ഏതൊരു പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിലും ചില കീടങ്ങള്‍ എപ്പോഴുമുണ്ടാകും. അതുപോലെയാണ് ഈ പൌവത്തില്‍ മെത്രാനും അങ്ങാടി മെത്രാനും ഈ ജോജിയച്ചനും. സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സഭയിലെ കീടങ്ങളാണവര്‍. താമസം വിനാ അവര്‍ പുറത്തുപോയിരിക്കും. അവരെ അനുസ്സരിക്കാന്‍ നമ്മള്‍ക്ക് യാതൊരു ബാധ്യതയുമില്ല. വിഗ്രഹാരധനക്ക് പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഇവരെ അനുസ്സരിക്കണമെന്നു നല്ലമനസ്സുള്ള ആരും പറയില്ല. നമ്മുടെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ ഓര്‍ത്തെങ്കിലും ഇവരുടെ വലയില്‍ വീഴരുത്. നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്തിക്കുക. ഒരു പൊതുയോഗത്തില്‍ നമ്മളെല്ലാവരും കൂടി ഒരു തീരുമാനമെടുത്തു. രണ്ടാഴക്ക്‌ ശേഷം വീണ്ടുമൊരു പൊതുയോഗം യാതൊരു നടപടിക്രമങ്ങളും പാലിക്കാതെ വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടി നമ്മളെ തമ്മില്‍ തല്ലിച്ചിട്ടു നമ്മള്‍ക്ക് പുല്ലുവില പോലും കല്‍പ്പിക്കാതെ ഈ പാതിരിയുടെതായ ഒരു തീരുമാനം നമ്മളില്‍ അടിച്ചേല്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നു. ഇതെന്താ വെള്ളരിക്കാപ്പട്ടണമാണോ? നിങ്ങള്‍ പറ.

ക്രുശിത രൂപമാണോ നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് വലുത്? അതോ ഭാര്യയുടെയും മറ്റു ചിലരുടെയും വാക്കുകളോ? നിങ്ങളുടെ സമ്പത്താണോ വലുത്, അതോ ക്രുശിത രൂപമാണോ വലുത്? നിങ്ങളുടെ ജോലിയാണോ? അതോ ക്രുശിത രൂപമാണോ വലുത്? നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളാണോ വലുത് അതോ ക്ലാവരോ? ക്രുശിത രൂപമോ അതോ ജോജിയച്ചനോ? അങ്ങാടിയോ ക്രുശിത രൂപമോ? പള്ളിയിലെ കച്ചിറ പെറുക്കുന്ന ജോലിയാണോ അതോ ക്രുശിത രൂപമാണോ വലുത്? വിഗ്രഹമാണോ അതോ ക്രുശിത രൂപമോ? നിങ്ങളുടെ ബിസിനസ്‌ ആണോ അതോ ക്രുശിത രൂപമാണോ വലുത്? അന്ധവിശ്വാസമാണോ അതോ ക്രിസ്തീയ വിശ്വാസമാണോ വലുത്? കള്ളന്‍ കിടന്ന കുരിശാണോ അതോ ഈശോ കിടന്ന കുരിശാണോ നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് വേണ്ടിയത്? ജീവിതമോ? മരണമോ? ഏതാണ് നല്ലത്? സ്വര്‍ഗമോ നരകമോ? ഉണ്ടോ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കിതിനൊക്കെ ഒരു ഉത്തരം തരാന്‍? ഒന്നാലോചിച്ചു നോക്കണം.
ഗാര്‍ലന്‍ഡിലെ പല ഇടവകക്കാരും പലപ്പോഴായി ഇങ്ങിനെ പറയുന്നത് ഞാന്‍ കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. "എനിക്ക് ഏതു കുരിശാണെങ്കിലും കുഴപ്പമില്ല എന്ന്"!! പിന്നെ ചിലരിങ്ങിനെ പറയുന്നതും കേട്ടു. "എന്‍റെ ഭാര്യ പറഞ്ഞു പ്രശ്നത്തിനൊന്നും പോകണ്ട, അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ അമ്മ പറഞ്ഞു കുഴപ്പത്തില്‍ ചെന്ന് ചാടേണ്ട എന്ന്. അതുകൊണ്ട് എനിക്ക് ക്ലാവര് കുരിശാണെങ്കിലും കുഴപ്പമില്ല ക്രുശിത രൂപമാണെങ്കിലും കുഴപ്പമില്ല".
അതായത് ഈ രണ്ടുംകെട്ടവര്‍ (ആണാണോ പെണ്ണാണോ എന്നറിയാത്തവര്‍) ചിന്തിക്കുന്നത് ക്രുശിത രൂപത്തിന് വേണ്ടി നിലകൊണ്ടാല്‍ ഭാര്യ പേടിപ്പിക്കും അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ പിണങ്ങും. കുടുംബത്തില്‍ പ്രശ്നമുണ്ടാകും .സുഹൃത്തുക്കള്‍ പിണങ്ങും. അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ സ്വന്തം ബിസിനെസ്സ് തകരും എന്നൊക്കെ. അതാണോ സത്യം? ഒരു നിമിഷം നിങ്ങള്‍ ഒന്നാലോചിച്ചു നോക്കുക. ഇതാണോ നിങ്ങളെ നിങ്ങളുടെ മാതാപിതാക്കളും സഭയും പഠിപ്പിച്ചത്? ഇതാണോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ക്രിസ്തീയ വിശ്വാസം? ക്രുശിത രൂപത്തിന് വേണ്ടി വാദിക്കുന്നവര്‍ മുഴുവന്‍ കുഴപ്പക്കാരാണോ? അവര്‍ ഈ സമൂഹത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വൃത്തികെട്ടവരാണെന്നാണോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യയും സുഹൃത്തുക്കും പറയുന്നത്? എന്താണ് ശരി? ഒരിക്കലെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ? നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഏതു കുരിശു വെയ്ചാലും കുഴപ്പമില്ലായിരിക്കും. പക്ഷെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കിഷ്ടമാണോ നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെ കൊണ്ട് ഈ ക്ലാവര് കുരിശിനെ ആരാധിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്? കര്‍ത്താവില്ലാത്ത കുരിശു കണ്ടാല്‍ കള്ളന്മാര് (ഈശോയുടെ ഇടതും വലതും കിടന്ന) കിടന്ന കുരിശല്ലെന്നു നിങ്ങളെങ്ങിനെ വിശ്വസിക്കും? അത് കര്‍ത്താവ്‌ ഉയിര്‍തെഴുന്നേറ്റ കുരിശാണെന്ന് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കെങ്ങിനെ അറിയാം? പീഡാസഹനമില്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഉയിര്‍പ്പെങ്ങിനെ മഹത്വവല്‍ക്കരിക്കപ്പെടും? നിങ്ങളെന്തിനു നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെ വിഗ്രഹാരാധന പഠിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ കൂട്ടുനില്‍ക്കുന്നു? തൂങ്ങപ്പെട്ട കുരിശിനു വേണ്ടി നിലകൊണ്ടാല്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളുടെ, കുര്‍ബാന പുസ്തകം എടുത്തു കൊടുക്കുന്ന പള്ളിയിലെ ജോലി , അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ചവറു പെറുക്കുന്ന ജോലി പോകുമെന്ന് നിങ്ങള്‍ ഭയക്കുന്നു. ശരിയല്ലേ? ഇതാണോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ക്രിസ്തീയ വിശ്വാസം? നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് തോന്നുന്നുണ്ടോ സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സഭയിലെ മുപ്പതില്‍പ്പരം മേത്രാന്മാരില്‍ നാലോ അഞ്ചോ മെത്രാന്മാര്‍ പറയുന്നത് മാത്രമാണ് ശരിയെന്നു? അതായത് പണത്തിനു വേണ്ടിയും സ്ഥാനമാനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടിയും മാത്രം ജീവിച്ച പൌവത്തില്‍ മെത്രാനും കൂട്ടരും പറയുന്നത് മാത്രമാണ് ശരിയെന്നു? ബാക്കിയുള്ള മെത്രാന്മാര്‍ പറയുന്നതൊന്നും ക്രൈസ്തവ വിശ്വാസത്തിനു നിരക്കുന്നതല്ലെന്നാണോ നിങ്ങള്‍ വിചാരിക്കുന്നത്? അതാണോ ശരി? ചിന്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ നിങ്ങള്‍? വായിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ നിങ്ങള്‍ ഈ ഭീകര ഷെയ്പ്പുള്ള താമര കുരിശെവിടെനിന്നു ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചു എന്ന്? ആര് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു? ഏപ്പോള്‍ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു? തൂങ്ങപ്പെട്ട കുരിശിനു വേണ്ടി പരസ്യമായി നിലകൊള്ളാന്‍ പോലും കഴിവില്ലാത്ത നമ്മള്‍ ഏവിടുത്തെ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളാണ്? അത്രയെങ്കിലും ത്യാഗം ചെയ്യാന്‍ കെല്‍പ്പില്ലാത്ത നമ്മള്‍ ഏങ്ങോട്ടാണ് നമ്മുടെ മക്കളെ നയിക്കുന്നത്? തൂങ്ങപ്പെട്ട കുരിശിനു വേണ്ടി പരസ്യമായി ഒരു അഭിപ്രായം പറയാന്‍ നട്ടെല്ലില്ലാത്ത നമ്മള്‍ ഉടലോടെ സ്വര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ പോകുമോ? നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെ ഒരു ABCD (American Born Confused Desi ) ആയിട്ട് വളര്‍ത്താനാണോ നിങ്ങളുടെ പരിപാടി? നിങ്ങള്‍ പറ ഈ ലോകത്ത് ഏതെങ്കിലും സാമാന്യ വിവരമുള്ള മനുഷ്യന് ഈ കുരിശിനെ വണങ്ങാന്‍ സാധിക്കുമോ? നിങ്ങള്‍ മരിക്കാന്‍ നേരത്ത് ഈ ക്ലാവര് കുരിശിനെ ഓര്‍ക്കുമോ അതോ ക്രുശിത രൂപത്തെ ഓര്‍ക്കുമോ? പറയാമോ നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഉത്തരം?

യേശുവില്‍ പ്രിയ സഹോദരങ്ങളെ , നമ്മുടെ കത്തോലിക്ക സഭ ഒരിക്കലും നന്നാകുമെന്ന് ആരും കരുതണ്ട . കാരണം divine ചാനലില്‍ ഞാനൊന്ന് വീഷിക്കുകയുണ്ടായ് , അച്ഛന് പറഞ്ഞത് ഇതാണ് . അഭിഷ്ക്തെര്‍ എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ പവുരോഹിത്യം സ്വീകരിച്ച എല്ലാ പുരോഹിതരെയും അനുസരിക്കണം എന്നാണു . അവര്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി പ്രാത്തിക്കണം എന്നാണു ഉത്തരവ് . അവര്‍ വിശുധരായ് തീരും എന്നുകൂടി പറഞ്ഞു . അവര്‍ക്ക് തെറ്റ് പറ്റാം , കാരണം അവരും പാപികളുടെ കുടുംബത്തില്‍നിന്ന് വന്നവരാണ് എന്ന് . ഈ പൌരോഹിത്യം അല്ലങ്കില്‍ അഭിഷ്ക്തര്‍ എന്ന പദത്തിന് ഒരു വിലയും ഇല്ലേ ? . പണ്ട് പൂര്‍വികര്‍ പറയും കക്കും തോറും നശിക്കും , നശിക്കും തോറും കക്കും എന്ന് ! . കര്‍ത്താവായ ഏശുവിനു രണ്ടാംവരവ് ഇവരായിട്ടു ബ്ലോക്ക് ചെയ്യാനാണോ പ്ലാന്‍ , മിശിഖാ വന്നിരിക്കും . കോപ്പെളിലെ ബ്ലാ ബ്ലാ യുടെ കോപ്പേ കോപ്പേ വിളിയും അവിടെനടന്ന ബെഹളയും കാണുവാനിടയായ ഒരു വ്യക്തി എന്ന നിലയില്‍ എഴുതിയതാണ് ഞാന്‍ . ഇവനെ ചമ്മട്ടികൊണ്ടു അടിച്ചു പള്ളിക്ക് പുറത്താക്കണം . വയസു 70 കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടും കര്‍ത്താവായ യേശുവിനെ അറിയാത്തവന്‍ എങ്ങനെ അഭിഷേക്ത്തനാകും ? . നുണകള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു പരത്തി അതും അല്ത്താരയില്‍ നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് ഇവനെങ്ങനെ ഒരഭിശേക്ത്തനാകും . നാട്ടില്‍ നിന്ന് വന്ന ഒരു ഫോണ്‍ എടുത്ത അച്ഛന് അതായിത് divine - ല്‍ നിന്നും ഇന്നത്തെ TV - ല്‍ പറഞ്ഞതാണ് അമേരിക്കയിലെ ഒരു പള്ളിയില്‍ വികാരിയാണ്‌ എന്‍റെ സഹോദരന്‍ , അവനു തെറ്റുപറ്റി അതുകൊണ്ട് അച്ഛന് പ്രത്യേഹം പ്രര്‍ത്തിക്കണം എന്ന് . പറഞ്ഞതോ സ്വൊന്തം സഹോദരി . അതും അമേരിക്കയില്‍ . എല്ലാവരും ഒന്നോര്‍ക്കണം കര്‍ത്താവിനെ മറന്നു ജീവിക്കാതിരിക്കുക , അവനാണ് നമ്മുടെ സര്‍വസവും . നാടോടികള്‍ പലരും വരും , കഴിഞ്ഞ ആഴ്ചയിലെ പോലെ പല ക്ലാവര് രോഹികളും വന്നുകൊണ്ടേയിരിക്കും , നമ്മള്‍ അതിലൊന്നും വിഷമിക്കണ്ട കാര്യമില്ല . നമുക്കാവിശ്യം ഈ കോപ്പെളിലെ ബ്ലാ ബ്ലാ നാറിയെ ഇവിടെന്നു ഓടിക്കുക എന്നതാണ് . അമ്മ അമ്മ എന്ന് വിളിച്ചു അവിട്ടില്‍ കൈയിടുന്ന അവന്റെ സ്വഭാവം ആരും അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നാണു ആ നാറി കരുതുന്നത് ! . കോപ്പേ കോപ്പേ എന്ന് അവന്റെ ചത്തുപോയ അപ്പനെനെയും അമ്മയെയും കുഴിച്ചിട്ടടെത്തുപോയി വിളിക്കട്ടെ ! കോപ്പെളില്‍ അവന്‍ കൂകണ്ട , കോഴിപൂവന്‍ വേറെയുണ്ട് . കോപ്പേ കോപ്പേ കോപ്പേ അവന്റെ അമ്മേടെ കോപ്പേ ?????,!!!!!!.

kaldaaya and protestants want to be give more importance to the Mar Thoma Cross by increasing the importance of the Resurrection and to decrease the importance of the Crucifix by speaking disparagingly about the Crucifixion and death of Jesus.
Fr. Joji and the priest who gave the Easter message in Coppell have their minds stuck only on one thing – to implement their claver agenda at all costs.
Christ's crucifixion and death is the foundation of our faith which will make us worthy for our own resurrection. If we do not resurrect to be with Christ, Christ's own resurrection does not mean anything for us.

There are so many Christians who don't have crucifix are leading a christian life based on Scripture. They are leading a sacramental life too. From this, we should assume that Crucifix is not a requirement for salvation.

Biblical Answers to Tough Questions from the Parishioner in Garland – Tom Varkey
I am a firm believer in whatever God says in His Word including what we read in 1 Cor. 2:25: “The foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength.” With that being said, I like to offer the following answers to the questions raised by the Garland parishioner in the context of standing up and fighting for the Crucifix. They are not easy answers but who said living a Christian life is easy? But they are the best answers and the correct answers because they come from God.
First of all, the parishioner seems to be lost in the dilemma of whether to stand up for the Crucifix or to face opposition from his wife and others because of his stand for the crucifix? His wife’s argument is paraphrased in her conclusion that going through all these troubles and difficulties all in the name of the Crucifix is not worth it and therefore don’t bother about what type of cross they install in the church. And the husband feels threatened by the fear that he is going to be in big trouble since his wife feels strongly the need to stay out of the battle for the Crucifix. In Gal. 6:14-16 we read: “May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ … what counts is a new creation. Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule …” The cross of Jesus Christ or the Crucifix according to this passage is what leads one to become a new creation which is the only way to obtain total peace by receiving the mercy of God through the forgiveness of our sins. One who is not able to accept and boast and cling to the Crucifix as the instrument of salvation can never hope to experience the mercy of God and enjoy the peace that can come to him by becoming a new creation in Christ Jesus.

You can take short cuts and call yourself a Christian by going to church, reciting prayers, etc. etc. but nothing can come even remotely close to becoming a true Christian by becoming a new creation in Christ by embracing His cross, the Crucifix. Now if anyone including your wife, brother, Fr. Joji or your Bishop tries to tell you otherwise, you should not listen to him or her. Jesus tells us that if we love anyone more than Him is not worthy of Him. In Lk. 9:24 He makes it very clear: “Whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.” So the question is very clear: “Do you want to follow what others say in which case you may think you are saving your life [but you will be losing it according to Jesus] or you want to stand up against what they are saying [in which case you will be saving it according to Jesus]?” No wonder we read in Dt. 13:6-9: “If your very own brother or your son or daughter or the wife of your love, … entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known), … do not yield to him or listen to him.” If we do listen to such people whoever they may be, we will lose our soul as Jesus says in the above passage.
There are people in Garland and elsewhere who have told me that because of their business connections with those who stand for the Mar Thoma Cross idol, they cannot cross over and join those who stand up for the Crucifix. My answer to them is this. When Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver, he thought he was doing the right thing and gaining a lot. But as we read in Mt. 27:3-4 he soon realized that those 30 pieces of silver were nothing in comparison with what he lost – losing Jesus Christ and all He stood for. In the same way, if we betray the Crucifix which will be the same as betraying Jesus Christ himself, we will be losing our salvation, heaven and everything else that matters in our life. No wonder in Mt. 12:30 Jesus says: “He who does not gather with me scatters.” No matter what we achieve by giving up Christ and His Crucifix is no achievement at all. We may not realize it now just as Judas did not realize it at the time he betrayed Jesus and received the 30 pieces of silver from the Jews as the price for selling Jesus. Even if we receive a million dollars for giving up on the Crucifix it will be nothing. We may think it is worth, but a day will come when we will be convinced that it was not.

In conclusion, let me tell you that in many cases the one who stands against you in your stand for the Crucifix may be your wife. In this case, in order to ensure peace and harmony in the family, is it OK to abandon the Crucifix because you don’t want to be at odds with your wife? The answer is a whopping “NO” based on the passage we saw in the beginning. No wonder we read in Eccl. 7:26: “I find more bitter than death the woman who is a snare, whose heart is a trap and whose hands are chains. The man who pleases God will escape her, but the sinner she will ensnare.” I know that it is easier said than done to go against what your wife says when your wife is not supportive of the Crucifix because of all the politics surrounding it and the troubles you have to go through. But the truth is that even if she stands against it, you should not abandon the Crucifix because that is a fatal mistake. If she turns against me because of her indifferent position towards the Crucifix, I am obligated to still love her just as Christ loved the Church and be willing to suffer all the pains and inconveniences and hatred that she may have against me. This is the reason why Paul tells us in 1 Cor. 7:23: “… The time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they had none; those who mourn, as if they did not; …”
If my wife opposes me because of stand towards the Crucifix, my commitment to Christ is such a priority of the highest order that I should live in such a way that I should not consider that as a factor to pull back from my adoration and commitment to the Crucifix. But I know what you are going to say – “it is easy for you to say that”. Well, brothers, I never said that my answers are going to be easy. But they are the right answers because they are from the lips of God. This is what Jesus means when He says in Lk. 9:25: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” It is not easy, but as we read in Gal. 6:16, if we follow this rule we will enjoy perfect peace in our lives [in spite of all our sufferings] and we will receive mercy and forgiveness or our sins from Jesus Christ and we will get to spend eternity with Him in heaven.
I am sure that is enough incentive for you to stand up for the Crucifix no matter who may be against you [including your wife]. Hope these answers were of help to answer some of the questions that many of you who stand behind me in the battle for the Crucifix both in Garland and elsewhere in the Syro-Malabar Church. The opposition you face may be crushing you; but as Paul tells us, the troubles in this world are nothing in comparison with the glory that is awaiting us in heaven. May God bless each and every one of you who fight for the Crucifix whether in Garland or anywhere else within the Syro-Malabar Church.
