പള്ളിയില്‍ ഏത് കുരിശ് സ്ഥാപിക്കണമെന്ന് തീര്‌ മാനിക്കാനുള്ള അധികാരം പാരിഷ് കൌണ്‍സിലിനു ആര് കൊടുത്തു എന്ന് മനസ്സിലാകുന്നില്ല. ഈ പാരിഷ് കൌണ്‍സില്‍ ആകട്ടെ യഥാര്‍ഥത്തില്‍ പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കുന്നത് ജനങ്ങളെയല്ല. പ്രത്യുത അധികാരികളെയാണ്. അധികാരികള്‍ക്ക് അഭികാമ്യരായവരെ മാത്രമേ കൌണ്‍സിലില്‍ കയറിപ്പറ്റാന്‍ അവര് അനുവദിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളൂ. ഒരു പറ്റം സഭാ /സാമുദായിക ദ്രോഹികളാണ് പാരിഷ് കൌണ്‍സിലില്‍ ഇരിക്കുന്നതെന്നിരിക്കെ അവര്‍ക്കെങ്ങനെ ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു തീരുമാനം എടുക്കാന്‍ കഴിയും.
കോപ്പെലിലെ അനുഭവങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും നമ്മുടെ സഭാധികാരികള്‍ ഒന്നും തന്നെ പഠിച്ചിട്ടില്ല എന്ന് വേണം മനസ്സിലാക്കുവാന്‍. അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന്റെ താമര ഈ അമേരിക്കന്‍ കുളത്തില്‍ വളരില്ല എന്ന് എന്തുകൊണ്ട് അദ്ദേഹം മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ല. ഒരു കാര്യം അദ്ദേഹം മനസ്സിലാക്കണം. അര്‍ത്ഥമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു മരത്തടിക്ക് വേണ്ടി അങ്ങാടിയത്ത് ഒറ്റയ്ക്ക് യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ ക്രൂശിത രൂപത്തിന് പിന്നില്‍ അണി നിരക്കുന്നത് ഞങ്ങള്‍ ആയിരങ്ങളാണ്. വെറും രണ്ട് വര്‍ഷങ്ങളെ ആയിട്ടുള്ളൂ ഈ കുരിശ് യുദ്ധം ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ട്. പൊള്ളയായ വിജയങ്ങള്‍ ചിലത് കള്ളത്തരത്തില്‍ ബിഷപ്‌ നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ടാകാം. പക്ഷെ അതിനദ്ദേഹം വളരെ വലിയ വില കൊടുക്കേണ്ടി വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ശാശ്വത വിജയം ക്രൂസിഫിക്സിനു മാത്രം!

Garland may have a similar situation where people are frustrated with the games and they will stop making the payments. Majority of the people want to have Crucifix and some people do not mind Persian Cross.
If anybody in the authority has even little guts, let them take a suggestion from public and see what's their interest. Ohh.. I forgot, What a fool I am... Am I not seeing what's happening in Koppel.
I am from Chicago and I have witnessed the "Very Wrong Actions' by Excellency Mar Jacob Bishop. I have deep respect for authority and Sabha and initially I did not care about the cross and Sheela. But now... It's way too much and it's crossing all boundaries.
Why I am against now and not earlier?
I realized Bishop was very wrong in handling Fr Sajy at Koppel and I was wondering that "Didn't the Bishop need to answer before God?" Am I wasting my money donating to sysro church in Chicago?.
I paid more than 10K to Chicago parish and I pay an average of 1K every year as a total of my weekly donations (52*15+). But I am at a point to decide that this money can be fruitful for some poor families who deserve it in my home country.
The Bishop, who lives in a 2.2 Million house does not care if I pay or not. The extravagant spendings and royalty does not relate to what I expect my Bishop's life style to be. The attention and concentration of Bishop and Sabha is in installing cross and the other symbols to "Establish" the Syro "Rights". It does not matter if people fight each other or if people do not pay to church.
Catholic Church always wins because they know the disciples will never go anywhere. But it's time to realize that the same Catholics can be there in the same church by "NOT" paying the "Unnecessary" money too. It’s not our mistake. It’s the mistake Sabha is doing and cultivating.

Pastors of all Syromalabar Catholic Churches to install Crucifixes in all their altars, if it is different; and to remove all Marthoma Crosses and any other crosses without Jesus on them from all their altars if there is any.
The crosses, other than crucifixes, without Jesus on them are like the donkey in the story which went a second time to Jerusalem without Jesus on it. When the donkey went a second time to Jerusalem without Jesus on it, the donkey was rejected, beaten & pushed away from the way of the people. The same people cried, Hosanna and proclaimed: "Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord. Peace in heaven and glory in the highest", while Jesus was on the donkey first time.
So we strongly ask all the responsible Rev. Bishops & Rev. Priests and Rev. Pastors of all Syromalabar Catholic Churches to do the above.

Who is Mani and Manicheanism?
The Iranian historian Biruni in 1,000 AD mentions, "the majority of the Eastern Turks, the inhabitants of China and Tibet, and many in India belong to the religion of Mani".
New translations of St. Augustine's writings against Manicheans also provided substantial information.
St. Augustine, one of the founding fathers of the Christian Church, was a Manichean and a Hearer for eight years earlier in his life.
He later turned against the Manicheans and criticized it harshly in his writings and proclaimed it to be heresy.
St. Augustine condemned Mani for teaching that Christ was not human, but a divine being temporarily inhabiting an illusory body, and that the Holy Spirit was none than the "other self" of Mani himself.
As such Mani was more or less the incarnation of the Holy Spirit, though in a less purely divine form than Christ.
Manicheans rejected the Old Testament entirely and most of the New Testament, keeping only the book of Matthew and praising Christ whom became a central figure in the faith.
They developed a straightforward explanation for the existence of evil. Evil existed because of the bad god, and existed in humans because the principles of light and darkness were unnaturally mixed in human beings.
They followed Mani's Ten Commandments, which forbade idolatry, mendacity, greediness, murder (i.e. all killing), fornication, theft and seduction to deceit, magic, hypocrisy, and religious indifference. There was also prayer and fasting as common duties for all.
Manicheanism spread with extraordinary rapidity in the East and maintained a sporadic and intermittent existence in the West (Africa, Spain, France, North Italy, the Balkans) for a thousand years, but it flourished mainly in the land of its birth, (Mesopotamia, Babylonia, Turkestan) and even further east in India, Western China, and Tibet, where it survived for almost a 1,000 years.
Mani (Manytos, Manentos and by St. Augustine always Manichaeus) is a title and term of respect rather than a personal name. It is probably from the Babylonian-Aramaic Ma’ meaning "light-spirit" or the "Light King" and "the illustrious" as Mani came to be known.
He was born into a noble Iranian family around 215AD, in the village of Mardinu in Ecbatana (Hamadan). His father was a man of strong religious conviction, and left Ecbatana to join the South Babylonian Puritans, Mandaean Baptists and had his son educated by them.
Mani received his first revelation at age twelve. “The angel Eltaum (God of the Covenant; Tamiel of Jewish Rabbinical lore appeared to him, bade him leave the Puritans, and live chastely, but to wait still some twelve years before proclaiming himself to the people".
It was its popularity and rapid expansion that resulted in the murder of its founder Mani by the Sassanian King Bahram I, and persecution of his followers by both the Persians and the Christian rulers.
Within a generation after Mani's death, his followers had settled all the way to the Malabar Coast.
So we are worshiping the Iranian Persian cross used by Mani as the holy spirit on the cross.......
