THE PARISHIONERS HAVE COLLECTED OVER 400 SIGNATURES TO PROTEST THE BISHOP'S RUTHLESS TREATMENT OF THEIR VICAR, WHO IS CONSIDERED A HERO BY MANY. THE BISHOP IS INVITING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST HIMSELF, OURS SOURCES TELL US. THEY ARE ALSO WORKING BEHIND THE SCENES TO STIR UP TROUBLE IN GARLAND CHURCH.
THE LEADERS OF THE COMMUNITY SAY THE BISHOP HAS NO CHOICE IN COPPELL AS FAR AS MARTHOMA CROSS AND VIRI IS CONCERNED.

Right now only the Bishop is taking Revenge. We Coppell folks are not started our revenge yet. We only said that we don't want manikeyan cross and adipavada here. But this bishop is inviting legal action from us.

Syro Malabar Bishop is driving a Lincoln Car. I am not against this and I would say he should be driving in a Limo because he is my Bishop and our Bishop.
But the House and others....
It's not a small Hut Bishop is living -It's a 2.2 Million Dollar House, Bishop is living in the "HellWood" neighborhood. Any simple American understands - You can buy a 5 Bedroom house for less than 750K in any rich neighborhood in Illinois. But Bishop and his thinkless+clueless team had spent 2.2 Million Dollars for the current Bishop house (with a quarter acre extra lot). What a DUMB and FOOLISH and POOR financial decision.
They could have built the BEST house in IL for 1 Million in the Syro Malabar -Cathedral neighborhood for the money they had spent - 2.2 Million + 850K for the waste useless office. The 3Million they had spent on living less than 2 Miles away from Syro Malabar Cathedral – Have anybody thought what kind of logical answer to these questions? What kind of justifications anybody can give on the above topics?
Bishop could have used the 9.5 Million Dollar Syro Malabar Cathedral offices and saved all 3 Million Dllars towards our Mortgages may be. Instead, they have purchased another office buildinge for 750K and spent another 150K to repair that. And now the village had taken this back for 150K because that's a threat.
My question is - Who permits or questions this kind of irresponsible financial acts? Or aren’t we supposed to talk about this? We should be mum on these because we are God Fearing Catholics. Yes, I am a scared Catholic Goat but it’s come to a stage where I have to talk else it’s going to the very wrong way.
The Analysis and Facts.
1. The Bishop House is a complete failure in handling financial decisions.
2. And now Bishop House is proving that they are very poor in handling in Faith Oriented Decisions too.
3. Faith comes prior any Egos - that may be a tough lesson authorities need to understand and actup on it.
What a True Leader.
Jesus said, prior being a Leader “Be the servant of the people”. Prior judging others “Judge Yourself”. I don’t see any of these qualities or any other leadership qualities in our Bishop.
As a Bishop I respect him and as a person I love him. But as a Leader, he is a failure. He is not the old Bishop I used to know and I used to respect and I used to love. He is simply different and dangerously a threat to Syro Malabar Catholic Community with his current acts.
I have one more questions to the readers and I want you to think about it.
1. Will there be another NEW Syro Malabar Church in United States? If not, who is the root cause to that?
2. Are these Kaldaya Cross and Sheela – Are they helpful in any ways to the
Community?
3. Is there an end to all this dumb acts? If not how can we put an end to this.
Fr. Saji is a true leader and model priest who helped this community to have this beautiful church. Only because of him many people contributed. (Not forgetting the contributions of the building committee !.) .The mobilization of $1.5 million within a period of six months even in this time of recession is remarkable. Every body in Coppel knows about who is playing behind the curtains, - interfered, and obstructed many ways to prevent purchase of the church . The same people are creating problems again and the Bishop is also siding the same elements with his personal vengeance. Cross and Sheela issue is a created issue by the diocesan administration as a way to put one among them in the church as Vicar.
WE COPPEL FAITHFULL PAID THE MONEY TO BUY THE CHURCH AND WANT A CRUCIFIX IN THE ALTER WHICH WE DID.
What ever the Bishop do, we will have the mass next sunday as usual by Fr.saji and the meeting thereafter.

this is with reply to the # 4 posting on calling the media. Please do not do anything foolish, because we are one community and this fight is between Sajii Achen and the Diocese. Does anyone want to come in front of the media and say the Diocese was wrong. I want you all to remember, that any Achens sitting in a parish has to go, here it is differnt, sajii achen had only invited all this trouble. We as a community, should voice against this, but not in front of the media or doing parade. Everything has a proper way.
We as a community has done the wrong thing. There is a saying in malayalam " pallada kuthiyaal naarum" and we are doing that.

We, 95% Coppell Church Members have told you clearly many times, we only want to see crucifix in our church altar, that is the only cross we had in the temporary church facility all these time, and you should have told otherwise before we all put our share of money to buy it.
If you do not understand nor want to understand it, Bishop please read carefully, someone close to you is trying to defame you, or put you out of office, please understand their intentions; maybe some of these guys want your Bishop Post.
We all know you also played part in the drama to change our General Body Meeting Report earlier and you came here to fire Saji Achen, but after seeing the support of people for Saji Achen and our dislike of you, you couldn’t fire Saji Achen last time you came to Coppell.
We bought this church with our money, unfortunately by law you have the right to the church, but that doesn’t mean you can enforce whatever you want on us.
You have to tell your Coppell real Catholics, why the other cross have to be in the altar?.
What is the name of this Cross?
If it is called St. Thomas cross, why cross named after Thomas the apostle has to be in the alter, he is not Jesus, just follower of Jesus, not worthy to be worshipped.
If this cross represents resurrection, it should be just plain cross, the cross you trying to put has many other things in it like thamara etc.
Symbol cross is for symbol purpose of the Diocese, not to be placed in altar and worshipped.

In Dallas area all the previous priests has stayed more than 4 years each time, but here now you given Saji Achen orders to get out of here within two weeks time, and you have not told anyone what this priest has done wrong.
Are you using some of your people against Saji Achan for your personal dislike of him?
As per your firing letter, Saji Achen is leaving, but before that Coppell church community has planned a farewell ceremony in the church on 04/11/10, please don’t play any dirty games to cancel this farewell ceremony.
For you marthoma/claver/manikyan/thamara/symbol cross is more important than the Coppell church community and our Lord jesus it seems.
We the faithful are only asking for the Crucifix to be placed in altar, if you think we are doing some wrong please let us know why and what.

As you resurrected in unity with faith in the Lord, you could clean the Garland church also, tell the VICAR to remove the VIEL and claver cross the church vicinity. Chicago Bishop house is informing other Bishop's in India that majority is after him. All the trouble is Fr. Saji.
Also, he informs tht Syro Malabar voice and the coments are just posted by less than handfull of people.
To show the support and to make other leders understand that is not just one man show. please start useing your Gmail login. This will help other Bishop to understand whats the feeling of the community. At this time, we can not expect much from other Bishops in Kerala. If Coppel looses the church for whatever may be the reasons, let’s take over the Garland Church. We paid and Bishop owned all the churches and we have every right to be part of all the churches in United States.
So this is what we will do
We will allow only Crucified Jesus in Garland Church. And we will remove all Sheela and other "Parambaryam from Garland Church". If others can be dirty and they can go very low, why can't we stand for our the RIGHT things.
