ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട എല്ലാ സഹ ബ്ലോഗര്‍മാരോടും ഈ കൊച്ചാപ്പിയെന്ന കിഴവന് ഒരു അഭ്യര്‍ത്ഥന ഉണ്ട്.
നമ്മള്‍ ആരെയും വിധിക്കാന്‍ യോഗ്യരല്ല. വിധി നിര്‍ണ്ണയിക്കേണ്ടവന്‍ സര്‍വ ചരാചരങ്ങള്‍ക്കും അധിപനും, ഈ പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിന്റെ നായകനും സര്‍വ മഹത്വങ്ങള്‍ക്കും അര്‍ഹനും എന്നെന്നും സ്തുതിയും സ്തോത്രവും സമര്‍പ്പിക്കപ്പെടെണ്ടവനും ആയ കര്‍ത്താവീശോമിശിഹാ ആകുന്നു.
നമ്മള്‍ ദൈവത്തിനു കൊടുത്ത , ദൈവം നമ്മില്‍ കൃപാവരത്താല്‍ ചൊരിഞ്ഞ അനുഗ്രഹത്തിന്റെ ദശാംശമോ ശതാംശമോ എന്തുമാകട്ടെ , അത് അപഹരിച്ചു ചാന്‍സലര്‍ അച്ചന്‍ നാട്ടില്‍ റബ്ബര്‍ തോട്ടം മേടിച്ചെന്നോ , പെങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മണിമാളിക പണിതെന്നോ ഒക്കെ ഉള്ള ആരോപണങ്ങള്‍ നമുക്ക് ഇവിടെ വച്ച് അവസാനിപ്പിക്കാം. അദേഹം ഈ പദവിയില്‍ നിന്നും വിട വാങ്ങുന്നു എന്ന് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ച സ്ഥിതിക്ക് ഇനി നമുക്ക് അദേഹത്തെ വെറുതെ വിടാം. എന്തൊക്കെയാണെങ്കിലും അദ്ദേഹം , സര്‍വവും ത്യജിച്ചു ജീവിതം ദൈവത്തിനായി സമര്‍പ്പിച്ചു , സ്വയം ഉരുകിത്തീരാന്‍ തീരുമാനമെടുത്ത ഒരു വ്യക്തിത്വത്തിന് ഉടമയല്ലേ?...പിന്നീട് ആ തീരുമാനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വിപരീതമായി എന്തൊക്കെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ ജീവിതത്തില്‍ സംഭവിച്ചാലും , ഒരു ദുര്‍ബ്ബല നിമിഷത്തില്‍ അദ്ദേഹം അങ്ങിനെ ഒരു തീരുമാനം എടുത്തല്ലോ !
.........ഞാനും ഒരു ദുര്‍ബ്ബല നിമിഷത്തില്‍ അങ്ങിനെ ഒരു തീരുമാനം എടുത്ത വ്യക്തി ആണ്. ...പക്ഷെ!.... ഫലവത്തായില്ല...ദൈവം തിരുമാനസ്സായില്ല എന്ന് പറയുകയാവും കൂടുതല്‍ ശരി!...തലേവര ഇല്ലാതെ പോയി!... ആല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഒരു പക്ഷെ ഞാന്‍ ഇന്ന് ചിക്കാഗോ ബിഷപ്‌ ആയി വാണരുളിയേനെ!...എങ്കില്‍ പണ്ടേക്കു പണ്ടേ വല്ല ഹാര്‍ട്ട് അറ്റാക്കും വന്നു ചത്ത്‌ മണ്ണടിക്കാവില്‍ ചേക്കേറിയേനെ!.....അത് പോലെയുള്ള stress ആണല്ലോ നമ്മുടെ സീറോ മലബാര്‍ ബലിയാടുകള്‍ ഇടയനു നല്‍കുന്നത്!......പക്ഷെ ഒന്ന് ഞാന്‍ പറയാം......ഞാന്‍ ബിഷപ്‌ ആയിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ , ഏതു പട്ടിക്കണ്ടന്‍ പറഞ്ഞാലും ശരി, ബൈബിളില്‍ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന സംഗതികള്‍ അല്ലാതെ , സത്യമായിട്ടുള്ള രക്ഷയുടെ ചിഹ്നമായ ക്രൂശിത രൂപമല്ലാതെ , കണ്ട അണ്ടനും അടകോടനും , ചെമ്മാനും ചെരുപ്പ് കുത്തിയും പറഞ്ഞുതന്ന ക്ലാവരും ശീലയും ഈ രൂപതയുടെ കീഴിലുള്ള ഒരു പള്ളിയില്‍ പോലും പ്രദര്‍ശിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ നാം തിരുമനസ്സാവില്ലെന്നു ഇതിനാല്‍ ഉറപ്പു തരുന്നു. പക്ഷെ ഫലിച്ചില്ലല്ലോ! എല്ലാം ദൈവ തിരുമനസ്സ്!...

കടുപ്പനെ കുറിച്ച് പലരും പലതും എഴുതി എന്നാല്‍ എന്റെ ഒരു friend ന്റെ അനുഭവം ഇവിടെ എഴുതുന്നു. കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്ഷം CCD coordinators ന്റെ conference ന് ചിക്കാഗോ യില്‍ പോയിരുന്നു. പതിവുപോലെ ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ friend ന്റെ വീട്ടില്‍ ആണ് stay ചെയ്തതു. ഞങ്ങള്‍ രാത്രി രണ്ടു large അടിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ പണ്ട് പോകാറുള്ള Milma Booth ല്‍ പോയാലോ എന്ന് ചോതിച്ചു. അവന്‍ പറയുകയാണ് " മാഷേ ഞാന്‍ അതെല്ലാം നിര്‍ത്തി". നീ അടുത്തെങ്ങാനും ധ്യാനം കൂടാന്‍ പോയോ ? അതാണോ മനം മാറ്റത്തിനു കാരണം എന്ന് ഞാന്‍ ചോതിച്ച‍പ്പോള്‍ അവന്‍ പറഞ്ഞത് " കടുപ്പന്റെ കൂടെ നരകത്തില്‍ കിടക്കുന്നത് ഓര്‍ത്തപ്പോള്‍ ഇനി ഒരു പാപവും (sin) ചെയ്യില്ല എന്ന് തീരുമാനം എടുത്തു ". കടുപ്പന് മൂലം ചിലര്കെല്ലാം പ്രയോചനം കിട്ടിയല്ലോ എന്ന് ഓര്‍ത്തു ഞാന്‍ ഗുഡ് നൈറ്റ്‌ പറഞ്ഞു കിടക്കാന്‍ പോയി.
കടുപ്പന് കിട്ടിയ ഗാര്‍ലാന്‍ഡിലേ കിഴിയുടെ രഹസൃം!

The following need to be followed around USA and in all churches.
1. Educate the parishioners why the claver cross and sheela are important with scientific proofs. Please do not come with the "Traditions". Bring convincing facts based on FAITH. And why we must accept claver cross over crucified Jesus. We will accept it with the greater obedience.
I want to point out one simple live example, which is kind of a feeling everybody need to think about.
Example: From our childhood, we see our Appan. And the only way we know he is our Appan, because of the faith in our parents. Tomorrow if your mother tell you that, somebody else is your Appan, she better show me the DNA result too.
What authority has to understand or realize is, we never complained when you change the design of an alter, when you turn around and offer the qurbana, when you asked as to kneel down after the Kazhchaveppu etc… You make any changes like you have already made which fit the traditions we do not care.
But Crucified Jesus is the ULTIMATE faith. It’s universally accepted. When you touch that and try to replace with a man made AD600 cross, which does not have any SOLID proof behind it, a born catholic will feel pain and we will protest it. And it’s not because we are not listening to Sabha and it’s because we are TRUE catholic.
We all are NOT perfect. We have our issues and sometimes I think is that is that right to raise my VOICE against Bishop or authority. Initially I thought No, I should not. But the fiasco actions by the Diocese, the financial failures by the Diocese, firing priest in Coppel with baseless reasons, cheating the entire people by forcing and blackmailing with the power – this force me to come out of my shell and stand for my FAITH. I am faithful catholic servant and I will always want to be one. The crucified Jesus gives me the power to raise from my sins and the same Jesus is advising me to lead a good life with family. And I will always defend him if my intelligent brain tells me that it’s right. I cannot be a FOOL anymore by assuming the “Bishop’s and Team’s wisdom will lead me to heaven.
2. Initiate the actions to get the claver cross and sheela approved in all Diocese. If you cannot convince other SMC Bishops who are representing God on earth, why do you expect us to follow the same.
3. Show the courage to implement the cross and sheela in day light and not through crooked techniques. (Example - 11 Million Chicago Alter with a circus tent on top. Any fools can make out it was a last minute decision. And even vicar Fr Antony agreed that it was a last minute change and it was pre-planned.)

ഈ നാറികള്‍ ലാറ്റിന്‍കാര് വില്‍ക്കുന്ന അണ്ടര്‍വെയര്‍ വാങ്ങിച്ച് ഇട്ടുനടക്കുബോള്‍ ലാറ്റിന്‍കാരോട് വിരോധമില്ല!നല്ലകാരൃങ്ങളും ഇഷ്ടപെട്ടതും ലാറ്റിന്‍! പൊട്ടതരങ്ങള്‍ പാലാ , ചങ്ങനാശ്ശേരി , കാഞ്ഞിരപ്പള്ളി!
[ ഡോ . കൊച്ചാപ്പിയുടെ അഭ്യര്‍ത്ഥന ] - യെന്ന പംക്തിയില്‍ ആദ്യത്തെ കമന്‍റ് എനിക്ക് വളരെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു . ഒരാളെങ്കിലും രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടല്ലോ എന്നോര്‍ത്തു ദൈവത്തിനു നന്ദി പറയുന്നു . നരകത്തെ പേടിയില്ലാത്തവര്‍ ആരുംത്തന്നെയില്ല . കൊച്ചാപ്പി ചേട്ടന്‍ സൂചിപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ കടുപ്പന് നരകത്തിലായാല്‍ കടുപ്പന്റെ കൂട്ടാളികള്‍ എവിടെപോകും . എല്ലാത്തിനും മുകളില്‍ മുകളിലിരിക്കുന്ന നമ്മുടെ അങ്ങാടിയുടെ സ്ഥിതി എന്ത് . നരകത്തിനും മുകളില്‍ നരകത്തിനെക്കാളും സ്ട്രോങ്ങായി വേറെവല്ലതും ഒണ്ടോ , അങ്ങാടിപിതാവിനു സ്പെഷ്യല്‍ ആയിട്ട് ??????. കോപ്പെളിലെ വികാരി ബ്ലാ ബ്ലാ പോകുമ്പോള്‍ കുറെ അദികം കോഴി കൂടി കൊടുത്തുവിടണം . നരകത്തിലാകുമ്പോള്‍ ചാര്‍ക്കോള്‍ {കല്‍ക്കരി } വാങ്ങേണ്ടല്ലോ , ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ ച്ചുട്ടടിക്കമാല്ലോ . മൂപിലാന്‍ ഹാപ്പിയായിക്കോട്ടേ .

This old. We all represent the almighy god if you believe in him. Bishops and most priests are "money collectors" using god and some stupid "traditions" which they try to sell as "Holy".

Dear Bishop, You Just Made an ‘F’ in Your Witnessing for Jesus Christ, But Not All Is Lost – Tom Varkey
My six-year old granddaughter Ashley (not her real name) came to my wife the other day with great excitement. She told my wife that she had found out how old my wife is. She had been repeatedly asking my wife her age for quite some time. And always she would shy away as most women do. When my wife asked her how she was able to find out her age, Ashley replied that one day in grandma’s absence, she was going through her purse and was able to find her driver’s license and thus find out her age. But the amusing part was what she told grandma after that. She said, “You know grandma, what else I found out? I found out that you also made an ‘F’ in Sex”.
Now if I were to give a failing score ‘F’ to our Bishop Mar Angadiath, some of you may not give much more credence to my score for our Bishop than we give to Ashley’s score for her grandma in Sex. But I beg your hearing for some genuine reasons I have. In Mt. 5:16 Jesus tells us: “… let your light sine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Unlike what Jesus says, our Bishop installs his Mar Thoma Cross in the night at odd hours like 2:00 AM or some other similar hours in the night.
In Lk. 6:40 Jesus said: “A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher.” If Fr. Roy Kaduppil is an example of a student fully trained by our Bishop after being in Chicago for so many years, I don’t think he is somebody whom Jesus would proudly show off for what He said in Lk. 6:40. I think what he had in mind is what He said in Mt. 5:48: “Be ye perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.” In other words, the training that His Excellency Mar Jacob Angadiath is providing his subordinate priests has no resemblance to the training that Jesus had in mind. Fr. Roy Kaduppil and Fr. Zecharia are probably his best students that were fully trained by him. But based on what I hear about them, they are an embodiment of crookedness, dishonesty, financial mismanagement and greed. I sincerely hope that all the rumors I hear about them are wrong and I believe them to be wrong until I have more proof. But the more they wait to vindicate themselves from these allegations, the more I am tempted to believe that these rumors are true.

But the main reason why I am tempted to believe they may be true is the fact that our Bishop has not been a good witness for Jesus Christ in his own testimony through his own actions. His own hands are tainted with the blood of Fr. Sajy. Apparent improprieties in financial dealings that have occurred in Chicago involving the purchase of the condemned property for $800,000 only to be sold a couple of months later for mere $200,000, disappearance of funds from the cathedral construction fund, etc. have cast serious shadows on the integrity of our Bishop.
In Mt. 5:13 Jesus says: “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by me.” Our whole Syro-Malabar hierarchy in Chicago has lost its saltiness. No wonder apart from the Bishop himself, the list of priests who gets trampled under the feet of many of their own parishioners grows longer by each passing day. Suddenly the horror of what Prophet Jeremiah said in Lam. 4:1 has become so real: “How the gold has lost its luster, the fine gold become dull! The sacred gems are scattered at the head of every street.” All because our Syro-Malabar Hierarchy like our Bishop and Fr. Kaduppil and others have become such poor witnesses in witnessing to Jesus Christ and His Gospel.
Even under such hopeless prospects, I see a silver lining among the dark clouds for the Bishop to make things turn around. Yes, you guessed it. With no further adieu, tell the people of Garland that he is going to be a man of his own words. Boldly tell them that he will install the Crucifix in the new church as he promised the Garland parishioners in Coppell. And then back it up all the way as a true witness to Jesus Christ by delivering on your promise.
