What are you gaining from this blog? You are making people confused and dragging them out of their beliefs, faith and spoiling their lives. You may have to regret once in your life time. That is the lesson history teaches us. Why bring the curse on you and your future generation? When you pull a believer away from God, you are commiting something that the children of that person will never forget and forgive in life. Truth shall be revealed. No one can ever hide behind the masks or pretence. Whatever mistake you are standing against( you are saying there is a mistake that you are rallying against)you think it is, who are you to utter the judgement??? Since when you forgot why we are all here? To live.to work and live for our families? Since when your priorities have changed? life is short and once.Why spoil it? Enjoy the life with your families. As far I am concerned this site is giving real voice of the believers and some of the contents are more than the homily from the church by priests and Bishop and are real facts.
Unbiased comments, concerns and real voice you will get only from blog site like this and not from the media. Did you ever heard about the news of the torn of the VEIL of the church in the local Malayalam Sangamam, No. You might have read unimportant news in the local media.

Why there was no VEIL in the old church?
Could you ever experience any holiness inside cathedral church?
The Altar of the church looks like a circus tent with shower curtain; I am very much offended while I see that ugly setup. The Altar is the most important area of the church, any why you are not voicing against the church authorities in this matter?
While he saw atrocities inside the temple, Jesus himself shattered the unholy Temple elements and warned the priests. We are also called for that same reason and to lift HIS MIGHTY NAME only and voice our concern to those who blocks His name.
People voice is biggest voice and do not stamp them “as against the church”.
If you log onto current political sites you can see many blog enabled sites with comments. For example there are 56 million hits in the blog site for one of the presidential candidate only from BLOG sites.
We need our church back into the right order. We need our priests and Bishop: of the people, for the people and by the people, otherwise nobody will consider them religious.
This blog site is very useful and it is bringing scenes and undisclosed agenda behind the church and curtain. This Church is misusing, confusing and diverting its believers from their faith. Let the believers express their concern. Why it is hurting you? Are you became a new born again after the new cathedral church with VEIL inside?

Martin Luther (Jesuit priests) confessed in his autobiography and he admitted that he splitted the Catholic Church and he admits that it was a real sin from his part.

By putting the VEIL and Claver CROSS in the Altar, you have already given a wrong message to the faithful that there is no difference between Catholicism and Protestantism.

i am so sorry to read this email and to visit the web site you mentioned. i am here in USA for last seven years working with Syro Malabar as well as latin people. what i learned and experienced from malayali people is only seeing the negative side of things and propagating it to all. The latin people are very respectful and say things frankly. we are the people who love umakathu and like to play behind curtain. we will have problems and difference of opinion in our own families and there are a lot of decent ways to solve it. i have visited the Chicago church several times and see the hard work and goodness of people over there. we are people who never have received any mercy from the latin diocese here. many many years we begged them to get a church of our own or to accommodate us. you should be proud of having a church of your own for your future generation. whatever may be the difference of opinion, please try to solve within your community by best possible ways. it is not healthy to organize people in both sides and destroy the good health of the church and the coming generation. i have seen and read the comments and it made me to cry. the syro-malabar church itself has to find answer to many questions like the structure of a church, the symbols, the liturgy etc like the latin church. it is not the problem of one bishop or diocese, the entire syro-Malabar church have difference of opinion in different aspects. i can see the division of people according to the locality they come from. whatever may be the difference of opinion or issues, please try to solve it as early as possible and try to do the best. we will pray for your community.

You are dead wrong about your statement about American Latin dioceses. They have been most accommodating to us. They let us use their churches for our services in many cities. They even gave us here in Chicago property worth millions for a dollar a year lease! So how can you say you received no mercy from them? Because they did not give a church to you FREE? Why should they give you a church free? How can you expect such a thing? If you want your own church, work hard for it and build or buy your own. Don't expect a handout from the poor american people.
You are right about umakkath and curtain. But the fact is umakkath came because of curtain. So please use your influence with the bishop to remove it from the church and reestablish unity in our community.
Who is Fr. Abraham, as per his comments, he has been in USA for a while by himself without any support from the Latin Church. Almost all priests, including our Bishop came to here to serve the Latin Church initially. How dare you to challenge the mercy of the Latin Church. More than 80% of the existing Kerala Syro Malabar Church’s infrastructures were from foreign aids and that was from global Catholic Church. The Latin’s church counts more than 80% of the world Catholics, even though we got the faith seed in AD 52, why we are still less than 3% of Indian community? The answer is we never ever have had a common goal.
Fr. Doest not has any opinion of himself about the VEIL and the cross. He is a silent spectator without any voice of himself. Fr. Abraham, you speak up and do something to heal the broken paths here. When you visit the church next time in Chicago, you can experience the awkwardness and unholy setup of the cathedral church inside.
Unfortunately, Fr. Karoot is one of the ignorant people who came to this country to make money and keep the malayalees out of main stream America. I am offended by his comments about the Chicago archdiocese and the generosity of the late cardinal who may be recongnised as a saint one day.We have too many churches and priests here, why you folks invite yorself to this country ?. Don't you have enough work in Kerala and India ?. There are too many people in India that need your help. The Bishop needs to remove the VEIL from the church first. All Chicago based priests are without any backbone. Whoever thinks that the Bishop and his priests are here to serve the Syro Malabar Catholic and then we are mistaken, they are here to loot us. They do not have any agenda; their main goal is to make money. They have already demonstrated that in the Altar of the new Cathedral Church. They created a big circus tent in our church for their circus, drama and their music is without any rhythm. They will spoil our community.
Our priests have used our church as a stage to publicly criticize the Latin Church in a very negative ways. We should not allow them to speak against the Latin Church. As a catholic we are all same. Our Bishop and priests are still in the Pegan stage.

that priest whoever did the mass today has NO gift from GOD at all. O MY GOD his singing was horrible. Not even one single note was even accidently correct. And his English was so horrible, it scared my kids. His mass was so phony, even a stupid guy like me could could read his mind. This is the first time i am watching the mass in that new church. By the way what was in that red koodaaram?

We cannot justify anybody; however our Cathedral authorities are more than criminals by their action. Whoever put the ugly veil and controversial cross in the Altar has done bigger crime than the one who torned. Whoever supports the VIEL also take part equally in that criminal injective message that is explicitly seen once you enter into the cathedral church. We need to remove that ugly setup from our church and need to pray for our Bishop to get rid of that VEIL from the church. We the people from south and north Kerala are equal; we all are one in Christ with Syro Malabar church, but now we are being cheated by our church authorities. You think yourself; we do not want any divisions within us.
What an ugly setup in the church is their any holiness inside? A picture presents more than 10000 words. We go to Sunday mass to see God, to experience God and to proclaim His Glory to others. But the VEIL is a dark cloud of the whole church and it represents the black cloud of the Palai Bishop.
However our Bishop is not from either party. Our bishop needs people to be divided so that he thinks that he get more power. He needs only money and he thinks that he more than POPE. POPE manages 100 acres of Vatican; our Bishop thinks that he is the managing director of whole Canada and America. Our Bishop is the one who is spoiling our community by keeping the ugly ALTAR setups. I do know how they could offer mass in front of that shower curtain. May be people like our church authoritative are the main reason of all religious violence in India.
Our family’s hard earned money they spend for this circus tent, our spouse’s worked day and night in different positions, especially our sisters and whoever in the nursing profession, they need at least peace of mind when they enter into our church. The church greets us with a RED tent; it is really shameful to the whole syro catholic community.
If you are really from the SYRO Malabar community, why can’t you move up your concern to the church authorities? What is the real role of the Fr. Kaduppil here, he is another fake?
I like our Malayalam Mass. Our Malayalam music is very appropriate and it has been tuned to our spiritually very much. Who ever guides and teach the KIDS the Malayalam music has real talents and she/he deserves the real credit for that. A music became a spiritual hymn or matra only if she is talented and with spiritual gifts.
Our English mass is mess and I do not know why they need that. It is good for training purposes to priests who seek Jobs in Latin Church.
We need another bishop to counsel the current bishop. How we could get a new bishop for us.
This blog site is really good and helps us to evaluate ourselves. How are we doing and where we stand with our faith? Now we have shepherds with different, variant colors and style to accommodate with different situations.
As always they need believers only to get and squeeze money from them. That is why they are turning to the congregation during their sermons and requests for money.
I have been serving this syro malabar church more than 20 years. Started with Fr.antoney kuriyalassery. (god bless his soul).Any way years passed. Fr.jacob angadiath came as our vicar. When he came here he was such a simple and humble priest. I have to say this. In our parish a very minority people, may be 10 families are polluting, our priests. These people have no other business other than church politics. HELLO CROOKS PLS LEAVE OUR CHURCH AND CHURCH AUTHORITIES ALONE. DONT U HAVE ANY OTHER BUSINESS OTHER THAN THIS? Where was your spirit when our Bishop Angadiyath, unilaterally with his foolish lawyers carved our church for staging their dram? Who are those actors? How can you justify the church authority’s decision to impose VEIL in the church? Whosoever put the ugly VEIL and CONTROVERSIAL CROSS in the Altar is the biggest criminals our community. Whatever they done is a very serious mistake and it is as punishable as the sexual abuse case. What happened, if a non-believer brings a non Christian and pagan statue into our church and he deliberately leaves it in our church? Did you accept it as Christian symbol?

We need to condemn those who is splitting our community and forcing us to dilute our faith. Our Bishop and some priests are bringing their paganism into the new era Christianity. Our church authorities are silently doing this.

We all have different opinions. But, as a church, why cant we look in the official instruction of the church heirarchy , I mean from Vatican. Once you read and understand it, many of our misconceptions and ignorance will disappear.
