എറണാകുളം അതിരൂപതാ വെബ് മാസ്റ്റര്‍ക്ക് ആയിരമായിരം അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങള്‍. ഒരു സത്യം മനസ്സിലാക്കി വിവേകത്തോടുകൂടി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചു. ബഹു.കോട്ടക്കലിന്റെ സൃഷ്ടി എറണാകുളം അതിരൂപതയുടെ വെബ് സൈറ്റില്‍ നിന്നും പിന്‍വലിച്ചു.
ആഞ്ഞടിച്ച ജനരോഷത്തിന്റെയും അലയടിച്ച ജനവികാരത്തിന്റെയും മുന്‍പില്‍ സിംഹാസനത്തില്‍ ആസനസ്ഥനായ മുതു മഠയനായ ഏത് അധികാരിയുടെയും ആസനം ഒന്ന് വിറക്കും. അത് തന്നെ ഇവിടെയും സംഭവിച്ചു. കോട്ടക്കലിന് ഈ വടി കൊടുത്ത് അടി മേടിക്കേണ്ട വല്ല കാര്യവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നോ? കഷ്ടമായിപ്പോയി കോട്ടക്കല്‍. ബുദ്ധി ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും വിവരം എങ്കിലും വേണം. ഇത് രണ്ടുമില്ലെന്ന് അങ്ങേക്കില്ലെന്നു ഇപ്പോള്‍ മനസ്സിലായി.
ഈ എളിയ ലേഖകന് കോട്ടക്കലിനെയും അറിയില്ല ,സജിയെയും അറിയില്ല. പക്ഷേ രണ്ട് ദിവസം കൊണ്ട് ബഹു. കോട്ടക്കലിന്റെ സൃഷ്ടിക്ക് 125ല്‍ പരം പ്രതികരണങ്ങള്‍ ലോകത്തിന്റെ നാനാ ഭാഗങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും , അതും 99.9%വും പ്രതികൂലമായി തന്നെ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള്‍ ഇതില്‍ എന്തോ കാര്യം ഉണ്ടെന്ന് ഈ ഉള്ളവന്‍ നിനച്ചു.
ഒരു സത്യ വിശ്വാസിയും സുറിയാനി കത്തോലിക്കനുമായ ഈ ലേഖകന് ഒന്ന് മനസ്സിലായി . പണത്തിന്റെയും അധികാര പദവികളുടെയും മത്ത് പിടിച്ച പട്ടക്കാരും മേല്‍പട്ടക്കാരനും കൂടി സത്യമായ സുറിയാനി കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭയെ വിഭജിച്ചേ അടങ്ങൂ. കേരളത്തില്‍ കരുണാകരനും പിണറായിയും ഒക്കെ കളിക്കുന്ന വിലകുറഞ്ഞ തറ രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തെ വെല്ലുന്ന രീതിയില്‍ , ഈ സായിപ്പിന്റെ നാട്ടില്‍ ,ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സ്വന്തം നാട്ടില്‍ നിന്നും വന്ന പണക്കൊതിയരായ പട്ടക്കാരും ,അവരുടെ കയ്യിലെ കളിപ്പാട്ടമായ മേല്‍പട്ടക്കാരനും കൂടി ചേര്‍ന്ന് കളിക്കുന്ന അധമ രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തെ കാണാന്‍ സഭയുടെ തലപ്പത്തിരിക്കുന്ന എറണാകുളം അതിരൂപതാ അധികാരികള്‍ക്ക് കണ്ണില്ലെ?. വളരെ കഷ്ടം തന്നെ! ഇത് ഇത്രത്തോളം വഷളാകാന്‍ സമ്മതിക്കരുതായിരുന്നു. വിശ്വാസികളുടെ സങ്കടങ്ങള്‍ സഭാധികാരികള്‍ ശ്രവിച്ചില്ലെങ്കില്‍ , നിരാശയുടെ പടുകുഴിയില്‍ നിപതിക്കുന്ന വിശ്വാസ്സികള്‍ കാട്ടിക്കൂട്ടിയേക്കാവുന്ന തിന്മകള്‍ കാരണം നമ്മുടെ നാഥനായ ദൈവം സോദോം ഗോമോറായില്‍ അഗ്നിയും ഗന്ധഗവും വര്‍ഷിച്ചതുപോലെ , അമേരിക്കന്‍ സുറിയാനി സഭയെ മുച്ചൂടും നശ്ശിപ്പിക്കും. അതിന്റെ ലക്ഷണങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ടുതുടങ്ങി.
അമിതമായ വിലക്ക് വസ്തുവകകള്‍ വാങ്ങിക്കൂട്ടി , പിന്നെ തുച്ഛമായ വിലക്ക് അതേ വസ്തുവകകള്‍ , വിറ്റവര്‍ക്ക് തന്നെ തിരിച്ചു കൊടുത്തിട്ടു അതില്‍ നിന്നും കിട്ടിയ, രേഖകളില്‍ ചേര്‍ക്കാത്ത വരുമാനം ആരോരുമാറിയാതെ പൂച്ച പാല് കുടിക്കും വിധം വീതിച്ചെടുക്കുക, വീട് വാഹനം വെഞ്ചരിപ്പ് ,മാമ്മോദീസ , മരണാവശ്യം തുടങ്ങിയവയ്ക്ക് നിര്‍ബന്ധിത പിരിവ് , നേരിട്ട് കച്ചവടം നടത്താന്‍ സാധ്യത ഉള്ളപ്പോള്‍ റിയലെസ്റ്റേറ്റ് മാഫിയയുമായി ചേര്‍ന്ന് പള്ളി വാങ്ങി കമ്മീഷന്‍ തട്ടി വീതിച്ചെടുക്കല്‍ , ലൈംഗീഗ മുതലെടുപ്പ് എന്ന് തുടങ്ങി വിവരിക്കാനാവാത്ത വിധം അമേരിക്കന്‍ സുറിയാനി സഭയില്‍ അടയാളങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ടു തുടങ്ങി. ഇനി എന്ന് ന്യായ വിധി ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്ന് കണക്ക് കൂട്ടിയാല്‍ മതി. അത്രമേല്‍ അധപതിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു ഇവിടത്തെ സുറിയാനി സഭ .
പരിശുദ്ധ സുറിയാനി കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭയുടെ തലവനായ ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട കര്‍ദിനാളിനോട് ഒരു അപേക്ഷ. നാടും വീടും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു ,അമേരിക്കയെന്ന മിഥ്യാ സാമ്രാജ്യത്തില്‍ ( ഇത് സ്വപ്ന സാമ്രാജ്യമല്ല, വെറും മിഥ്യ മാത്രം ) കൊടും തണുപ്പിനോടും മഞ്ഞു കട്ടകളോടും ചൂടിനോടും കറമ്പനോടും വെളുമ്പനോടുമൊക്കെ മല്ലടിച്ചു കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന ഡോളര്‍ എത്ര വേണമെങ്കിലും വിശ്വാസ സംരക്ഷണത്തിന് തരാം. പക്ഷേ ഞങ്ങളെയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെയും , കാലഹരണപ്പെട്ട ചില അധമ വിശ്വാസങ്ങളുടെ പേരും പറഞ്ഞു ,അതിന്റെ മറവില്‍ പണാപഹരണം ഒരു മുഖ്യ തൊഴിലാക്കിയ കാപാലികരുടെ കൈകളില്‍ നശിക്കാന്‍ അനുവദിക്കരുത്.

I would like to request that you use your writing skills to help and improve the community, rather than for the character assassination of a priest. You are criticizing Archbishop Roger Mahony, from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. I would like to point out that the Archdiocese of Los Angeles is about 8,700 square miles, the largest Archdiocese in the America (about 60% of the area of the state of Kerala or the total area of Trivandrum, Qulion, Alleppy, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Ernakulam, and Thrichur Districts). The helicopter was a gift from a group that includes operating costs, insurance, and maintenance. This same group donates more than $1 million a year to charity programs for those who have been stricken by poverty. The Archbishop never used a single penny from Archdiocese funds for the maintenance of the helicopter. In large cities like L.A., traffic is a nightmare, so many high official use helicopters as a convenience, not as a luxury. To cover the pastoral service in the vast area of the L.A. Archdiocese, the group who donated the helicopter found it to be imperative for Archbishop Mahony to have a helicopter in order to be able to serve the entire Archdiocese in a quick, efficient manner.
Father Saji’s use of a limousine to the airport was probably a gift from the parishioners in order to show their gratitude to him for his pastoral services. Accepting a gift from someone is the gracious, classy thing to do. Had he not accepted this gift, he would have insulted these parishioners, as they obviously put a lot of work into arranging the limo. If he had not accepted the limousine from the parishioners, it would have implied to them that he was not grateful for their gracious gift. Accepting gifts in a gracious manner has always been the proper standard in our family, maybe not in your family’s standards. Someone in this blog wrote about the Kerala Bishops’ usage of the Impala car during the 1970’s and 1980’s. Those cars were a gift from the United States, just as this limousine was a gift from the parishioners. Those Bishops in Kerala were not highly criticized for their use of the gift they received, so why is Father Saji being publicly slammed for his use of a gift?
I would ask you use your writing skills for a better purpose. No wonder we have so much drama in the Syro-Malabar parishes and missions, people are continuously criticizing the actions of priests and not respecting their authority, actions, or judgement. By writing this offensive letter about Father Saji, you are being no different than some of the people on this blog trash-talking about some individuals and continuously insulting them. A person’s family background and upbringing will certainly show through on the works they produce and how the public perceives them, just as yours has been reflected in the article you wrote.

It was surprising for me that Paul Kottackal is a Syro-Malabar priest.
To be very honest with you I could not gather anything seriously unbecoming about him from the people with whom I had telephone conversation. Both the communities' office bearers say Fr.Paul Kottackal is very much organized and he has a clear vision how to build up a parish in America, and how to educate children religiously in a creative way. Sometimes he is stuburn but it is for the benefit of the community and for upholding discipline.
They say he has a problem in forgiving others easily. With regard to money matters they unanimously aggree his hands clean. Both sides considered his contribution as a priest is remarkable. He has a very balance personality. They wish he improved his homilies. But for them, as he himslef wrote, "Medium is the message." People are satisfied. Sorry if I wrote anything againt him.
It is sad that people make cooments without knowing facts.
I was thinking how can a Catholic priest frequent Las Vegas, even on Sundays. I am told, Fr. Paul, even though he had ample opportunities to go for gambling and other enjoyements in LV, as soon as the service is over in the church, returns to Los Angeles. It is uncharitable to publish truths as lies. It is sin. Let this blog be an agent of truth than of gossip and spreading lies.
I wish blog editor take extra care that no lies are published in his blog.

I read the articles and the responses, and news items in your blog. To be very frank with you I had to change my whole opinion about the American Malayalees and their leadres. The language a journal uses shows its quality and that of its readers.
I read the article on Limo and Missionary more than once. It is a well drafted and good intended one.
I don't think he had a selfish agenda when he wrote it. Only those who go through it with a preconceived mind can find fault with it. When we are emotinal we can not make objective judgements. He is highligting the importance of simplicity in life for spiritual leaders as well as the members of the Church. Leaders have to set the bar little high; people shall not provide them with luxury and unwantged things and encourge them to use it.
Only those who are in the habit of doing it need be offended by the article. I wish serious articles like that of Limoo appear in your blocg. Please set the quality bar little more high for your blog too.
