So much for Bishop Angadiath's attempt to shove the Marthoma cross down the throat of the faithful through the back door. There is no question the Bishop is finished in Coppell. It goes without saying that any renewed attempt by the Bishop to play more mischief will bring hordes of media to Coppell like hungry vultures.
Coppell has been a disaster for the Bishop. It was unprecedented that the Coppell parishioners faced the camera with courage and conviction.
This bodes not well for the Bishop and his gang. Now they realize that the people are not afraid of them, denying them their greatest advantages: silence, timidity and servility. The American media has opened a big can of worms for the authorities.
The story of Coppell faithful is legendary. Their fight for the Crucifix and true Catholic faith will shine as a beacon in the Syro Malabar Community is the US.
We believe Coppell to be Bishop Angadiath's KURUKSHETRA. We doubt he can recover anytime soon from this disaster of his own making.
This entry of Syro Malabar issue into US media world is not good for the authorities. Until now they operated under the radar. From now many a news outlet is going to come knocking. Yes, Syro Malabar church in the US and its Bishop is in the cross-hairs of American news camera lenses.
It is also possible that the increased attention of the Media can also attract increased scrutiny of the Church by various Federal agencies. IRS, Homeland Security to name a couple. While such scrutiny can be of great benefit to the public, the skeletons that might tumble out of the ecclesiastical closets can be of great embarrassment to the Church. Our faithful is deeply concerned about the lack of transparancy and openness in the affairs of the diocese. Many lay leaders privately admit there are serious financial mismanagement or misappropriation both in the parishes and missions and also in the diocesan administration.
This is only the first shot. More news coverage will be forthcoming in the days ahead. Garland, Frisco issue, Phoenix, Florida games of Fr Zach, finally, Chicago and the story of the brutal suppression of freedom of worship of Syro Malabar faithful by a demented, dictatorial and highly partisan Bishop.
Syro Malabar Voice will roar until freedom to worship the Crucifix in our churches is guaranteed by our bishop.

The people in positions of authority ie the pastor, the parish council, CCD teachers and leaders of misc organization should lead in this effort and should be role models.
