ഇത്തമ്മ പതിവുപോലെ കോലം കെട്ടി, ചായം പൂശി, ടിറ്റി മോളെയും ഒരുക്കിക്കെട്ടി ഇറങ്ങിയപ്പോള്‍ സമയം വൈകി . പള്ളിയില്‍ ചെന്നപ്പോള്‍ പാര്‍ക്കിംഗ് ലോട്ട് ഫുള്‍. കുടുംബത്തെ പള്ളിയുടെ മുമ്പില്‍ ഇറക്കി, വണ്ടിയിടാന്‍ ഒരിടമന്ന്വേഷിച്ചു പള്ളിക്ക് ചുറ്റും മൂന്ന് വലം വച്ചു. പിന്നെ രണ്ടും കല്‍പ്പിച്ചു കറമ്പന്റെ വീടിന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍ വണ്ടിയിട്ടിട്ട് ചെന്നപ്പോള്‍ കുര്‍ബാന പകുതി കഴിഞ്ഞു., praise the lord !
പള്ളിയകത്ത് കേറിയതെ 11 പട്ടക്കാരുടെ പ്രിഷ്ടഭാഗമാണ് കാണാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞത്. പള്ളിയുടെ പിറകില്‍ നിന്നു നോക്കിയപ്പോള്‍ വീടിനു പിറകിലെ picket fense കുത്തി നിറുത്തിയ പോലെയുണ്ട്. പാട്ട് കുര്‍ബാനയാണോ, അല്ലയോ, ഭാഷ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഓ മലയാളമോ എന്നൊന്നും ഉടന്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കാന്‍ കഴിയാഞ്ഞതില്‍ നിന്നും മുഖ്യ കാര്‍മ്മി ആരാണെന്ന് മനസ്സിലായി. നമ്മുടെ പള്ളിയിലെ മിക്കവാറും ചേച്ചിമാരെയും, ആന്റിമാരെയും കൊച്ചമ്മമാരെയും പ്രിഷ്ട ഭാഗം മാത്രം കണ്ടു തിരിച്ചറിയാനുള്ള പരിശുധാത്മാവിന്റെ ഒരു പ്രത്യേക വരം ഈയുള്ളവനുണ്ട്. എങ്കിലും നമ്മുടെ കാര്‍മ്മികരെ പുറംഭാഗം കണ്ടു തിരിച്ചറിയാന്‍ ഈ വരം പ്രയോജനപ്പെട്ടില്ല.
അങ്ങനെ ആരാണീ മറ്റു കാര്‍മ്മികര്‍ എന്ന് ചിന്തിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നപ്പോളാണ് രണ്ടച്ചന്മാരുടെ ഉടുപ്പുകള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍, അവരുടെ തോളിനു താഴെയായി ഒരു കൊച്ചു തല പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടത്. അതൊരു കിശുവായ അച്ഛനായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ആ രണ്ടച്ചന്മാര്‍ക്കും ഇടയില്‍ ഹോട്ട് ഡോഗില്‍ dill pickle ഇരിക്കുംപോലെ, അല്ല ഒരു ഹോട്ട് പെപ്പെര്‍ ഇരിക്കും പോലെ അങ്ങനെ ഞെങ്ങിക്കൂടി നില്‍ക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
ആരാണീ കുള്ളന്‍ എന്നായി പിന്നത്തെ ചിന്ത.
അപ്പോഴാണ്‌ ഓര്‍മ്മവന്നത്. ഇത് മറ്റാരുമല്ല. നമ്മുടെ കൊട്ടാര വിദൂഷകന്‍ . റാസ്പുടിന്‍ . കടുപ്പന്‍ തന്നെ.
ആശാന്‍ രണ്ടുമൂന്നു മാസങ്ങളായി കേരളത്തിലായിരുന്നല്ലോ. അവിടെ എന്തായിരുന്നു പണി എന്നറിയില്ല. അരമന പറയുന്നു, അമ്മക്ക് സുഖമില്ലായിരുന്നു എന്ന് . ചില നാട്ടുകാര്‍ പറയുന്നു, അല്ല, നാട്ടില്‍ ഫാ. സജി തെളിക്കുന്ന കാട്ടുതീ തല്ലിക്കെടുത്താന്‍ പോയതാണെന്ന്. മറ്റു ചിലര്‍ പറയുന്നു, ഇതൊന്നുമല്ല, ഒരു സഹായ മെത്രാന്‍തൊപ്പി തപ്പി കേരളത്തിലെ അരമനകള്‍ മുഴുവന്‍ ചെക്കുബുക്കുമായി കയറി ഇറങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നെന്നു. ഇനിയും മറ്റു ചിലര്‍ പറയുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം റബര്‍ തോട്ടത്തില്‍ ഒരു മിന്നല്‍ പരിശോധനക്കും വീടുപണി എവിടെ വരെ പുരോഗമിച്ചെന്നു നേരിട്ട് കണ്ടു മനസ്സിലാക്കാനും പോയതാണെന്ന്. വീണ്ടും പുതിയ ഒരു റബര്‍ തോട്ടം നോക്കി വില പറയാന്‍ പോയതാണെന്ന് പറയുന്ന അസൂയക്കാരും ഉണ്ട്. ഈ അവസാന വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ പെട്ടവര്‍ മിക്കതും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സഹവൈദികര്‍ തന്നെ.
അതെന്തുമാകട്ടെ. ആള് തിരിച്ച് ലാന്‍ഡ്‌ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. അതിനുള്ള ഏറ്റവും വലിയ തെളിവാണ് കോപ്പെലില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള പുതിയ ന്യൂസ്‌.
പുതിയ ന്യൂസ്‌ എന്താണെന്നോ? കൈക്കാരന്മാരെക്കൊണ്ട് ഒപ്പിടുവിക്കാനായി ഒരുടമ്പടി മെത്രാന്‍ എഴുതി വികാരിയച്ചന് അയച്ചു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ഈ ഉടമ്പടി കണ്ടാല്‍ അമേരിക്കന്‍ പ്രസിഡന്റ്‌ ഒബാമ വരെ അസൂയപ്പെട്ടുപോകും. അമേരിക്കന്‍ സെനറ്റര്‍മാര്‍ ജനങ്ങളെയും രാഷ്ട്രത്തെയും സേവിക്കും, ഭരണഘടനയെ സംരക്ഷിക്കും എന്ന് മാത്രമേ സത്യ പ്രതിജ്ഞ ചെയ്യുന്നുള്ളൂ. അല്ലാതെ ഒബാമയെ മാത്രം സേവിക്കും, ഒബാമയെ മാത്രം അനുസരിക്കും എന്നൊന്നും പ്രതിജ്ഞ ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല.

Guys be reasonable:
They already taken oath in the beginning once.
There is no need for any other oath or contract between kikarans and Bishop.
Kikarans are here to protect the interest of the parish community they represent, they don't have to agree with whatever bishop wants,
in this case, where the parishioners wants only crucifix and Bishop wants Claver Cross.
Who ever signed this contract proved once again they don't represent this Parrish community, and support whatever Bishop wants, this means one thing these two kikarans signed this contract have no right to continue as the kikarans of this Parrish.
Patrimony:
Out of 370 families from Garland Church 170 families became Coppel parish members and 65 families became knanaya parish members, that leaves only 135 families in Garland Church.
The total asset of Garland church is about 3.5 million dollars for the hall and the land.
Patrimony for Coppell church should be 2 million dollars from Garland Church, Bishop cheated us by giving only $120,000 instead of 2 million dollars by playing big time drama with help of Kavalam gang.
BISHOP please arrange the rest of patrimony payment from Garland Church to Coppell church at your earliest.
Is our bishop a protestant?
When I was little, I knew of only two religions - Christian and Hindu. Then I heard of Muslim, Jainese, and Budhist religions. A bit later I learned of all the sub groups in Christianity, like Malabar, Malankara, and Latin catholics. Then I learned of Protestants, Methodists, Baptists, Presbyterian, Uniterian, etc.
Along the way, I also learned that the difference between protestants and catholics is that, protestants don't believe in pope and they don't obey the Pope's orders.
Our pope said to install crucifix on the altar. Our bishop and archbishop are insisting on having syro cross on the altar. Even now they are playing all kinds of silly games against the crucifix. They are being stubbon like two year old kids. They are throwing temper tandrums in the form of firing Fr.Saji, freezing church's bank account, closing down the church, insisting on blessing the church again, and now asking the trustees to sign some silly balonie written on plain piece of paper.
Our bishop and archbishop are refusing to obey pope's orders to install crucifix on the altar. This is what protestants are doing. That is, disobeying the pope and rejecting his authority. When we disobey the pope, we fall into the protestant category.
I know I am not a protestant. Are you? Is our bishop a protestant? Is our archbishop a protestant? What do you think?

I am 35 years old. Fed up with Angady. If Kaduppan is the next Bishop, I have seen last of SMC in USA. I would like to become active once Angady is out. Hope good sense will prevail in Kakkanadu & Rome, & Kaduppan never becomes Bishop. All the big kahunas in Garland parish should not forget this: until a year ago, at least half of all your church's income came from people of coppell parish. At least half of Garland church's assets came from members of coppell parish. Think about that when you raise your nose up in the air.

I read your articles and comments very often.i really understand yor frustration and anger very well.I woud like to share some of my personal experiences.In catholic church east or west no justice, no democracy.If you are looking for it from the athorities you will loose your eye sight . Also please do understand there are very good priests who work in the church for the people.
The idea of replanting a churc from kerala to US is the most stupid thing you can see and experience.Very often it is not for the glory of God but for the selfish motivation of the authoritarian bishops.The whole problem here in
chicago and around are signs of that.
