ലോസ് ആഞ്ചലസില്‍ നിന്നും ആരോ ഒരാള്‍ ഈയിടെ ഞങ്ങളോട് എഴുതി ചോദിച്ചു: ഫാ കട്ടക്കന്റെ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ കടുംപിടുത്തത്തെപ്പറ്റി ഞങ്ങളുടെ അഭിപ്രായം എന്തെന്ന്. അതായത് അദ്ദേഹം ബിഷപ്പിനെ വെല്ലുവിളിച്ച്, അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അനുസരിക്കാതെ, തന്‍റെ പള്ളിമുറി വിടാതെ നില്‍ക്കുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി.
ഈ വിഷയത്തില്‍ ഞങ്ങളുടെ നിലപാടിനെപ്പറ്റി ഈ അടുത്തയിടെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ എഴുതിയ എഡിറ്റോറിയല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ വായിച്ചു കാണുമെന്നു വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു.
എങ്കിലും പറയാതെ വയ്യ. ഫാ. കട്ടക്കലിന്റെ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ നിലപാടില്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ അത്യന്തം സന്തുഷ്ടരാണ്. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend, അതായത് എന്റെ ശത്രുവിന്റെ ശത്രു എന്റെ മിത്രം ." എന്നാണല്ലോ ചൊല്ല്. അതുകൊണ്ട് അദ്ദേഹം നമ്മുടെ മെത്രാസനത്തിലേക്ക് തന്‍റെ കാ‍ന്താരി മുളക് ആകോളം അരച്ച് തേയ്ക്കട്ടെ എന്നാണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥന.
പിന്നെ, ഫാ കട്ടക്കലിന്റെ ചില ഇടവകക്കാര് പറയുന്ന പോലെ, അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അങ്ങനെ ആട്ടിയോടിക്കാനുള്ള അധികാരമൊന്നുമില്ല. ആര് കൊടുത്തു അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന് നിങ്ങള്‍ പറയുന്ന ഈ അധികാരം? കേരളത്തിലെ നീങ്ങിയിരുന്നു തൂറാന്‍ കെല്‍പ്പില്ലാത്ത കുറെ ബിഷപ്പന്മാരോ? അതോ സ്വന്തം സഭയിലെ പുരോഹിതരെ വരുതിക്ക് നിറുത്താന്‍ കഴിവില്ലാത്ത മാര്‍പ്പാപ്പയോ? അമേരിക്കയില്‍ സ്വന്തം മിനിസ്ടി വിട്ടു പോകാന്‍ ഒരച്ചന് മനസ്സില്ല എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ ബിഷപ്പു കിടന്നു കുഴയുകയെയുള്ളൂ. ഇത് വെള്ളരിക്കാപ്പട്ടണമൊന്നുമല്ല. അതു ബിഷപ്പിനറിയില്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഫാ. കട്ടക്കലിനറിയാം . അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് ഫാ കട്ടക്കല്‍ ബിഷപ്പ് അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന്റെ ഗുരു ആണ് എന്ന് പറയുന്നത്. അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന് ഗുരുത്ത്വം ഇല്ലാതെ പോയി. അത്ര തന്നെ.

To all parishioners of St. Thomas SMC Church Santa Ana,
As some of you are already aware, Rev.Fr. Kattackal’s present stay at the rectory is against Bishop Mar Anagadiath’s order and without permission.
Fr. Kattackal’s closing speech on Sunday August 1, 2010 was misleading, against the facts and fabricated lies. The sad thing in his action is that he used the Church, Altar, Holly Garments and the moments after Holly communion to lie and mislead the faithful.
Diocese of Chicago confirmed, that Fr. Kattackal do not have Bishop Mar Angadiath’s permission to stay at the rectory after retirement. The standing order from Bishop to Trustees in this regards on July 27, 2010 is in effect and we all, including Fr. Kattackal are bound and obligated to follow Bishop’s order.
Being an employee, Fr. Kattackal was not eligible to receive food stamp. If his claim is true, he has committed federal crime.
Fr. Kattackal made an effort to scare the community and new vicar, by presenting Spanish speaking faithful living around the Church are potentially dangerous and violent.
Our new Vicar learned that Fr. Kattackal’s statement is baseless and incorrect. The faithful come to church for their spiritual needs as before.
We are not against to anyone or do not want to hurt anyone in words or in any action but we have the right to defend and protect the Church and authorities including the Bishop and the new Vicar. It is our best impression that Fr. Kattackal is in the process of fighting back with Bishop and legally establishing his residence at the rectory.
We are prepared to bring Fr. Kattackal back to justice, if he continues with his legal action against Bishop and Church.
We want Fr. Kattackal to follow Bishop’s order as a subordinate and end his rebellious operation.
Fr. Kattackal already realized that Spanish ministry is a losing battle. His new intention is to stay at the rectory and establish parallel ministry, around neigbouring cities like San Diego, Santa Maria, and Redlands etc. He is badly seeking support from few families now.
Aiding and Abating: We want to remind everyone that anybody supporting Fr. Kattackal in his effort in parallel ministry is also disobeying Bishop Mar Angadiath. The entire United States is under the Jurisdiction of Bishop Mar Angadiath in terms of ministry under Syro Malabar Rite. Fr. Kattackal is not authorized or allowed any Catholic ministry work in the US by Bishop Mar Angadiath or higher authorities.
We like your input in this regards. Please reply to this and advise us whether you are for or against to this move.

Whoever is supporting Fr. kattackal is not making the decision based on facts.These are the 12 reasons why Fr. Kattackal should be leaving orange county church.
1. Fr. Kattackal came here on a temporary assignment from Palai diocese for "ONLY" one year.
2. Bishop Angadiath never appointed FR. K as a vicar of our church.
3. Fr. Kattackal applied for and got the green card through bishop and he is not "OBEYING" the bishop now.
4. Fr. Kattackal never said an English mass for the youth here.
5. Fr. kattackal made financial mismanagement of the parish account.
5. Fr. Kattackals's parish election procedures were not according to diocesan directions.
6. Fr. Kattackal is 80 plus years old and very ineffective right now.
7. Fr. Kattackal never followed any diocesan procedures for record keeping .
8. Fr. Kattackal gave the sacraments to several without proper preparation.
9. Fr. Kattackal blessed many marriages with out knowing the parties background.
10. Fr. Kattackal you are a disgrace to all other good priests because of your "short cut" methods.
11. Fr. Kattackal you lied to the parish community several times during and after about what the bishop told you.
12. You tried to establish a ponzi scheme ( St. Alphonsa Group))
For all the above reasons and more you are disqualified to stay in Santa Ana Parish. Please vacate the rectory soon.. Thank you for the 10 horrible years of your service.

You are mixing the "claver cross" issue with Fr. Kattackal issue. Many of us supported your previous editorial asking Fr. Kattackal to gracefully retire.Fr. Kattackal has been here 10 years and had lot of issues using church funds, ministering to Spanish community while having only one Malayalam Mass a week etc. Fr. Kattackal is 80 years old and has been very ineffective as a pastor. So, the majority of the parishioners asked for a change. The bishop is right in asking Fr. Kattackal to retire.

We urge you to check the comments written by many of us about this issue before supporting Fr. Kattackal. As parishoners we wholeheartedly support our new vicar Fr. Augustine. We can provide some docments to prove the extent of damage Fr. Kattackal did to our parish. We are very patient about this until now.

I do not agree with your recent editorial. It was very disappointing. I could be wrong but in my opinion, you lost your credibility developed so far.
You said your enemies' enemy is your friend. I thought you are fighting against policies or wrong standing not against individuals.
I think that you do not get support any longer from people like my mentality.
Now I question your intention behind this blog. Please clear your stand. Are you against people or their action?
In my mentality, we should react and defend any wrong doig or disobedinence coming from any one, regardless of friend or enemy.
Remember, at the end of the day, we are all Christians and we should do everything with Guru's(Jesus)love.

Kattackal will speak his mind in public about what he feels, but Angady is an instigator, he will screw everyone from our back using some ass kissers seeking position and fame.
Angady's only job as a Bishop is to install Manikyan "bird stuck on cross" and cheela in every church in USA, think what else he did other than this?
Kattackal on the other hand did a lot for our St. Thomas SMC Church Santa Ana, in California.
One of the main reason for Kattackal asked to retire by bishop Angadi and kaduppan Roy is also that he support Crucifix only alter in our catholic church
