I am really surprised Syro Malabar Voice or Theeppantham did not make any mentions about last Sunday's Vicari's sermon. It was awful. He used the church pulpit to insult every parents and parishioners. I do not know what was his reason for his outbursts. I am sure I was not the only one who felt that way. All the people in the basement were talking about his speech. Including mothers. He defenitily has some issues.
Whatever his issues are, why is Fr Antony insulting his parishioners? Is he going crazy or what! We are parents. We know how to bring up children, give them good education, etc. Father Antony should stick to his scriptures in sermons, not lecture us about what is good for our children. Our prayer is, please bishop and priests, do not mislead them. Because the priests and nuns in Kerala is not showing good exemplary life. How many of them are in jail now. Nuns too. This is scandal for children. Real scandal.
Now my question is: why was Syro Malabar voice neglected this news. For some reason you support the priest, Fr Antony. That is why you keeping quiet about this. If you are real voice, you cannot show partiality. This is going to affect your credibility.
Good job on those tax cheaters. They have to belong in jail, with Ryan and Blago.

He said his colleagues are in higher position than him.... Right ....one of his buddy is pope in Vatican...Come on....
He further said , his congregation is taking care of him, not the parishoners...What about the allowance we pay to Antony achan......If his sabha take care of him quit accepting allowance from the church.
He continues barking...youth are going to other community...if you are not getting nutritious food in your home, kids will go to somewhere else to eat.. He failed to organise programmes which attracts the youth. We pay for his stupidity....
9 million dollars......where is the account details....You are accountable for this...first try to discharge the duties vested on you, then worry about the youth and the family... majority of American Malayalees have a good idea about how to raise their kids...Your advice is more than enough now...

Shame on you! We are really losing talented priests and religious. The bishop and his supportive anti Catholic priest are the real curse of the Syro Malabar US community. Why Fr. Antony is still clinging here in Chicago for so many years. He done two things in Chicago, (1) he was able to pastor during a 10 million worth Cinema Theater building project @ 5000 Saint Charles Rd during his priesthood and (2) he succeeded in splitting the church (the church members). The Bishop and his priests failed to build a holy Cathedral for the community instead they sliced the community.
In today’s sermon, Fr. Antony is challenging the parishioner’s faithfulness toward Catholic Church. He is looking for parish council members those who obey his biased boss, the Bishop. In USA the Syro Malabar church is demanding with talented people for the common future of the church. So many SMC catholic directly and indirectly worked hard for the church, now the Bishop and the priests are killing their efforts.
We need a new born again Catholic BISHOP who can listen to the believer’s voice and priests who can give homily based on Bible. Now they are actors for getting credits from their supporters, but hardly ever get any applause nowadays.

Now Rev. Fr. Antony feels guilty for deceiving the mother church.
For the sake of fund raising for the building, he has been twisting the Sunday sermons many times. While counseling the parishioners about their family life, Fr. Antony needs to warn the Bishop Jacob Angadiath about his blasphemous decisions first. Being in America means some level of standard that we all maintain and expect from each other.
When I look inside the church, I feel very sorry about the setups. Outrageous decision to put the ring and the purple cloth, Is it a church? I grew up in a very conservative Brahmin village in Kerala where they maintain their family temples and their family graveyards much holy. Our cathedral Altar is not looking good, not holy any more with the veil and the curtain. Please remove the dirty setup from the Altar and let us try clean the mess in the church.

The VEIL and the BLACK WOOD (claver cross, the carpenters waste wood) in the altar is a disgrace to the community and to the Chicago Syro Malabar Diocese. As our pastor, Fr. Antony needs to take action to remove the tent setup from the holy place first. Let him show his leadership first in our church Altar. The youth are going out of the community because the Chicago Syro church teachings are against the Holy Catholic Church. They publicly taught against Latin Church and at same time their priests are begging and clinging for a priestly job in Latin diocese. They have already spoiled our community.
That speeck by Antony Achan sucks, church & it's facilities sucks too, parking count is heart breaking, not enough rest rooms, ....**in 9 million $'s
