സീറോ മലബാര് ദേവാലയത്തില് നമ്മുടെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ മലയാളം കുര്ബാനയില് പങ്കെടുപ്പിക്കുന്നത് അവരോട് ചെയ്യുന്ന കനത്ത അനീതിയാണെന്ന് വികാരി ഫാ. ആന്റണി. കുര്ബാനയ്ക്ക് ശേഷമുള്ള അറിയിപ്പുകളിലാണ് വികാരഭരിതനായി ഇക്കാര്യം അദ്ദേഹം ഇടവകക്കാരെ അറിയിച്ചത്.
11 മണിയുടെ മലയാളം കുര്ബാനയ്ക്ക് സന്നിഹിതരായിരുന്ന നാലഞ്ചു ദ്വര കളുടെ വിനോദത്തിനായി തൂയ കുബാനയാണ് പിതാവ് അങ്ങാടിയത്ത് ചൊല്ലിയത്. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പ്രസംഗത്തിലെ ഒരു വാചകം എങ്കിലും മനസ്സിലാക്കിയവര് അത് ഞങ്ങളെ എഴുതി അറിയിക്കുകയാണെങ്കില് നൂറു ഡോളര് പാരിദോഷികമായി നല്കുന്നതാണ്.

ഇപ്പോഴാണ് വേറൊരു കാര്യം ഓര്മ്മ വരുന്നത്. മലയാളത്തോട് ഇത്ര ചതുര്ത്തിയുള്ള അധികാരികള് എന്തിന് മലയാള കലകളെ പോഷിപ്പിക്കാനെന്നുള്ള പേരില് cultural അക്കാദമി നടത്തുന്നു? സംസ്കൃത ഭാഷയിലുള്ള കീര്ത്തനങ്ങളും ശാസ്ത്രീയ ഡാന്സും മറ്റുമാണ് അവിടെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. എങ്കിലും അതിനുവേണ്ടി നിങ്ങള് broshure അടിക്കുന്നു. അധ്യാപക വിഡ്ഢികളെ promote ചെയ്യുന്നു. നാല് നേരം വിളിച്ചു പറയുന്നു. മലയാളം കുര്ബാനയോടു നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് അലര്ജി. പക്ഷെ മലയാളം കലകളോട് പ്രേമം. കാരണം നമ്മുടെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ വിറ്റ് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് പൈസ ഉണ്ടാക്കണം. അത്ര തന്നെ. ഇത്തരുണത്തില് ഞങ്ങള് അധികളോട് വീണ്ടും ചോദിക്കുകയാണ്: കൂടിയാല് 25 മിനുറ്റില് ഒതുങ്ങുന്ന നമ്മുടെ മലയാളം കുര്ബാനയിലെ പാട്ടുകളും പ്രാര്ഥനകളും നമ്മുടെ ഇടവകയിലെ മലയാളി കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നതില് എന്ത് ചാവുദോഷമാണ് ഉള്ളത്?

I am writing a comment for the fist time. I disagree with this blog because it brings private community and churh issues out into public. But at the same time I admit this blog makes quite a few good points too. I do not justify fr. Antony's announcement yesterday. He is actively trying to promote english actively. This is not what he is supposed to do being a vicar of a syromalabar chuch. I am very unhappy about it. And that is why I am writing this comment.

This is a belated wisdon for Fr. Antony. I appreciate his courrage to express in public.
Though we all are part of Syro Malabar, we are one under POPE and jesus.
I hope the day will come soon, just like Fr. Antony, the public will also realize that it was not required to have a malyalam catholic chruch in USA.
I hope, Fr. Antony is telling in good sprit.
May be he realized that there are lots of people in our community who dont understand English, may attend Malayalam all kids and those who understand may attend English mass in a chruch where Mass Celiberaed in English.

We know some of the comments were not genuine. Writers pretend to be youth, but they are not. Also the language was smutty. Those we do not publish. We don't go for that, sorry.

Last sunday Fr Antony threatened parents will lose their children. What he mean? He must stop this kind of talking in the church. This kind of threatening is abuse. We are not coming to church to hear your threatening. Remember you living with our hard yearned money and that itself is a lot for you. You are our servant and we are your existance.
Fr. Anotny learn and do his job as a good priest and let the parents do the job of parent hood.
