Thanksgiving and Christmas should be celebrated in a house with family and friends. Now there is a tendency of celebrating in SMC churches. What is the purpose of celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas? To strengthen the relationships and bonds between close family and friends, have fun, eat and drink. Celebrating with a roomful of strangers engaging in awkward small talk does nothing to bring holiday cheer. Before I make my reservation to visit family for the holidays, I call in advance to inquire of the venue for the celebration. We have close family in Houston, but we no longer go there for Christmas because of the Christmas eve party taking place in the church.

This whole idea of hijacking all family celebrations to the church is not new. If you have a family that you love then you wont participate in these celebrations administered by the priest. He is thinking only about ways to collect money from you. Any way the best way to also know a family is to see its dependence on the church. Many escape to the church when they have no idea on how to address their family problems. HRNs are heavily involved these days to please their wives and show that they are nice people

Look back into the history and see how these so called kings took away the sacred and private family traditions to the Churches. The people who depend on the church and run away to it on the weekends must correct their family problems and be happy in the first place.Then God will bless you with more than what you need. Involve in charity work and visit different churches around you. Be a member of the nearest church. Do not waste your precious time of life like this.You spiritual life is sacred ground and don't substitute that with the social gatherings and the fun you have on Sundays at the 00-Malabar church and Manglish Mass.

They won't tell us how much they received, they won't tell us what they are doing with the money. We can see that they are flying all over the USA for sunday mass. They are in Coppell one sunday, in Tampa next sunday, in New Jersey two days later, then off to California the day after!
Now we know what you are doing with our money.

Children' performance
All the children who participated in the activity today did a great job.
In spite of the short notice they performed well.
I wish parents encourage children to make use of this kind of simple opportunities
which will boost their confidence. It matters a lot in their future life.
To get practice to deliver a good speech is far superior and greater than any other training.

I don't think Bosco will come for our Vencherippu because he is so busy with solving the fight between CMI Congregation and the Archdiocese of Trichur regarding the issues in Thalor. Also, Bosco is not that cheap to do a second Vencherippu like ours.

That issue is already resolved. Thrissur Bishop gave new place to Thalor parishnoers to start a new church. They opened a temporary church and started mass there.

The SMC-Chicago diocese is filled with dirt and all thieves are in the same boat. I think ഫാ. ശാശ്ശേരി needs to learn more about the Manichaean history and then try to justify his stand on mar-thoma cross. I hope the good Lord will helps him in this direction. Why SMC-Chicago is afraid of Crucifix, are they Satan’s agents?
Do not expect anything better from ഫാ. ശാശ്ശേരി. Whosoever deviates and deceives the faith full to a wrong biblical precept is the curse of our SMC-Chicago. Why these so called priest cannot understand that. If the Bishop is going enforcing another stupid pegan initiative, do these priests will accept it or reject the bishop’s offer for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus.
The SMC-Chicago diocese is filled with dirt that needs to be cleansed from top to bottom. The Chicago Syro Malabar Diocese lost her trust among the faithful. The Bishop’s and the priest responsibility is to unite the faithful based on biblical principles.
Fight for the crucifix and reject the pagan mar-thoma (Manichean) cross and request to remove the pegan symbol from all churches to restore the unity and trust.

When Jesus prayed he had only love to the enemies in his heart. You have hatred and you grew up lacking the love you deserved as a child. Pray to god on your knees in front of the crucifix to teach you how to give and revive the love from others as well as the Lord.Then your prayers will work. Clean up the heavy heart which by the way is heavy due to lack of love to others. You are centered on YOU and love towards your own goals.When you have the openness to listen to others you wont be shocked like you are now.Bless your heart.
The issue in Thalor is not yet solved. The current issue is on the administration of the cemetry. Since the CMI and the Trichur Archdiocese didn't reach an agreement, about 300 people from the CMI group has gone to the so called "Kakkanad' to see the so called "Cardinal" for informing their complaints against Archbishop Thazhath who is a Major Archbishop candidate. But they were not allowed to see the bedridden Cardinal and Bosco appeared to them and heard their complaints. Now for the Zero Malabar Church, Mar Varkey is just only a cardinal with no voting power to elect the next Pope and Bosco is functioning as the Major Archbishop. Watch and see who will be the next Major Archbishop- Thazhath or Bosco or Porunnodam. Bosco and Porunnodam supported us a lot in our fight in Coppell.
