അങ്ങനെ ഇപ്പോള്‍ അതും സംഭവിച്ചു. ആദ്യമായി ചിക്കാഗോ സീറോ മലബാര്‍ രൂപതയില്‍പ്പെട്ട ഒരു വൈദീകന്‍ കോടതി കയറി.
കൊപ്പെലില്‍ വികാരി ഫാ. വര്‍ഗീസിന്‍റെ അധ്യക്ഷതയില്‍ നടത്തി പൊളിഞ്ഞ പൊതുയോഗത്തിന്‍റെ ബാക്കിയാണ് ഇന്ന് ഇവിടെ കോടതിയില്‍ അരങ്ങേറിയത് . അന്ന് മി. ജോജോ കൊട്ടക്കലിനെ കള്ളക്കേസില്‍ കുടുക്കാന്‍ ഒട്ടും മടി കാണിക്കാതിരുന്ന അതെ അധികാരികള്‍, മറ്റൊരു കേസിന് കള്ള സാക്ഷി പറയുവാന്‍ കോടതിയില്‍ ചെന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
തന്നെ ആക്രമിക്കുകയും, തന്റെ കയ്യില്‍ നിന്നും ബലമായി മൈക്ക് തട്ടിപ്പറിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു എന്നാരോപിച്ച് മി ടോം വര്‍ക്കി, അന്നത്തെ സെക്രട്ടറി സാജുവിനെതിരെ പോലീസില്‍ കൊടുത്ത പരാതിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില്‍ ചാര്‍ജ് ചെയ്ത കേസിന്‍റെ വിചാരണയാണ് ഇന്ന് നടന്നത്. സാജുവിന് ധാര്‍മ്മിക പിന്തുണയുമായി സ്ത്രീ ജനങ്ങള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പടെ പത്തു പതിനഞ്ചു ക്ലാവര്‍ രോഗികള്‍ കോടതിയില്‍ ഹാജിരായിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ഒരാഴ്ച താന്‍ detroit ല്‍ ആയിരിക്കും എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് ഇന്നലത്തെ ഞായറാഴ്ച കുര്‍ബാന മറ്റൊരു വൈദീകനെ എല്പ്പിച്ചുട്ടു ഫാ. വര്‍ഗീസ്‌ മുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. എങ്ങനെ അദ്ദേഹം തപ്പിപ്പിടിച്ചു ഇന്ന് കോടതിയില്‍ എത്തി പെട്ടു എന്നറിയില്ല.
ബിഷപ്‌ അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന്റെയും ക്യൂരിയായുടെയും അറിവോടും അനുവാദത്തോടും കൂടിയാണ് ഒരു ക്രിമിനല്‍ കേസില്‍ സാക്ഷി പറയാന്‍ അദ്ദേഹം പോയത് എന്നതിന് സംശയമില്ല. "ഞാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടാണ് സാജു ടോമിന്റെ കയ്യില്‍ നിന്നും മൈക്ക് തട്ടിപ്പറിച്ചു എടുത്തത്" എന്ന് ഫാ വര്‍ഗീസ്‌ കോടതി മുമ്പാകെ സാക്ഷ്യപ്പെടുത്തി. ഇപ്പറഞ്ഞത്‌ സത്യമാണെങ്കില്‍ അത് തന്നെ ക്രിമിനല്‍ കുറ്റമല്ലേ എന്ന് മി. ടോം വര്‍ക്കി ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. പള്ളിയിലെ ഒരംഗത്തിന് അഭിപ്രായ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം നിഷേധിക്കുകയും, അതേസമയം മറ്റൊരാളെ ബലപ്രയോഗത്തിന് ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്യുകയും വഴി പുരോഹിതന്‍ താന്‍ അധ്യക്ഷനായുള്ള പൊതുയോഗത്തെ അലങ്കോലപ്പെടുത്തി ക്രമ സമാധാനം നശിപ്പിക്കുവാന്‍ സ്വയം കൂട്ടുനിന്നു എന്ന് തന്നെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ മൊഴി തെളിയിക്കുന്നു.

ഫാ വര്‍ഗീസിന്‍റെ പക്ഷവാദത്തിനു വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവാണ് കോടതിയിലെ ഇന്നത്തെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ സാന്നിധ്യം. പണ്ട് നിരപരാധിയായ ജോജോക്കെതിരെ കള്ള മൊഴി കൊടുത്ത ഫാ വര്‍ഗീസ്‌ ഇന്ന് ഒരു ക്ലാവര്‍ വാദിക്കു വേണ്ടി കള്ള സാക്ഷി പറയാന്‍ പോയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഒരു കത്തോലിക്കാ പുരോഹിതന്‍ ആണെന്ന് വിചാരിക്കണം. അദ്ദേഹം കോടതി കയറുക വഴി തന്റെ തിരുവസ്ത്രത്തെ അധിക്ഷേപിക്കുകയാണ് ചെയ്തത്. കൊപ്പെളില്‍ ജനങ്ങള്‍ ഇതില്‍ അത്യന്തം ക്ഷുഭിതരാണ്.
ക്ലാവര്‍ വാദികളുടെ ആശയപ്പാപ്പരത്തമാണ് ഇതെല്ലാം തെളിയിക്കുന്നത്. കാര്യ സാധ്യത്തിനായി എന്ത് അധര്‍മ്മം ചെയ്യുവാനും ഇക്കൂട്ടര്‍ മടിക്കില്ല എന്ന് ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌ പണ്ടേ അറിയാവുന്നതാണ്. ഫാ വര്‍ഗീസ്‌ ചിക്കാഗോ സീറോ മലബാര്‍ രൂപതയ്ക്ക് ഒരു പക്ഷെ വലിയ അപമാനമൊന്നും അല്ലായിരിക്കാം. പക്ഷെ ലോകമാന സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സഭക്കും ആഗോള കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭക്കും തന്നെ ഈ കള്ളപ്പുരോഹിതന്‍ ഒരു തീരാക്കളങ്കമാണ്‌.
ക്ലാവര്‍ വാദികളുടെ ആശയപ്പാപ്പരത്തമാണ് ഇതെല്ലാം തെളിയിക്കുന്നത്. കാര്യ സാധ്യത്തിനായി എന്ത് അധര്‍മ്മം ചെയ്യുവാനും ഇക്കൂട്ടര്‍ മടിക്കില്ല എന്ന് ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌ പണ്ടേ അറിയാവുന്നതാണ്. ഫാ വര്‍ഗീസ്‌ ചിക്കാഗോ സീറോ മലബാര്‍ രൂപതയ്ക്ക് ഒരു പക്ഷെ വലിയ അപമാനമൊന്നും അല്ലായിരിക്കാം. പക്ഷെ ലോകമാന സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സഭക്കും ആഗോള കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭക്കും തന്നെ ഈ കള്ളപ്പുരോഹിതന്‍ ഒരു തീരാക്കളങ്കമാണ്‌.
ഏതായാലും ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ ഈ കോടതി കയറ്റം വരാന്‍ പോകുന്നതിന്റെ ഒക്കെ ഒരു മുന്നോടിയായിരിക്കാം.

കള്ളാ സാക്ഷി പറയാന്‍ ജൈലും കോടതിയും പതിവായിട്ടുള്ള മാന്യന്മാര്‍ ഇക്കൂടെ ഉണ്ട് . ക്ലാവേര്‍ കള്ളന്മ്മാര്‍ അലവലാതി പെണ്ണുങ്ങള്‍ കോടതിയില്‍ നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു ഒരു നിരപരാധിയെ പോലീസിന് പിടിച്ചുകൊടുത്ത കൊപ്പേല്‍ പെണ്ണും പാണ്ടിചിയും കള്ളാ പാതിരിയും മുന്‍പില്‍ . വായെടുതാല്‍ നുണ മാത്രം പറയുന്ന അച്ഛന് ! ധ്യാനം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു മുങ്ങിയ കതന്നാര്‍ രാവിലെ ചൂട്ടും കത്തിച്ചു ആയിരം മൈല്‍ താണ്ടി എയര്‍ പോര്‍ട്ടില്‍ സാക്ഷി പറയാന്‍ എത്തി . ഇങ്ങനെയും ഒരു അജപാലകാന്‍ ! കമ്മിറ്റിയില്‍ ഇഷ്ടം അല്ലാത്തവനെ പോലീസിന് പിടിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുക കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് കള്ളാ കണക്കും ഫയലും മുക്കുന്നവന് വേണ്ടി കള്ളാ സാക്ഷി പറയുക താമര തടി മുകളില്‍ കെട്ടുക ഇതാണ് പുള്ളിയുടെ വയസ്സാം കാല വിനോദങ്ങള്‍ !
കൊന്നിട്ട് നടക്കുന്നവര്‍ വരെ പുറത്തു സുഖം ആയി നടക്കുന്നു , പക്ഷെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കോടതിയില്‍ ഇവര്‍ രെക്ഷ പെടുമോ ? പണ്ടേ ജയിലില്‍ പോകേണ്ടാവനെ അന്ന് രേക്ഷിച്ചു ഓര്‍മ്മയുണ്ടോ മോനെ ? എത്ര പ്രാവശ്യം ഇങ്ങനെ രേക്ഷിക്കാന്‍ പറ്റും . അന്ന് ഞങ്ങള്‍ രെക്ഷ പെടുത്തി ഇപ്പോള്‍ പെണ്ണുങ്ങളും ക്ലാവേര്‍ വാദികളും രേക്ഷപെടുത്തി . ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കു തിരിച്ചു വരൂ മോനെ നിന്റെ തല തെറിച്ച സ്വഭാവം നിര്‍ത്തി ഇനിയെങ്കിലും . ഇനി ഞങ്ങള്‍ പ്രാര്‍ഥിക്കാം നീ നന്നാകാന്‍ വേണ്ടി .

കോടതി കയറുന്നത് വലിയ പ്രശ്നമൊന്നുമല്ല . കര്‍ത്താവയാ യേശുവിനെ ഒരു രാത്രിയും അരപകലും കൊണ്ട് മൂന്നു കോടതികളില്‍ കള്ളക്കേസില്‍ വിസ്തരിച്ചവരാണ റോമാക്കാരും യെഹൂദ്ടരും . ലോകപ്രകാരം യേശു ശിക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു. അന്ന് നിഷ്കളങ്കനെന്നു മൂന്നു കോടതിയും വിധിച്ചിട്ടും , പൊതുജനങ്ങളുടെ ( majority ) പിടിവാശിക്കു മുന്‍പില്‍ കോടതിവിധി കാറ്റില്‍പറത്തിയ അധികാരികള്‍ , യേശുവിനെ പൊതുജനത്തിനു ശിക്ഷിക്കുവാന്‍ കൊടുത്തിട്ട് , മഹാപാപിയയിരുന്ന ബറബ്ബാസിനെ മോചിപ്പിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. തങ്ങള്‍ എന്തോ മഹാകാര്യം നേടിയതായി അവര്‍ തെറ്റിദ്ധരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഫലമോ, ലോകചരിത്രം കണ്ട ഏറ്റവും വലിയ നീചപ്രവര്‍ത്തിയില്‍ അവരും പങ്കാളികളയതായി ഇന്ന് നാം മനസിലാക്കുന്നു. അന്നത്തെ അവരുടെ അമിതമായഭക്തി(thats what they thought) അഥവാ മതാന്ധത അഥവാ പാരമ്പര്യത്തിലൂന്നിയ വിശാസം അഥവാ മതതീവ്രവാദം, സത്യം മനസ്സിലക്കുന്നതില്‍നിന്നും അവരുടെ മനസ്സിനെ അന്ധമാക്കിയിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെയുള്ള അബദ്ധങ്ങള്‍ അച്ചന്മാര്‍ക്കും അല്മായര്‍ക്കും പറ്റാതെനോക്കിയാല്‍ മതി. ദുരഭിമാനം (എനിക്ക് ധാരളമായുള്ളത്) ഒന്നിനും ശാശ്വത പരിഹാരം നേടിത്തരികയില്ല.

താഴെ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്ന പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനക്ക്‌ ശക്തി ഉണ്ട് എന്നുള്ള സത്യം ദിനം പ്രതി ഞാന്‍ മനസ്സില്ലാക്കി കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഇത് സഭയില്‍/പള്ളികളില്‍/സമൂഹങ്ങളില്‍ കാലക്രമേണ തെളിയിക്കപ്പെടും. ഈ പ്രാര്‍ഥന എന്നും ചൊല്ലിയാല്‍ എല്ലാവിധ ദുഷ്കര്‍മികളെയും കലഹപ്രിയരെയും നമ്മില്‍ നിന്നകത്തി സമാധാനവും സന്തോഷവും താനേ വന്നനയുന്നത് അനുഭവിക്കാന്‍ സാദിക്കും. സംശയമുണ്ടോ!? പരീക്ഷിച്ചു നോക്കിക്കേ! ശങ്കിക്കേണ്ട ഇത് ശരിക്കും നല്ല പ്രാര്‍ഥനയാണ്!

Well, what can I say? I am reminded of prophet Habbakkuk. In Hab. 1:2-4 the prophet asks: "Lord, how long can this go on? How long will you allow injustice and perversion of truth go on?" The answer comes as a consolation to the prophet in Hab. 2:11-13: "For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.
Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity. Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour for the fire, and the people shall weary themselves for vanity?" A day will come when each of the beams and windowpanes in the courtroom will cry out the truth because what they uttered was everything except truth. On Monday, these beams and doorknobs and windowpanes were all silent witnesses to the cold-blooded lies that were uttered in the courtroom by Fr. Varghese and the other witnesses that bore false witness against me.
I am sure many who support the Mar Thoma Cross will say that I am like the fox which jumped in the air to catch the grapes but could not and finally gave up saying that the grapes are sour and therefore he didn't care for them any way. But I am emphatically saying that the ultimate truth will be revealed one day when all those who bore false witness against me and denied the truth will themselves be silenced by the beams and other furniture in the courtroom which will cry out the truth as the Book of Habakkuk says. Until then, my position is as Habakkuk says: "No matter what whether there are grapes on the vine or not, whether there are figs or not on the fig tree, I will trust in the Lord my Savior who hangs on the Crucifix (and not the Mar Thoma Cross) for the sins of these liars who shamelessly uttered all sorts of lies in the courtroom on Monday during the trial. My prayer for them is "Lord, forgive them, for they do not know what they do."

Dear friends of the Crucifix, on Monday, June 6, 2011 one who was truly on trial was not Saju the defendant or me. It was the Chicago Syro-Malabar Church in general and the supporters of the Mar Thoma Cross in particular. It has once again become very evident that to support the Satanic Mar Thoma Cross, its supporters would go to any length including committing perjury in a court of law. This was nothing new to the rest of us who are in the vast majority though. It gave us a deeper insight once again that these supporters of the claver have no integrity and would do anything to support their own kind no matter how wrong they are. But my request to you who stand for the Crucifix is that we have to hold on to our accountability and love everyone. Hate what they do but love them as the bearers of God's image in which we all have been created. Let us pray for them and try to love them no matter how unlovable they may be or how detestable their actions may be. Thanks for all your support of me and the cause of the Crucifix. I have no doubt that the final victory will be ours no matter what they do or say whetehr in court, from the pulpit or anywhere else. In Rom. 8 we read that we are more than conquerers and it is all because of the one who hangs on the Crucifix. Let us give glory to him and carry out His mandate in our lives by loving all (including those who try to hurt us by resorting to even lying in a court of law). Believe me, we will continue to fight for the Crucifix no mater who will stand against us and we will win in the end. Period. An idol can never win over the glorious cross of Christ our Savior.

This is in response to my friend who asked me in this blog why I did not forgive Saju if I loved him as I stated I did. Here is my answer. In 2001 when I fought for the first time the battle for the Crucifix in Garland, nobody was with me to support me including my wife and my own mom. Almost every other day I used to argue with them about why I was doing it. They wanted me to go to St. Pius X Latin Rite Church which was nearby. But I never budged from fighting for the Crucifix. It was not because I did not love my wife and my mom. But I loved my Savior who went to the Cross for me shedding even the last drop of blood for my sins more than my wife or my mom.
Today also, my position has not changed towards the Crucifix. And as I have repeatedly stated before, I see the Crucifix as the only external symbol in our Catholic faith life that bears testimony to our faith in our Savior Jesus Christ. It is not I who say it – it is Paul who in my opinion was the greatest Christian and follower of Christ who ever lived. In 1 Cor. 11:1 he tells us: “Follow my example as I follow the example of Christ.” In Phil. 3:17-19 he tells: “Follow the pattern that I have set. For many walk even as I tell you weeping that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ; Their end is destruction, their God is their belly, and their glory is in their shame as they go after earthly things.” I feel very strongly for the followers of the Mar Thoma Cross to whom these words of Paul literally apply. That is why I repeatedly call the Mar Thoma Cross an idol. I see their destruction in the end and I love them too much to just close my eyes and sit on my arms as though nothing is happening. This is the only reason why I oppose anyone who abandons the Crucifix and goes after the Mar Thoma Cross. It is not because I do not love Saju and could not forgive him. If I allow Saju and the Bishop and the rest of the Claver gangs to go after the Mar Thoma Cross and install them in our churches, many people will be misled. The end of all these believers will be their destruction and they will end up in the fires of eternal hell.

Just as I will stop at any cost my four-month old granddaughter enamored by its beautiful but destructive color when trying to catch a flame with her own hands because of the consequences involved, I am trying to stop those who follow the Mar Thoma Cross because of the consequence of eternal fire involved as Paul says above. Therefore I also cannot allow the Crucifix which should be the object of pride and all boasting for a Christian being removed from any church only to be replaced by the Mar Thoma Cross. So I continue to fight for it. In Dt. 13:1-5 we read: “If there is among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder and speaks to you saying, ‘let us go after other gods, which thou has not known, and let us serve them, you shall not listen to his words. For the LORD your God is testing you to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. … that prophet, or that dreamer shall be PUT TO DEATH; because he has spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God. … So shall you put the evil away from your midst.’”
Such a situation exists today in the Syro-Malabar Church. The advocates of the Mar Thoma Cross are saying “let us go after another Cross” which we have not known. According to the above passage we have not known about the Mar Thoma Cross in the past. Therefore literally speaking we are to put to death those who thus advocate the Mar Thoma Cross. But for obvious reasons we are not going that far. Therefore, the next best thing we can do is to oppose it through legal action and through other ways against the Diocese and whoever stands in the way of trying to replace the Crucifix which alone is the Biblically-based cross with the Mar Thoma Cross which is man-made and therefore an idol. The case filed against Saju was an action along this line. This is perfectly in tune with what the Bible asks us to do. Remember the passage in Dt. 13:1-5 does not give us any wiggle room to forgive them. On the other hand it tells us to show no compassion at all but to put such people to death. So do realize that we are taking a very mild approach towards Bishop Angadiath or Saju or any of the other supporters of the Mar Thoma Cross who are either leading others to follow the Mar Thoma Cross or support others who do. Forgiving them for their mistakes or looking the other way when they are thus misleading the people of God would be to invite the anger of God by disobeying what He asks us to do in Dt. 13:1-5. This is the answer to the question my friend asked me in this blog and I thought I should answer it not only for his sake but also for the sake of many others who may have the same question.

When you remove the one from that figure trillion will become zero. The same way when you don’t obey Jesus, it is just like you remove the 1 from the sum of TRILLION. In the Old Testament, King David married more than 100 ladies to be his wives. King Solomon had seven hundred wives of princely rank and three hundred concubines (total 1000 women). TOM VARKEY has only one wife. How come you don’t have 100 or 700-1000 wives. If you marry like King David or King Solomon, you can go to jail. So you should not quote sentences from Old Testament to kill them who persuade you to go away from your faith (whether it is right or wrong). You can stay in your faith. YOU DON’T HAVE TO KILL OTHERS WHO PERSUADE YOU TO GO AWAY FROM YOUR FAITH OR ADVISE OTHERS TO KILL. It is the character of MUSLIM EXTREMISTS.

LATER, Some church leaders for certain selfish reasons stopped and banned it ie. BANNED breaking bread in Christians' homes everyday that was commanded by Jesus in Jesus' Last supper and authorized by St. Peter to break bread every day in Christians' homes.

But when man make the crucifix with wood and/or other materials, it never become Jesus' body or the cross where Jesus was crucified. So you should realy fight for voiding and removing the banning of breaking bread in Christians' homes that was done under the command of St. Peter, Jesus' First Pope. Clearing the Allegation that I have acted like a Terrorist
I don’t want to use this blog as an arena for holding shouting matches with my detractors by making arguments and counter-arguments back and forth. But since this is a very important issue not only from a Christian point of view in general and about worship in particular, I am going to clarify a couple of things in a response to the rebuttal offered by my friend about my answer on why I took Saju to court. First of all, let me correct my friend who stated that David had 100 wives. This is not true based on what we read in the Bible. Of course, he had more than one wife and probably eight. You cannot find in the Bible that he had more than eight. So let us be fair towards David by not by exaggerating and making him a husband of more wives than he actually had. Let us give him a break even though he committed the sin of adultery with Bathsheba who later on became his wife.
Even though it may not be on purpose, I see my friend making another gross exaggeration that I am like a Muslim terrorist. If my friend read my writings correctly, never have I advocated anyone to be put to death. Just because I quoted a verse in the Bible which contained some words describing what may sound like something that the Muslims terrorists do, it does not mean that they are mine nor am I advocating to practice what it says. Being a terrorist is not in the nature of anyone who stands for the Crucifix much less mine. It is more of a character of those who stand for the Mar Thoma Cross like those who tried to kill Bishop Jacob Thoomkuzhy and others like them. We don’t even physically attack anyone or deny them their fundamental rights like Saju and Fr. Varghese in Coppell or Fr. Joji in the Garland Syro-Malabar Church and many others belonging to the Mar Thoma Cross camp do. In fact there are extremely few even among staunch Catholics who would walk up to the one who won a case to congratulate him when that person happens to be the opposing party in the case that you just lost in the court. In this case, I am glad to point out that I did just that after losing my case with Saju even though … well you know what happened.
I think I see where the mistake has occurred. My friend seems confused about relating the New Testament with the Old Testament. For the benefit of my friend and the benefit of many others, let me point out a very simple but extremely important Biblical principle here. Whenever Jesus modifies an Old Testament commandment or principle, the new version replaces the Old Testament version of the principle. For example, in the Old Testament, it was taught that adultery was called adultery only when a physical act was involved. But Jesus modified it by making it much more stringent.

He said in Mt. 5:28 that when one looks at a member of the opposite sex lustfully, one has already committed adultery in one’s hart. In other words, looking lustfully is as bad as committing the physical act. In the case of loving your fellow human beings, the principle in the OT used to be “an eye for an eye and a tooth for tooth.” In other words if someone plucks out your one eye, it was OK to gouge out the one eye of the one who did it. But in the NT, we are commanded to love our enemies and do good to those who persecute and hurt us even if someone gouges out your eye.
I must state here that in the case of worship, the standard in the OT has not been changed by Jesus. Worship is the most sacred thing we do when we spend quality time with an Almighty God who is all holy and most pure. Here is the thrust of the point that I am trying to make here. In Dt. 13 I pointed out that if anybody tries to entice us to turn away from the true God, God asked us to stone that person to death. In the NT, this has been modified although the standard for worship has not changed. The standard is that we should have a pure heart. That is why in Mt. 5:23 Jesus said: “if you are getting ready to offer sacrifice and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your sacrifice there; go and reconcile with your brother and then come and offer your sacrifice.” In the place of the command that we put anybody who entices us to go after other gods to death we now have 1 Pet. 2:17. Here we read: “Honor all men. Love all brothers. Fear God. Honor the King.”
In the above passage “honor the King” means that we are commanded to obey and respect the civil law and obey all earthly authorities. And according to the civil law, we are not allowed to kill anybody even though in Dt. 13, “to stone to death” anyone who makes you turn away from the true God was OK. The reason is we have a modified law in the NT as we find in 1 Pet. 2:17. So I would never advice anyone to stone to death anyone who stands for the Mar Thoma Cross because this command has been changed. Another even clearer example will be Rom. 13:1-2 where we read: “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted.” This means that we must obey the U.S. law as long as we live in the U.S. But in accordance with what we read in Jn. 3:14 we are to obey God by displaying the Crucifix in our churches because God says so. Before we come together for worship, we must ensure that we have a pure heart by being willing to obey God in everything which is our standard for worship. There should not be any room for even the slightest unwillingness to deviate from Jn. 3:14. We should not also harbor even the slightest hatred towards our brothers when we are standing in front of the altar to offer sacrifice. If we are aware that somebody has anything against us let alone we have something against them, we are asked to go and reconcile with that brother or sister before we offer sacrifice.

From this it is evident how wrong it is for a priest to say lies from the pulpit during the Mass as many of our Syro-Malabar priests do now-a-days. And it goes without saying that a priest who has borne false witness against a parishioner in a court of law should certainly go to that offended parishioner before he can say the Mass. And in saying this, I sincerely hope that nobody will misunderstand me for saying this. I am simply quoting what Jesus said in Mt. 5:23. On a different note, the supporters of the Mar Thoma Cross are trying to remove the Crucifix from our churches in violation of Jn. 3:14. As long as we tolerate it without trying to resist it in whatever way we can, our mind is not properly disposed to total obedience to Jesus Christ and therefore not pure. Thus the Crucifix issue is not a simple matter as many of us think. It is extremely important to put our hearts and minds in order so that we can worship God with a pure heart. This is the reason why I went and congratulated Saju after losing my court case with him because my mind and heart should be totally pure and clean even to the point of making sure that others do not have anything against me let alone I have anything against them.
From the above long and drawn-out discussion even if you do not carry with you anything else, just remember at least this one principle regarding the Old Testament and the New Testament. We are all bound to obey the entire law whether in the New Testament or in the Old. But when the New Testament law has been modified by Jesus, this replaces the Old Testament form of the law. Remember what Jesus said in Mt. 5:17-18: “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by no means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.” So whenever you read anything from the Old Testament, the first thing that you should ask to yourselves is: “Has this law been changed by Jesus?” If the answer is “Yes”, we are not bound to obey the old version of the law in the Old Testament.
I hope this clarifies my position for my friend and drives away his doubts about me making him wonder if I am like a Muslim terrorist. I love everyone even when they do not support the Crucifix. But in order to stand in front of Almighty God to worship Him wholeheartedly, I must make sure that I have a pure heart. This means I must have done everything possible in my reach to be submissive to God by fighting against those who are trying to replace Jesus’ Cross which is the Crucifix with the abominable Cross which the Mar Thoma Cross is. Also to do this, I must follow the modified form of the law which God gives to us in 1 Pet. 2:17 and Rom. 13:1-3 which is the modified version of Dt. 13:1-5 in the Old Testament.

ANSWER: The reason is all Christians are priests according to the Word of God in verses Revelation 1:5--6. That is the reason under the command of St. Peter, Jesus First Pope, the Christians were breaking bread every day in their homes. Later for selfish & devilish reasons, it was stopped and/or made it sin. Those who are keeping banning the breaking of bread in Christians’ homes should read the rewards and/or punishments in verses Mathew 5:19 & Mathew 16:27 & 2 Cor. 5:10. The fight against banning and/or preventing breaking of bread in Christians’ homes should be NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.
Read: Acts 5:29. But Peter and the apostles said in reply, "We must obey God rather than men.
LET US USE OUR COMMON SENSE THAT GOD HAS GIVEN US AND BELIEVE IN GOD RATHER THAN MEN WHO TEACH AGAINST JESUS’ COMMANDMENTS & TEACHINGS.
