converted our 9 million into a circus tent for den of thieves.
They are really spoiling us with cost of believers and mercy of Latin Church in USA and the US Governments liberal federal tax exemptions.
Community awareness to cleanse the ailing Syro Malabar presence in USA is the talk of all Syro Malabar Catholics.

Interesting to note the comment of sale of bank building which was bought a few years back and lying around like a haunted place for so long. Felt so sorry to see the place every sunday , while coming to church!!. Situations might have forced the athorities to sell it, but is it not the decency to inform the laymen whose financial power was also used to acquire the same place!!. What is the truth with the haunted bank place ?? Can somebody explain the truth !!

During last night I had a dream about meeting with Bishop regarding the parking issue. During the meeting I suggested following. He was very happy with my idea. He gave me a special blessing also promised that my picture will be displayed on every meter. However, I suggested that our Bishop’s photo is more suitable on every meter because every one will be cursing while inserting $5.00 or $10.00.
Bishop is thinking about installing a parking meter. Initially it will be only $5.00. This will help to generate some more fund to Bishop’s church. If $5.00 doesn’t reduce traffic, then it will be increased to $10.00.
Who every donates $100.00 per week, (This is inaddition to all the other commitment) will be provided a special tag to use for the next Sundays parking. This may also help to generate more fund.
Our Bishop was so excited with my great idea. If I give him more ideas like this to generate more fund, he will make me Shavaliyar of Syro Malabar. So, if any ff you have more ideas please contact me, I will collect your idea over few Drinks and pass on to Bishop as mine …

Six new bishops were appointed at Thamarasseri, Irinjalakkuda, Ramanathapuram and Mangalampuzha, diocese today evening.
The declaration was made at Rome, Syro Malabar council headquarter at Kakkanad Mount St Thomas and in their respective dioceses.
Thamarassery diocese chairman Fr. Remijuse Injananiyal would replace bishop, Mar. Paul Chittilappalli.
Palakkad diocese would be split into two and new diocese will be formed at Ramanathapuram. Dr George Alappat would be the bishop of new diocese Ramanathapuram.
Fr. Pauli Kannookadan will be appointed as the bishop of Irinjalakkuda.
Fr. Rafel Thattil, Fr. Dr. George Alappat, and Fr. Bosco Puthur will be appointed as the bishops of Thrissur, Palakkad, Mangalappuuzha respectively

I won't do that type mistake man. If I come to the church during the church construction time and try to help the community by giving some ideas and physical work, then I have to contribute something. Now I can blame everyone and I don't have to pay any single pennie. The best thing is I can come to church on every Sunday and have all benefits with someone's expense. hehehe
