സിനഡ് പുസ്തകത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ ദയവായി ജനങ്ങള്ക്ക് വിതരണം ചെയ്യരുത് എന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം ഇടവക നേതാക്കളോട് അഭ്യര്‍ത്ഥിച്ചു. വായിക്കേണ്ട വര്‍ക്ക് അതു ഇന്റര്‍ നെറ്റില്‍ വായിക്കാമല്ലോ എന്നാണ് അദ്ദേഹം പറയുന്നത്.
ഫാ. ജോജിക്ക് എന്താണ് ഇക്കാര്യത്തില്‍ ഇത്ര പരവേശം? ജനങ്ങളെ അഞ്ജതയുടെ അന്ധകാരത്തില്‍ തടവുകാരായി നിറുത്താമെന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷ ഇപ്പോഴും അദ്ദേഹത്തിനും രൂപതാ നേതൃത്വത്തിനും ഉണ്ട് എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. ഏതായാലും പൊതു ജനങ്ങളുടെ സൌകര്യത്തിനായി പ്രസ്തുത ഭാഗം ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഒന്നുകൂടി പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുകയാണ്.

When I read about the crucifix and Mar Thoma Cross, I remember the fiction story of the donkey on which Jesus traveled to Jerusalem. We read in the Holy Bible, Luke 19:33-40
35. So they (the disciples) brought it (the donkey) to Jesus, threw their cloaks over the donkey, and helped Jesus to mount.
36. As he rode along on the donkey, the people were spreading their cloaks on the road;
37. and now as he was approaching the slope of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of his disciples began to praise God aloud with joy for all the mighty deeds they had seen.

The donkey, on which Jesus rode, thought that the crowd was singing Hosanna and other praises to the donkey. So the donkey was so happy, proud & told other donkeys when he went to Jerusalem, a big crowd was singing Hosanna & other praises to the donkey. The other donkeys did not believe it. So the donkey asked the other donkeys to go with him to show it in the next week, on the same day and in the same time. While other donkeys were watching, the donkey went through the same way among and through the people. The people shouted at the donkey and beated him to go away from their way. We know obviously the donkey was shameful and sad. THOSE MAR THOMA CROSS SUPPORTERS ALSO SHOULD STOP BELIEVING TO “THIS DONKEY” IN THE STORY. They should understand the crowd was singing Hosanna and other praises to Jesus not to the donkey. Jesus was riding on the donkey, that is why the crowd was singing Hosanna and other praises to Jesus, not to the donkey. Without Jesus on its back, donkey was beaten and pushed away from the crowd.

Believe cross without Jesus, is a curse and will have to undergo sufferings as the donkey without Jesus on it did.

ഇനി ഫ്ലോറിഡായിലെ മറ്റൊരു പള്ളിയില്‍ ആണെങ്കില്‍ കുറച്ചു നാളായി ഒരു വക ഒളിച്ചു കളിയാണ്. പെണ്ണാട് എന്നോ , മുട്ടാട് എന്നോ , പുലി എന്നോ ഒക്കെ ഉള്ള കോഡ് ഭാഷകള്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ചുള്ള ഒരു തരം ഒളിച്ചുകളി. ഈ ചേച്ചി ഇത് എത്ര കണ്ടതാ മോനേ! കാള വാല് പൊക്കുമ്പോള്‍ അറിയാം വിവരം. എന്താണ് സത്യം എന്നു വിശദമായിട്ട് എഴുതൂ. അന്നേരം അതിനുള്ള പ്രതിവിധിയും എഴുതാം.
നമ്മള്‍ പെണ്ണുങ്ങള്‍ ഒരു കാര്യം ചിന്തിക്കണം. നമ്മളുടെ അറിവോ , സമ്മതമോ കൂടാതെ ഒരു പുരുഷനും നമ്മേ തൊട്ടു കൂടാ. അത് പള്ളീല്‍ അച്ചനായാലും പരിശുദ്ധ പിതാവായാലും, സ്വന്തം ഭര്‍ത്താവായാലും , ഒരു വിട്ടു വീഴ്ച്ചയും പാടില്ല. ഒരു വനിതാ വിമോചന സംഘം പ്രവര്‍ത്തക എന്ന നിലയിലാണ് ഞാന്‍ ഇതെഴുതുന്നത്. ഞങ്ങളുടെ പള്ളീലെ അച്ചന്‍ കെട്ടിപ്പിടിക്കാന്‍ വന്നപ്പോള്‍ , ഞാന്‍ ബ്ലൌസില്‍ നിന്നും ഒരു പിന്‍ ഊരി സാരിയുടെ അടിയില്‍ ഒളിച്ചു പിടിച്ചു. കെട്ടിപ്പിടുത്തം മുറികിയപ്പോള്‍ അയ്യോ എന്ന് ഒരു നിലവിളി കേട്ടു. കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ച അതേ സ്പീഡില്‍ തന്നെ കെട്ടിപ്പിടിത്തം വിടുകയും ചെയ്തു. അതോടെ ഞാന്‍ ഉറപ്പാക്കി , എന്റെ പിന്‍ മര്‍മ്മത്തു തന്നെ കൊണ്ടു എന്ന് . പിന്നെ അതിയാന്‍ രണ്ടു മൂന്ന് ആഴ്ച്ചത്തേയ്ക്ക് മൂത്രമൊഴിക്കാന്‍ തന്നെ പെടാപ്പാട് പെട്ടു എന്നാണറിവ്. എന്തു കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ഈ രീതി പ്രയോഗിച്ചു കൂടാ. നമ്മുടെ ശരീരവും അതിലെ വിലപ്പെട്ട അവയവങ്ങളും സംരക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടത് നമ്മള്‍ സ്ത്രീകളുടെ കടമയല്ലേ? ഈ പുരുഷന്മാര്‍ , അത് അച്ചന്‍ ആയാലും കെട്ടിയോന്‍ ആയാലും , എല്ലാം ഒരു വക വിത്തു കാളകളെ പോലെ ആണ്. ആക്രാന്തവും ആക്രമണവും . സോഫ്ടായിട്ടുള്ള ഒരു സമീപനം അവര്‍ക്ക് അറിയില്ല. വിവരദോഷികള്‍.

Why not what vestment a priest should wear, what prayers should he read, what songs should he sing..how he should say the mass...when should we kneel... I was brought up in bhopal and not used to these verstments. I like Achen wearing latin vestments. Can I ask my dear coppel freinds to help me about it.

The changes in mass or structure of the church or the re-awakening of marthoma cross or curtain all part of these changes..
People of south who have seen similar things in malanakara churches or orthodox churches accepted the changes faster than those in north. As change is always something hard to accept for EVERYONE.
But "change" was necessary for mass to be said in malayalam as it was in syriac or latin before...

All cross are venerable. But we need an identity. We and our kids have to have some identity as marthoma christians. Other than that, there should be no difference in piety whichever cross you put. eucharist is much more important than the cross.Like Sun and a lamp. So what's the point in all these fight??

What could he be referring to when he said, "do this in memory of me"?
In the old days there used to be a sacrifical lamb. Those who assembled to pray and participate in the sacrifice completed their participation by eating the sacrificial meal.
In the last supper Jesus used bread and wine. He said he is the sacrificial lamb, and his life will be given in place of a lamb. His desciples ate the bread and completed the symbolic sacrifice. When we do that in his memory, we should be thinking of the real sacrifice that took place shortly after the last supper of Jesus. That is what He wants us to do in his memory - remember him, and he sacrificing himself for us.
So, now, where should the crucifix be placed, since it reminds us of the sacrifice he made for us?

Cardinal Varkey Vithayathil wear Marthoma cross on his "Kappa". So if it is such a satanic thing, then he would not do it. Please check out the official symbol of 33 dioceses of Syro Malabar Church. most of them has marthoma cross. Look at other eastern rites like malankara chruch, byzantine chrch.. Their crosses resemble marthoma cross....
Leave the Garland church alone....
But please keep fighting in Coppel, because we need some fun...
We care more about unity and obedience to the bishop than the cross... Cross is just a symbol. We go to church for eucharist, not for cross..If we are so much in need of crucifix to feel like praying, we buy one and keep it at home. All cross are venerable.
