ചിക്കാഗോ: നമ്മുടെ ഇടവകയിലെ സത്യ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനിയായ ഒരു വ്യക്തി കത്തി വച്ചു കുത്തിക്കീറിയ അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന്റെ ശീലക്ക് കണ്ടം വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
കഴിഞ്ഞ ശനിയാഴ്ച രാത്രിക്ക് വികാരി ഫാദര്‍ ആന്റണി തുണ്ടത്തിലിനെ സാക്ഷി നിറുത്തി നമ്മുടെ ഒരു ഇടവക അംഗം അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന്റെ ശീലക്ക് കത്തി വച്ചത് നിങ്ങള്‍ മാലോകര്‍ അറിഞ്ഞു കാണുമല്ലോ. കോണകവാലിന് തീ പിടിച്ചാലെന്നപോലെ പ്രശ്നം ശീല പ്രേമികള്‍ ശീഖ്രം തല്ലിക്കെടുത്തി. എന്നാലും അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന്റെ പൂതി തീര്‍ന്നിട്ടില്ല. ശീല ഇനിയും കെട്ടും എന്ന വാശിയാണ് അങ്ങോര്‍ക്ക് എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. കണ്ടം കെട്ടിയ ശീലയാലും മതി, പക്ഷെ കെട്ടിയിരിക്കണം. അങ്ങനെ ശീലക്ക് തകൃതിയായി കണ്ടം വച്ചു കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
ഈ സംഭവത്തോടെയെങ്കിലും പൊതുജന രോഷത്തിന്റെ ആഴം അധികാരികള്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കുമെന്ന് ഞങ്ങള്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. ലാഘവത്തോടെ കാണേണ്ട ഒന്നല്ല ഇത്. ആയിരങ്ങളുടെ വികാരമാണ് ആ അര്‍ത്ഥരാത്രിയില്‍ അവിടെ പ്രകടമായത്. ഇനിയെങ്കിലും ഇതുപോലുള്ള അനിഷ്ട സംഭവങ്ങള്‍ പള്ളിയിലുണ്ടാകുവാന്‍ അധികാരികള്‍ വഴിമരുന്നിട്ടു കൊടുക്കരുതേ.

LET US THE PATISHNERS TOGETHER GO AND REMOVE THE SHEELA IF BISHOP WANT TO SAVE IT.DON'T LET ONE PERSON GO. IF WE SEE THE SHEELA THIS SUNDAY GO TOGETHER AND PULL IT DOWN BEFORE THE MASS.WE BUILT THE CHURCH, WE SPENT, WE PLUGED. DON'T LET THE CHATUPOTTAN PARTIES TO RULE AND RUIN THE CHURCH. BISHOP AND THE PRIESTS NEED TO "SEE" THE SPLIT HERE IN OUR COMMUNITY."SAVE THE SHEEPS" NOT THE "CHEELA'.
We will not rest until the VEIL is removed.
Let us pray for our Bishop for his return to Catholic Faith. He is now acting like an agent who is working against the Global Catholic Church.
Why we need a Bishop here? Before this Bishop, all people have one in common, that was their faith, and once he got his CAP he becomes a thorn to the whole Syro Malabar Church. He lost his identify and he has already misplaced, disintegrated the Syro Malabar Catholic here in USA. He is really the shame of all Indian Community in USA. Our so called Bishop needs to understand that we got our faith not through his sermons; we inherit our deep rooted faith while we were in our own mother’s womb.

I was in the church this last sunday. Everybody was talking about the sheela torn. Honestly I could not see it. I asked many people. They also said sheela was torn, but not seen it.
Who cares or would want to unite behind an unethical bastard like Jose Thariyathu, a seminary drop off, wife cheater, mistress keeper!
He should be punished and send to jail. By the way, I am AGAINST the sheela too.

I so agree with you!You really understand what should be done. I hope somebody will take action to this BIG mess!!! They spent a lot of money for the sheela and nobody got a say for it thats why now everyone hates it and dont worry about Chatupottan and his group WE as a GROUP will stop him when we kick his butt!!!!EVERY THING IS OUT OF PLACE HERE!!! WE HAVE TO FIX THIS!

Whoever torned the Bishop’s Sheela has done the right thing.
The Chicago priests and Bishop is more than a criminal, because they insulted 90% of Sunday going Syro Catholics in Chicago. When compared to American’s Sex abuse, our Bishops and his priest’s actions are more than that. I mean they insulted spiritually and mentally. I saw many people crying on July 5Th in Cathedral by seeing the wickedness of Bishop in the new Church.
Tell me, here under the Chicago diocese what we have; the Latin Church gave us multi millions worth property for $1.00 to Indian Catholics. Our Bishop doesn’t have any Convents, schools, Hospitals, charity homes and retirement home to manage and control. What he has in his credit, he splitted one of the smooth going church, hardly around 400 yearly pledges paying original Syro Malabar Catholic Families in Chicago.
Think of what happened if he was here from the beginning? We have crooked priests and a Bishop in Chicago. We cannot consider them religious. They are real shame of the catholic community. They put a black mark in the community because of their wicked action.

The unethical and corrupt church setup in a conservative church community is more than cruelty by the Bishop. We are really going back to Pegan stage and our biblically green priests and Bishop will spoil ourfuture community.
