കൊപ്പേല്‍ പള്ളിയില്‍ ഇന്നൊരു പ്രത്യക പാരിഷ് കൌണ്‍സില്‍ മീറ്റിംഗ് കൂടി. പ്രസ്തുത മീറ്റിംഗ് അജണ്ട ഒന്നും ഇല്ലാതെ വിളിച്ച് കൂട്ടുവാന്‍ ആയിരുന്നു പ്ലാന്‍ . പൊതു ജനവിമര്‍ശനത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്നു ചില അജണ്ടകള്‍ പെട്ടെന്ന് തല്ലിക്കൂട്ടിയാണ് മീറ്റിംഗ് കൂടിയത്.
മീറ്റിംഗ് കൂടിയ സ്ഥിതിക്ക് അല്ലറ ചില്ലറ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ഒക്കെ ചര്‍ച്ച ചെയ്തു. പൊതുയോഗം താമസിയാതെ കൂടാം എന്ന് തീരുമാനമായിട്ടുണ്ട്. നമ്മുടെ പുതിയ കൈക്കാരന്‍ എങ്ങനെ ഈ പൊതു യോഗത്തില്‍ പിടിച്ചു നില്‍ക്കും എന്ന് എത്ര ചിന്തിച്ചിട്ടും പിടി കിട്ടുന്നില്ല. നേര്‍ച്ചപ്പെട്ടിയില്‍ പൈസ വീഴാത്തത് അധികാരികളെ ആകെ കുഴച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. പൈസക്ക് വേണ്ടി അധികാരികള്‍ വേണ്ടി വന്നാല്‍ റെജിയെയല്ല, ക്ലാവര്‍ കുരിശ് വരെ വില്‍ക്കും. അതാണ്‌ ഇപ്പോള്‍ അവരുടെ ഗതി!
പ്രസ്തുത മീറ്റിംഗ് വളരെ പ്രധാനമായ ഒരു തീരുമാനം കൂടി എടുത്തു. ഹാളില്‍ കസേര ഇടുക, പള്ളിയില്‍ pews ഇടുക, അച്ഛന് താമസ മുറി തയ്യാറാക്കുക.

സജിയച്ചന്റെ കാലത്ത് ബിഷപ്പിന്‍റെ അനുമതി വേണമെന്ന നിഷ്കര്‍ഷതയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന അതെ പദ്ധതിക്ക് ഇന്നെന്തേ ബിഷപ്പിന്‍റെ അനുമതി വേണ്ട? കാരണം അന്ന്, അതായത് സജിയച്ചന്റെ കാലത്ത്, ആര്‍ക്കും ചക്കരക്കുടത്തില്‍ കയ്യിട്ടു വാരാന്‍ കിട്ടില്ലായിരുന്നു. വികാരിക്കും, ശിങ്കിടികള്‍ക്കും, ബിഷപ്പിനും കൂട്ടര്‍ക്കും. ഇന്ന് ഭരണകൂടം മാറി. പൊതു ജനങ്ങളുടെ സമ്പാദ്യം ഇന്ന് കാട്ടിലെ തടി പോലെയാണ്, അങ്ങാടിതേവരുടെ കുട്ടിയാനകള്‍ക്ക്. ഈ പദ്ധതിയില്‍ നിന്നും അടിവലിവായി തുകകള്‍ മാറുമെന്നു ഞങ്ങള്‍ തീര്‍ത്ത്‌ പറയുന്നു. പള്ളിയിലെ ഭക്ഷണത്തില്‍ ബാക്കി വരുന്ന എച്ചില്‍ വരെ പൊതിഞ്ഞു വീട്ടില്‍ കൊണ്ടു പോകുന്ന കൊച്ചമ്മമാരുടെ ഭര്‍ത്താകന്മാരായ ഇന്നത്തെ പള്ളി നേതാക്കളുടെ കൈകള്‍ പച്ച നോട്ടുകള്‍ കാണുമ്പോള്‍ തരിക്കില്ല എന്ന് ഞങ്ങള്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ല.

Why are priests from Chicago flying all over the contry to say Sunday mass? That is waste of money and inefficiant. There are plenty of zero malabar priests in every state. Why cant bishup ask them to say mass. I think the reason is this: The only work the dioseace priests are doing is saying sunday mass. So, if they ask other zero priests to say mass in their states, then the dioseace priests will be out of job. So, it is job security. But Fr.Kaduppan has job security because I heard he joined the Kanaya community in chicago. He is always there.
This dioseace is the most inefficiant organisation in every way - financially, spiritually, mangement etc.
