പിതാവ് എപ്പോഴും പറയുമ്പോലെ, ഇതാ ഈസ്റ്റര്‍ വീണ്ടും ഒരിക്കല്‍ കൂടി സമാഗമ മായിരിക്കുന്നു.
ഇക്കൊല്ലത്തെ ദുഖവെള്ളി ചടങ്ങുകള്‍ വളരെ പുതുമകളോട് കൂടിയതായിരിക്കും. ഉദാഹരണം വിയാസാക്ര. വിയാസാക്ര പഴയ പള്ളിയില്‍ വച്ചായിരിക്കും. (പുതിയ പള്ളിയില്‍ അതിനുള്ള സ്ഥലമില്ലെന്ന സത്യം നമുക്കറിയാമല്ലോ?) വിയാസാക്ര സമയത്ത് യഥാസമയ ദ്രിശ്യാ വിഷ്കരണവുമുണ്ടായിരിക്കുമെന്നുള്ളതാണ് ഒരു വലിയ സവിശേഷത. അതായത്, വിയാ സാക്ര സമയത്ത് സ്റ്റേജില്‍ നാടകവും അരങ്ങേരുന്നതായിരിക്കും.
കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒന്നുരണ്ടാഴ്ച്ചയായി ജോണ്‍സ്ട്ടീ അച്ഛന്‍ ഇതിനായി കഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു, ഓടിപ്പായുന്നു. കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന തിരക്കിലായിരുന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞ ആഴ്ചകളില്‍ അദ്ദേഹം. യൂദാസിനെ ഒഴിച്ച് മറ്റു കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുവാന്‍ അദ്ദേഹം വളരെ കഷടപ്പെട്ടുഎന്നാണറിവ്. സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സ്ഥിരം നാടക വേദിയിലെ ഒന്നു രണ്ടു സ്ഥിരം നായക-നായകീ മാരെ അദ്ദേഹം ഒഴിവാക്കി എന്നാണ് ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മനസ്സിലാക്കുവാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞത്. "അച്ഛന്റെ സംവിധാനത്തില്‍ എല്ലാ വിധ വികാരങ്ങളും അണ പൊട്ടി പുറത്തു ചാടുന്നു" എന്നാണ് ഒരു നടി കണ്ണീരോടെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ലേഖകനോട് പറഞ്ഞത്.
ഇക്കണക്കിനു എന്തായിരിക്കും നമ്മുടെ ദുഖവെള്ളി! എന്താണ് അവിടെ നടക്കുവാന്‍ പോകുന്നത്! ഒരിടത്ത് കുരിശിന്റെ വഴി, സ്റ്റേജില്‍ നാടകം! ഇതെല്ലാം താങ്ങാനുള്ള ശക്തി നമ്മുടെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കുണ്ടാകുമോ എന്തോ! ആമ്പുലന്‍സ് തയ്യാറാക്കി നിറുത്തുവാന്‍ അധികാരികള്‍ ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടവരെ ചുമതലപ്പെടുത്തുമെന്നു കരുതുന്നു.

Let us make something very clear. We did not say the Way of the Cross is a drama. What we said is, this year during the Way of the Cross there is going to be a drama on the stage. And it is true. As for evangelization, they should do it in Orissa, not in the US.
At the same time we would like to acknowledge that your words are truly very Christian and charitable. Yet we wonder why you did not want your name to be known. You are afraid even when you say the most charitable and christian words!

Thank you for the clarification. You are very good in explaining things in the least harmful way to your identity when things needed to be explained and that is good. As for the evangelization, it is a continuing process and the catalysts for that ongoing transformation could be images and interactions that affect human minds. When you realize the dreaded fact that our children are being dragged to other denominations and we see it in the plain view, why the evangelization only in Orissa? You said it is not needed in USA. In order to keep our children continue in our catholic faith , we need to show them something that is valuable. When our children grow up under numerous pressures around them we need to provide them with something that they can hold on to and the strong catholic faith and trust in God is the answer. I strongly believe these religious depictions and actions will serve the purpose. The reason being annonymous, is plain, simple and clear and you know it well. You have given it in your introductory message.I am unknown and would like to remain unknown rather known.

Believe it or not the "intelligent other half" is the one who is reading the stupid stunts a lot...and there better half too...Arent you ashamed to say the "intelligent half"...if these people were intelligent we would had a better church. Have you seen any buiding in the state of illinois which is not weather proof...The main door and the second door is not insulated...thereby the temperature is not controlled. I fully agree with the commentators above. It seems there are no intelligent and thinking people in our community. Other wise how could have this happened? I do not have to repeat all the mess in our church. Everyone knows it is a disaster. Only the priest and his supporters are pretending everything is ok. Everything is not ok. There is a lot of sense in what Dineshan and other anonymous people are saying. None of us, including I believe, the Editors of Syromalabar Voice, Dineshan, Vince and other anonys are anti-church or anti-catholic. But we are speaking god's truth. The priests and his supporters and authorities are misleading this community and leading them into trouble in the future. They commit all the blunders, and the young youths cannot stand this dirty politics. so they hate coming to the church, because they know what is going on. then the priest accuses the parents for this. look at the dirty dirty politics achan played during this so-called election. It is a shame that our parish priest cannot remain as a man of god. He and the church leadership is setting the bad example for our youth. The responsibility of our lost youth rests with authorities. Because the youth are disgusted, and they hate it.
I believe drama during kurisinte vazhi is ridiculous. we are able to understand the agony of christ without the drama. drama makes it cheap. how cheap can these people go? This is a shame!
