എന്നാല്‍ സര്ക്കാരിന്റെ ഈ ആനുകൂല്യം നമ്മുടെ പല ഇടവക നേതാക്കന്മാരും പരക്കെ ദുരുപയോഗപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതായി ഞങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷനത്തില്‍ തെളിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. വര്‍ഷങ്ങളായി പല മാന്യന്മാരും സ്വന്തം വീട്ടിലേയ്ക്ക്‌ തട്ടുമുട്ടു സാധനങ്ങള്‍ വാങ്ങിക്കുന്നതും, TV, furniture തുടങ്ങിയ സാധനങ്ങള്‍ തുടങ്ങി, എന്തിന് നിത്യോപയോഗ സാധനങ്ങളും പച്ചക്കറിയും വരെ വാങ്ങാനും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് സീറോ മലബാറിന്റെ Tax ID യാണ്. ഈയിടെ ഒരു മഹാമാന്യന്‍ toys r us ല്‍ നിന്നും കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കളിപ്പാട്ടം വാങ്ങിക്കൊടുത്തത് ഇതിനൊരു മകുടോദാഹരണമാണ്. Sams Club ലും വിപുലമായി നമ്മുടെ Tax ID യുടെ ദുരൂപയോഗം നടന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ നേതാക്കന്മാര്‍ മാത്രമാണ് ഇങ്ങനെ നിയമ വിരുദ്ധമായി പള്ളിയുടെ Tax ID സ്വന്തം ആവശ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്കായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന് തെറ്റിധരിക്കരുത്. ഒട്ടു മുക്കാലും പള്ളി നേതാക്കള്‍ ഇത് പതിവാക്കിയിരിക്കയാണ് എന്നാണ് ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മനസ്സിലാക്കാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞത്. ഈ ദുരൂപയോഗം വഴി ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് ഡോളര്‍ സര്‍ക്കാരിന് നഷ്ടമായിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്ന് നിസ്സംശയം പറയാം. കൂടാതെ ഇവര്‍ വഞ്ചിക്കുന്നത് സീറോ മലബാര്‍ ഇടവകയിലെ ഓരോ അംഗങ്ങളേയുമാണ്‌. അധികാരികളുടെ മൌനസമ്മദ ത്തോടെയാണോ ഈ അഴിമതി അരങ്ങേറുന്നതെന്നു വ്യക്തമല്ല. എങ്കിലും തങ്ങളുടെ ശിങ്കിടികളുടെ സഹായസഹകരണങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പ്രതി നന്ദിയായി അധികാരികള്‍ ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള സംഗതികള്‍ക്ക് നേരെ മനപ്പൂര്‍വം കണ്ണടയ്ക്കാന്‍ സാധ്യത ഇല്ലാതില്ല.
ഈയിടെ കര്‍ട്ടന്‍ കുത്തിക്കീറിയ വ്യക്തിയെ born ക്രിമിനല്‍ എന്ന് ചിലര്‍ ചിത്രീകരിക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചല്ലോ. അതുപോലെ തന്നെ കഴിഞ്ഞ പള്ളിക്കമ്മിറ്റി മീറ്റിങ്ങിലും ചിലര്‍ ഈ പ്രശ്നം കുത്തിപ്പൊക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചു. അവിടെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ തലയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി മുറവിളി കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ഒരു മാന്യനാണ് toys r us ല്‍ പോയി തന്റെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പള്ളിയുടെ Tax ID നിയമവിരുദ്ധമായി ഉപയോഗിച്ചു കളിപ്പാട്ടം വാങ്ങിയത്. വെള്ളയടിച്ച കുഴിമാടങ്ങള്‍ എന്ന് ബൈബിളില്‍ വായിച്ചിട്ടേയുള്ളൂ. നേരിട്ടു കാണണമെങ്കില്‍ സീറോ മലബാര്‍ പള്ളിയുടെ പരിസരത്തു ചെന്നാല്‍ മതി. കുഴിമാടങ്ങള്‍ പലതു കാണാം, സൂട്ട്മിട്ട് നേതാവ് കളിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നത്.
വര്‍ഷങ്ങളായി നടന്നുവരുന്ന ഈ അഴിമതി ഗൌരവതരമായ ഒരു ക്രിമിനല്‍ കുറ്റമാണെന്ന് നമ്മുടെ സ്ഥലം CPA മാരോട് ചോദിച്ചാല്‍ പറയും. ഇത് നടത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളവരെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരാനുള്ള വഴിയും, എടുക്കേണ്ട നടപടികളും ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കറിയാം. പക്ഷെ, മറ്റു പല പരിഗണനകളും വച്ചു തല്‍ക്കാലം ഞങ്ങളത് ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല. എന്നാല്‍ പള്ളിയുടെ Tax ID ദുരൂപയോഗപ്പെടുത്തിയവരെ കണ്ടു പിടിച്ച് മാതൃകാപരമായി ശിക്ഷിക്കാനുള്ള ഉത്തരവാദിത്വം ഇടവക അധികാരികള്‍ക്കുണ്ട്. ഈ വ്യക്തികള്‍ സ്വയം മുന്നോട്ട് വന്ന്, പ്രശ്നപരിഹാരങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് തയ്യാറാകാത്ത പക്ഷം മിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചാമക്കാല CPA, revenue department മായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് ഇവര്‍ക്കെതിരെ വേണ്ട നടപടികള്‍ സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു.

For majority of SMC, the curtain and the Controversial Cross are the #1 issues. If we cannot peacefully attend a Sunday mass, then what is the purpose of the diocese and the big cathedral? The Bishop cannot be silent for ever; the diocese ignore the majorities’ voice, their opinions and their mass complaint to the bishop. We all have full right to have a mass without the veil in the church. The bishop needs to remove it from the church.

We made a quick survey at neighboring warehouse clubs,departments ,electronics ,office supply, furniture,flower shop and even supermarket. Aproximately
123 individuals using syro malabar tax ID. Anything you buy with tax ID church has to have the original receipt. Do not bring any made up receipt to finance office. This is a friendly warning to all achayans.No more unauthorized use. It is a crime,easy road to jail. We are Born Christians not born Criminals.

Tax Id ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് ഇന്നലെ തൊടങ്ങിതല്ല. 20 വര്‍ഷത്തിലേറെ ആയി. താങ്കളുടെ അന്വേഷണം ഇപ്പോഴേ ഇവിടെ എതിയോള്ള?. കാരണം, പണ്ടു ചിലപ്പോള്‍ താങ്കളും ഈ ആനുകൂല്യം (ദുരു)ഉപയോഗിചിട്ടുണ്ടാവും ! !

YOu guys keep justifying the person who tore the curtain. Why you get so upset when somebody say something about the curtain issue? Destruction to church property should be dealt seriously to the full extend possible. Let the parish council do their job..don't get upset..we understand your feeling...you gang please cool down....people cannot just forget...it take time. Regarding tax exempt, the only thing you have to do is email the department of revenue. It is very easy for you because you have expertise in "olipporu" visit www.irs.gov

You are right! To a certain extent we justify the person who tore the curtain. Not only we, but a great majority of the parishioners do. The curtain was not the idea of the parishioners. It was a unilateral, fascist action by the bishop. So we believe, ethically he was justified in trying to remove it. And let us be on the record, that we also oppose the curtain and the Manichaen cross, and will always campaign for its removal.
Coming back to the subject: now our understanding is that, that issue has been settled. We mentioned about this issue coming up at the pastoral council meeting just to show what phony hypocrites these people are. On the one hand they try to criminalize a parishioner's stupid and fanatic action fueled by religious passion, while they themselves are committing the real crime. People like you have your priorities all mixed up. That is why this community is in this messy situation.
By the way, about the tax exempt situation, you got it wrong too. It is the Illinois Department of Revenue, not the IRS. We would like to follow your advice and contact the authorities. But I don't think the vicar and some of your buddies are really going to like it.December 12, 2008 12:58 PM

Let me tell you something, a church is a non-profit organization. It has its own rules and regulations. Church authorities can decide what, when and how things get done. So, guys, let’s forget about this issue. No point of running this site, it’s just get some people to boil their blood, some others to make fun and others to crap. Do you guys (people who behind this blog) think any of these names are real. It could be you or my father, yours, my brother, in law and yours or somebody else. Come on, cut the crap, no use. I hate religion, guys we are living in 21st century. Come on this is a planet and we are just a form of life in this planet. So get a life!!!

If you hate religion why are you snooping around this blog? I am sure you have had some unhappy experiences, and those are the reason you hate the church. Our mission is not to give up. We are trying to reform the church and the authorities, so that the church will be appealing to you and people like you.

Please note that we never recently had a parishioners meeting and some nominated individuals are administering the church activities, they are doing all dirty things inside the church with the support of Bishop and the priests.
All non-profit organizations are intended for the society and for community development and it is not for misusing. Church cannot act by its own mode of operations under the umbrella of religious and non profit institutions. It is a mistake and it is proof of diocesan failures. Similar things may be happening through out all Syro Malabar churches in USA and this need to be stopped.
If we report this to authorities, they will seal the church for misuse of public funds.

It is time to open the books for public audit on request. The parish council needs to publish all defaulters' list and they need to be banned from church administrative functions. Definitely they may be getting silent support from the Bishop and priests, because Bishop needs support from internal cheaters for his survival. The Chicago Syro Malabar diocesan buffoons are the talk of all Indians though out Middle East, Europe and India now.

Misusing church facility for personal fame and personal benefits is more than a crime. They are the lawbreakers and their silent supporters are the biggest criminals.
