Last 2 years, I am watching you friends. Your passion towards Crucifix is remarkable and remember-able. And may God bless you in your future journey too.
On Fr Shasseri. I know him for last one year. He is a solid priest with values and 'priesthood pride". He has the right principles and values. And he is NOT a priest who get clogged into some material things or he cannot be influenced without bases. Knowing Fr Shasseri pretty well, in simple terms "He is NOT available for purchase". He knows people's feelings and he is a people person.
It's a painful memory that you had a great priest named Fr Sajy and he mas removed and taken away from you for "known and wrong reasons". Let's keep our love for Fr Sajy and show a part of it to Fr Shasseri to make our parish as an example to others. Let's work with Fr Shasseri to make us the members of a Happy Parish again like we were under Fr Sajy's.
Pl try to do the following and I know the fact that nobody is like Coppel when it comes to FAITH.
Remember - It's just the Beginning.
1. Respect Fr Shasseri as a PRIEST. He is God's Servant - NOT yours.
2. Tell him your passion towards Crucifix and tell him that we expect to respect that fact.
3. Please remind him about the promises Bishop had given you. And promises are promises and not expected to be broken.
4. Ask him and offer him unconditional support. Ask him what to do instead of telling him what to do (TRY THIS)
5. Finally offer him all prayers. And let's make Coppel as an example to all others in USA.
I wish you all the VERY BEST. I truly love and respect your passion towards crucifix. You are an example as a "Real Catholic" to everybody else in this country. Sometimes I was totally amazed to see your courage to face the faith challenges.
You always motivated other mallu catholics and this time, show your power in Jesus being with Fr Shasseri to lead a NEW FAITH oriented Coppel Parish.
One final thing.
Please DO NOT write things you DO NOT know about a priest. This blog had more than 2 Mil visitors. Lots of people around the world is watching. Any bloody thing come into your mind about a priest cannot appear here. Think twice whatever you publish here.

If koppel people are really wanting success of your parish I assure you that Fr sasseril will make it happen. If you people want to save your precious assets that is your children then don't bother Fr sasseril with non sense talk and stupid critisism.Let him help your parish grow and bring children to true faith because fr sasseril has proved it in chicago.

I strongly agree with this wisdom quote by Jonathan Swift as there are just enough religious fanatics to make us hate one another, but not enough true religious leaders to help us love one another. It inspired me to write because hate is stealing our peace and is killing our joy. Basically humans created all the religions which are existing today. These religions created their gods. People, religions and their gods together split up earth for each religion. Nearly every religion seems to preach love, peace and tolerance. But people often hate people of other religions because some religious extremists preach hatred, often developing their hateful messages. Thus, they split up the minds of people. Religious extremists ignore the welfare of the people who do not share a common belief with them. They only care about the people of their own religion, and only promote that one religion. Some even try to kill others in the name of their god. Nations continue to wage war against one another in the name of race and religion. When there is a crime against the human race, it is against all religions. Then, the minds of the victims may be filled with hate and revenge. In retaliation for the attack, they may start killing the group who committed the crime against the victims. Thus the world has become a crazy place. Thousands and thousands of people’s minds are filled with hatred and it as if their minds are weaponries. Innocent people are killed on the streets while the religions scoff at them. Hate is like a cancer. It destroys people, places of worship, and nations. If you hate, your hate may destroy someone else. But it will also destroy you, and those people that you love. Hate makes you less and less of a human being. Where are the truth, beauty, and liberty? Where are all of our relations to people? Where is our everlasting love?
While these religious fanatics make us hate one another, some religions and their leaders tell us to love one another. However, these teachings are not enough to promote peace and love among all human beings.
Don’t these religious fanatics know that instead of filling people’s minds with hatred, they should teach people to love one another as Jesus taught us to make our world a wonderful and peaceful place for everyone? At present, peace is just a dream. Therefore, I believe that it is time that these religious leaders who pretend to preach the disgusting hate should examine themselves and realize what they are actually doing to make a positive difference in our lives.

When is this “Faith Determination” originated from the Bishop House?
A Bishop who is staying in a 2.2 Million House, who cannot make any important financial decisions and looses 900K on a “wrecked building on St Charles”.
And I should believe my faith is determined by the same “Desperate House” . I agree our Bishop was a pious and religious person. I know him from when he was a priest.
But lately I suspect our Bishop's directions are not the “pious moves” and I humbly request the Syro Malabar priesthood to correct me and my readers here.
It’s time our priests to come forward and say what do they believe in – Crucified Cross or Claver Cross?
Remember, Jesus did that 2000 years before and he got crucified. And Fr Sajy did a similar act in Coppel and he got sacked to India. And other priests do not open their voice, because… Are you too scared?
Are you priests just here to make as much money you can in a hurry...
Bishop and our priests say Claver Cross is a symbol of Syro Malabar Faith. We have no denial on that part and we are willing to respect that part.
Please create emblems using this symbol in our church offices, letter pads, web sites and bulletin and other prominent locations.
Why do you want to have the symbol of Syro Malabar faith in the alter where we wanted to see our Crucified Jesus Christ.
The crucified Jesus is the symbol of love, the symbol of life, the symbol of sacrifice, the symbol of simplicity, the symbol of promise, the symbol of faith … It’s the symbol of imagination and it’s the symbol of everything and NOT JUST the SYRO MALABAR FAITH.
And to me I would rather to be known as a Roman Catholic rather than the Marthoma Catholic.
St. Thomas came to India to preach Christ to us, he was not here to create a cross, the church belongs to Jesus our Lord only....
St. Thomas is one of the twelve desciples not God Jesus... Do not serve the servant of God Jesus St. Thomas but rather serve and worship Jesus our Savior.

The good Lord is watching everything and rewards you as you keep his commandments. Be with Christ and if you ashamed of his cross, you will be ashamed in front of the Syro Malabar world.
Please keep away from the dirty mar-thoma cross and VIRI concept so that you will not get polluted. For true Christian Christ is everything and it start from his suffering on the cross and then the grace follows. If you have any hidden agenda through the backdoors of Bishop Angadiath, then do not attempt that trick anymore. I know you are good priests and you do not need any certificate from any of us. Kaldian Kallanmar are looking for a shortcut to get in to salvation through mar-thoma cross.
Is St. Thomas is more than Jess? We all need to serve the master only and do not try to elevate the creations above the creator itself.
Two of your senior priestly colleges in USA once said;
Fr. Joji said --- just like you work for your boss in office, I work for my boss, the Bishop and keep his orders. As a priest you have the fundamental responsibility towards the true propagation, preaching and teaching of bible to us. If the Bishop is biblically wrong and biased (this is the case right now), it is your duty to rectify him. Both Fr. Joji and Fr. Antony failed in that aspect and the retired Fr. Madathiprambil was using diocese as his safe place without any creative criticism on issues.
Fr. Sackaria -- He publically mentions his unbelief of transfiguration of bread and wine during a Holy Mass and also he publically mentioned about his (Bishop Angadiath and his teams) rebellious attitude towards the Kakkanad curia.
Now who is obeying whom? We have an administration without any order. We need to obey at least our cardinal and Pope and the POPE’s teaching should exceed any of the bishops.

ഒരുതുള്ളി മൂത്രം പോലും കളയാതെ സേവിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന നമ്മുടെ പ്രിയങ്കരനായ മൊറാര്‍ജി ദേശായി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍ എന്ന് ഞാന്‍ ആശിച്ചു പോകുകുയാണ്. എന്താണന്നോ? ഇത്രയും വിലപിടിപ്പുള്ള മൂത്രം വെറുതെ ടോയിലെറ്റില്‍ ഒഴിച്ച് കളയാതെ, എത്രയും പെട്ടന്ന് ബാബു ബാക്ക്യാര്‍ഡില്‍ ഒരു മൂത്രസംബരണി ഉണ്ടാക്കി അതില്‍ നിക്ഷേപിച്ചു, ഇനി നാട്ടില്‍ പോകുമ്പോള്‍ മോരാജി ദേശായിയുടെ കബരിദത്തിനു മുകളില്‍ തളിക്കുകയാനങ്കില്‍ ബാബുവിനെ ഒരായിരം പുണ്യം കിട്ടും തീര്‍ച്ചയായും. കാരണം മൊറാര്‍ജി മരിച്ചതിനു ശേഷം ഒരിറ്റു മൂത്രം പോലും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ആരും കൊടുത്തിട്ടില്ല. അതിനാല്‍ അദ്ദേഹം വേഴാമ്പല്‍ കേഴും വേനല്‍ ശവകുടീരമായി കിടക്കാന്‍ തുങ്ങിയിട്ടു നാളുകളെരയായി. അതുകൊണ്ട് ബാബുവിന്റെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട ഗോമൂത്രം ഒരുതുള്ളി പോലും കളയരുതേ, പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും അല്ത്താരയില്‍ ഒഴിച്ച് കളയരുതേ. ദാഹിച്ചു വലഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ദാഹത്താല്‍ വലയുന്ന മോരാര്‍ജിയുടെ ആത്മാവ് ആ മൂത്രം വീണു സ്പോഞ്ഞേല്‍ വെള്ളം വീണ പോലെ അല്ലങ്കില്‍ ഉണക്ക റസ്ക് ചായയില്‍ മുക്കുന്ന പോലെ ഒന്ന് നല്ല പോലെ കുതിരട്ടെ. എല്ലാ ആശംസകള്‍ മെമ്മോറാണ്ടം ബാബുവിന് നേരുന്നു!! കൂടുതല്‍ മൂത്രം ചുരത്താന്‍!!

Koppel what are you waiting for? You have got Fr Sasseri who is hard working and wise priest blessed with great wisdom and knowledge. In fact I think he is one the best priest from India in USA so far.

Please don't look back and be strong. People at Coppel are prejudice since we had some bad experience and Chicago broke our heart during the holy week by the Fr Sajy's extort act . But we truly wish that you will come and cleanse the dirt with your right acts.
