അറ്റ്‌ലാന്റാ: ചിക്കാഗോ സീറോ മലബാര്‍ രൂപതയുടെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തില്‍
അമേരിക്കയില്‍ നടക്കുന്ന ആറാമത്‌ സീറോ മലബാര്‍ ദേശീയ കണ്‍വന്‍ഷനു
അറ്റ്‌ലാന്‌ടയില്‍ ജൂലൈ 26 വ്യാഴാഴ്ച തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചു. അല്ഫോന്സ നഗര്‍ എന്ന ഓമനപ്പേരില്‍ അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ആന സൈസിലുള്ള ഹാളില്‍ അമ്പഴങ്ങാ പോലുള്ള ചെറിയ ഒരു ജനക്കൂട്ടം ആണ് ഈ സംഗമ മാമാങ്കത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാന്‍ എത്തിച്ചെര്‍ന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്.
ഒരു ലക്ഷം കുഞ്ഞാടുകള്‍ ചിക്കാഗോ രൂപതയില്‍ ഉണ്ട് എന്നാണു അഭിനവ ചാന്‍സലര്‍ ഫാ സെബാസ്റ്റ്യന്‍ വെത്താനത്തിന്റെ ഭാഷ്യം. ഈ കുഞ്ഞാടുകള്‍ ഒക്കെ ഏതു കോത്തായത്തു പോയി ഒളിച്ചിരിക്കുയാണ് എന്നാണു ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മനസ്സിലാകാത്തത്. രണ്ടായിരത്തോളം കസേരകള്‍ പ്രധാന ഹാളില്‍ നിരത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട് എങ്കിലും അതില്‍ പകുതിയിലധികം കാലിയാണ്. അമേരിക്കയിലും കാനഡയിലും നിന്നായി വെറും 450 ല് താഴെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ മാത്രമാണ് കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷനില്‍പങ്കെടുക്കാന്‍ രെജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്തിരുന്നത്. അതില്‍ ഏറിയാല്‍ 300-350 കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ എത്തിചേര്‍ന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്.
കല്‍ദായ വര്‍ഗത്തിന്റെ ഈറ്റില്ലമായ ഗാര്‍ലാന്‍ഡില്‍ നിന്നും 40 ഓളം കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ അറ്റ്ലാന്റ ക്ക് വണ്ടി കയറിയപ്പോള്‍ കൊപ്പെളില്‍ നിന്നും രണ്ടര കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ ആണ് അങ്ങോട്ട്‌ കെട്ടിയെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. ചിക്കാഗോയില്‍ നിന്നും വിരളമായെ കുഞ്ഞാടുകള്‍ പോയിട്ടുള്ളൂ. പോയവരില്‍ മിക്കവാറും ധൂമക്കുറ്റി ആട്ടുകാരും ക്ലാവര്‍ കുരിശു മുത്തുകാരും. ചിക്കാഗോയില്‍ തിന്നും ചുമന്നു കൊണ്ടുപോയ ഒന്നുരണ്ടു ക്ലാവര്‍ കുരിശുകള്‍ ഒഴിച്ച് കണ്വെന്ഷന് ഹാളില്‍ പ്രധാനമായും ക്രൂസിഫിക്സുകള്‍ ആണ്.
കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്റെ നടത്തിപ്പിനായി 101 വമ്പന്മാരുടെ ദേശീയ കൌണ്‍സില്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പിന്നെ ഇടവകകള്‍ തോറും ചിന്ന ചിന്ന കമ്മിറ്റികള്‍ വേറെ . ഈ ദേശീയ-പ്രാദേശിക നേതാക്കന്മാരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ എല്ലാം ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ തന്നെ ഇതില്‍ക്കൂടുതല്‍ ജനങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടതാണ് എന്നാണു ഞങ്ങളുടെ കണക്കു കൂട്ടല്‍.
VG ഫാ തുണ്ടത്തില്‍ അമേരിക്ക മുഴുവന്‍ കറങ്ങി കിക്കോഫ്‌ നടത്തിയതല്ലാതെ കാര്യമായ ഗോളൊന്നും അടിക്കാന്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിനു കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല എന്ന് വ്യക്തം. കുഞ്ഞാടുകള്‍ കുറവാണെങ്കിലും ഇടയന്മാര്‍ക്കു പഞ്ഞമില്ല. സീറോ മലബാര്‍ മേജര്‍ ആര്ച് ബിഷപ്‌ കര്‍ദ്ദിനാള്‍ മാര്‍ ജോര്‍ജ്‌ ആലഞ്ചേരി , ചിക്കാഗോ രൂപതാദ്ധ്യക്ഷന്‍ ബിഷപ്‌ മാര്‍ ജേക്കബ്‌ അങ്ങാടിയത്ത്‌, തൃശൂര്‍ ആര്ച് ബിഷപ്‌ എമരിറ്റസ്‌ മാര്‍ ജേക്കബ്‌ തൂങ്കുഴി, മാനന്തവാടി രൂപതാധ്യക്ഷന്‍ ബിഷപ്‌ മാര്‍ ജോസ്‌ പൊരുന്നേടം, ഇന്‍ഡോര്‍ രൂപതാദ്ധ്യക്ഷന്‍ മാര്‍ ചാക്കോ തോട്ടുമാരിയില്‍, മാര്‍ ജേക്കബ്‌ തൂങ്കുഴി, എന്നിവര്‍ ഇതില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാന്‍ എത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
9700 ഓളം കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ അംഗങ്ങള്‍ ആയുള്ള അമേരിക്കന്‍ സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സമൂഹത്തില്‍ നിന്നും ഈ ദേശീയ കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷനില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നത് വെറും 300 ഓ 400 ഓ മാത്രം കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍! ഇതാണ് ചിക്കാഗോ രൂപതയുടെ വിജയം! പക്ഷെ എത്ര കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ ഈ മാമാങ്കത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നു എന്നത് അധികൃതര്‍ക്ക് ഒരു പ്രശ്നമല്ല. സീറോ മലബാര്‍ എന്ന നെറ്റിപ്പട്ടം ആണ് അവര്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടത്. പത്രത്തില്‍ ഫോട്ടോകളും ചാനലില്‍ ന്യൂസും കിട്ടണം- അല്‍മായ നേതാക്കന്മാര്‍ക്കും ആത്മീയ ഗുരുക്കള്‍ക്കും. അതിനു വേണ്ടി സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സഭയെ അവര്‍ ചുമ്മാതെ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് മാത്രം.

കല്‍ദായ വര്‍ഗത്തിന്റെ ഈറ്റില്ലമായ ഗാര്‍ലാന്‍ഡില്‍ നിന്നും 40 ഓളം കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ അറ്റ്ലാന്റ ക്ക് വണ്ടി കയറിയപ്പോള്‍ കൊപ്പെളില്‍ നിന്നും രണ്ടര കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ ആണ് അങ്ങോട്ട്‌ കെട്ടിയെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. ചിക്കാഗോയില്‍ നിന്നും വിരളമായെ കുഞ്ഞാടുകള്‍ പോയിട്ടുള്ളൂ. പോയവരില്‍ മിക്കവാറും ധൂമക്കുറ്റി ആട്ടുകാരും ക്ലാവര്‍ കുരിശു മുത്തുകാരും. ചിക്കാഗോയില്‍ തിന്നും ചുമന്നു കൊണ്ടുപോയ ഒന്നുരണ്ടു ക്ലാവര്‍ കുരിശുകള്‍ ഒഴിച്ച് കണ്വെന്ഷന് ഹാളില്‍ പ്രധാനമായും ക്രൂസിഫിക്സുകള്‍ ആണ്.

ഒരു കാര്യം വ്യക്തമായി . സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സഭയുടെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തില്‍ അറ്റ്ലാന്റ യില്‍ നടന്നു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന കണ്വെന്ഷന് തികച്ചും സഭയെ അപകീര്‍ത്തിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു .
പതിനായിരത്തിനടുത്തു കത്തോലിക്കാ കുടുംബങ്ങളുള്ള അമേരിക്കയില്‍ കണ്വെന്ഷന് പങ്കെടുത്തത് വെറും നാനൂറില്‍ താഴെ കുടുംബങ്ങളാണ് . ഇവിടെ എന്താണ് സംഭവിച്ചത് .
സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സഭയുടെ മേലധികാരികളില്‍നിന്നും സഭയ്ക്കുണ്ടായ അപമാനം ഈ കണ്‍ വെന്‍ഷന്‍ വിളിച്ചറിയിക്കുന്നു . പാരമ്പര്യമായി നടന്നുവന്നിരുന്ന കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭാ
ആചാരങ്ങളെയും വിശ്വാസ യോഗ്യമായ മതാനുഷ്ടാനങ്ങളെയും ഇല്ലായ്മ ചെയ്തു , പുതിയ ഒരു ആരാധന രീതി തങ്ങളുടേതായി (സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സഭ) ഉണ്ടാക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചതിന്‍റെ
ഫലമാണ് ഇവിടെ കണ്ടത് . കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭ വിശുദ്ധ കുരിശിനെ പരമ്പരാഗതമായി ആരാധിച്ചും വന്ദിച്ചും പോന്നിരുന്ന ഒരു സഭയാണ് . ഒരു സുപ്രഭാതത്തില്‍ എവിടെനിന്നോ
കളഞ്ഞുകിട്ടിയ ക്ലാവര്‍ കുരിശു പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു . ഈ ക്ലാവറിനെ തോമാ കുരിശെന്ന് പേരും നല്‍കി . വിശുദ്ധ കുര്‍ബാനവരെ തകിടം മറിച്ച് അലങ്കോലപ്പെടുത്തി സ്രഷ്ടാവിനെ നിന്ദിച്ചു .
എന്തിനുപറയുന്നു ഈ വക കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ കാരണം സഭയില്‍ പലയിടത്തും വിശ്വാസികള്‍ പൊറുതിമുട്ടി . പള്ളിയും പള്ളി അല്‍ത്താരയും പേക്കോലങ്ങള്‍ നിറഞ്ഞു ആശുദ്ധമാക്കപ്പെട്ടു .
കര്‍ത്താവായ ഈശോമിശിഖ ഇരിക്കണ്ടയിടത്തു സാത്താനെ പ്രതിഷ്ടിച്ചു . ഹിന്ദു ദേവന്മാരുടെ വാഹനമായ മയിലിനെ വരെ സഭാ മേലധികാരി തലയില്‍ ചുമക്കാന്‍ തുടങ്ങി .
ശവപ്പെട്ടിയും നിലവിളക്കും , തലയോടും , പേ കോലങ്ങളും കൊണ്ട് പരിഭാവനമായ വിശുദ്ധ ബലി പീടവും പരിസരവും അശുദ്ധമാക്കി . ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള പലകാരണങ്ങളും വിശ്വാസികളില്‍
അര്‍പ്പുളവാക്കി . സഭാ മേലധികാരികളായ കുറെ സഭാ ദ്രോഗികള്‍ ( ആലഞ്ചേരി , പവ്വത്തില് , അമേരിക്കയിലെ ഗര്‍ഭം കലക്കി അങ്ങാടിയിലെ ജേക്കബും ) കാണിച്ചുകൂട്ടിയ പ്രവര്‍ത്തികളുടെ
പരിണത ഫലമാണ് അറ്റ്ലാന്റയില് കാണുന്നത് . നല്ല രീതിയില്‍ സഭ പോയിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ അറ്റ്‌ ലാന്റയിലെ അല്‍ഫോന്‍സാ നഗര്‍ ഇന്ന് വിശ്വാസികളുടെ ജനസമുദ്രമായിരുന്നേനെ .
കുറെ പണം കൂടി ധൂര്‍ത്തടിച്ച് സഭാ നേതൃത്വത്തിന് എന്‍ജോയ് ചെയ്യാന്‍ അവസരം സ്രഷ്ടിച്ചു . കുറെ തിന്നും , കട്ടും ഒരു വലിയ കട ബാധ്യത ഈ പ്രമാണികള്‍ വിശ്വാസികളെ
അടിച്ചേല്‍പ്പിക്കാതിരുന്നാല്‍ മതിയായിരുന്നു . സഭയുടെ ഉന്നമനം അല്ല സഭയുടെ നാശം ആണ് ഈ നാറികള്‍ കാണുന്നത് . കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്റെ പേരില്‍ കൊള്ള നടത്താം , അതാണ്‌ ലക്ഷ്യം .
ഒരു ബെസ്സ് നിറയേ കല്‍ദായ വര്‍ഗത്തിന്റെ ഈറ്റില്ലമായ ഗാര്‍ലാന്‍ഡില്‍ നിന്നും 40 ഓളം കുടുംബത്തില്‍പെട്ട ഒന്നും രണ്ടും മാത്രമായ അറ്റ്‌ലാന്‍റക്ക് വണ്ടി കയറിയപ്പോള്‍, ശാശേരി വണ്ടി കൊപ്പെളില്‍ നിന്നും രണ്ടര കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ ആണ് അങ്ങോട്ട്‌ കെട്ടിയെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന് കേട്ടപോള്‍ മനസിലായത് കൊപ്പെലിലെ വിരല് എണ്ണാവുന്ന കല്‍ദായ വര്‍ഗ്ഗംപോലും പോയിലെ ബിഷപ്‌ മാര്‍ ജേക്കബ്‌ അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന്റെയും സീറോ മലബാര്‍ മേജര്‍ ആര്ച് ബിഷപ്‌ കര്‍ദ്ദിനാള്‍ മാര്‍ ജോര്‍ജ്‌ ആലഞ്ചേരിയുടെയും മൈയില്‍ പീലി കൂത്ത് കാണാ൯. മഹാ കഷ്ടം മാണിക്കാ................
VG ഫാ തുണ്ടത്തില്‍ അമേരിക്ക മുഴുവന്‍ കറങ്ങി കിക്കോഫ്‌ നടത്തിയതല്ലാതെ കാര്യമായ ഗോളൊന്നും അടിക്കാന്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിനു കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല എന്ന് വ്യക്തം.
ആ പേര് പറഞ്ഞ് അമേരിക്കയിലെ എല്ലാ പളളികളിലും കേറിഇറങ്ങാ൯ VG ഫാ തുണ്ടത്തില്‍ സാധിച്ചല്ലോ. VG ഫാ തുണ്ടത്തില്‍ നേ൪ച്ചയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു അമേരിക്കയിലെ മുഴുവന്‍ പളളകളിലും കേറി ഇറങ്ങി കറങ്ങി വരണമെന്ന് അത് ഏതായാലും സാധിച്ചു VG ഫാ തുണ്ടത്തിലിന്.
The faithful across the USA and CANADA showed their disagreement and disapproval and this is really a warning to the diocese. The Chicago Syro-malabar dioceses failed to reach out the faithful. The Chicago Syro-malabar diocese’s SATANIC and pagan agenda will not survive for ever. The vibrant faithful of syro-malabar descendants of India will drove away the SATANs from the dioceses and will restore our true faith. Forced CALDAYAVALKARANAM and soft corner to MANICHAEISM will destroy our true heritage and faith. Please keep the faithful away from all satanic influences and enforcement of the diocese.

ബിഷപ്പായ മാര്‍ അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന്റെ ക്യൂറിയായില്‍ ചാന്‍സലര്‍ ആയി അടുത്തകാലത്തു നിയമിതനായ ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട സെബാസ്റ്റ്യന്‍ വെത്താനത്തിന്റെ രസികത്വം നിറഞ്ഞ ഒരു ലേഖനം ദീപികയില്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. വളര്‍ന്നു പന്തലിക്കുന്ന 'ഷിക്കാഗോ സെന്റ്‌ തോമസ്‌ സീറോ മലബാര്‍ രൂപത' എന്ന തലവാചകത്തോടെയുള്ള ലേഖനത്തില്‍ ഒരു ചെറുപ്പക്കാരനായ അച്ചന്റെ വിവരക്കേടുകള്‍ മുഴുവന്‍ പ്രതിഫലിക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
സെബാസ്റ്റ്യന്‍ അച്ചന്റെ കണക്കില്‍ മുപ്പതു പള്ളികളില്‍ ആയി ഒരു ലക്ഷം പേരെ കുടിയിരുത്തിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്. കമ്പ്യൂട്ടര്‍ പ്രൊഫഷനില്‍ നാട്ടില്നിന്നും വന്ന ചെറുപ്പക്കാരല്ലാതെ ഈ നാട്ടില്‍ ജനിച്ചു വളര്‍ന്ന ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും സീറോ മലബാര്‍ പള്ളികളെ കണ്ടു കാണുവാന്‍ ഇടയില്ല. എങ്കിലും അറ്റ്ലാന്റ കണ്വെന്ഷന് പോയത് 350 Family മാത്രമായത് വളരെ മോശമായല്ലോ മാര്‍ അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന്റെ ക്യൂറിയായില്‍ ചാന്‍സലര്‍ ആയി അടുത്തകാലത്തു നിയമിതനായ ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട സെബാസ്റ്റ്യന്‍ വെത്താനത്തിന്റെ രസികത്വം നിറഞ്ഞ ഒരു ലേഖനം.

The faithful across the USA and CANADA showed their disagreement and disapproval and this is really a warning to the diocese. The Chicago Syro-malabar dioceses failed to reach out the faithful. The Chicago Syro-malabar diocese’s SATANIC and pagan agenda will not survive for ever. The vibrant faithful of syro-malabar descendants of India will drove away the SATANs from the dioceses and will restore our true faith. Forced CALDAYAVALKARANAM and soft corner to MANICHAEISM will destroy our true heritage and faith. Please keep the faithful away from all satanic influences and enforcement of the diocese.
Hebrews 12:2 : Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The faith through which we please God and receive salvation is God's gift (I Corinthians 12:4, 9). Those in His true church have the faith of Jesus. It is not just our faith in Him, but His faith placed in us. Faithfulness, therefore, is a gift of God produced through the Holy Spirit.
News From the Atlanta Convention Floor ... And More -- Tom Varkey
After much hype and long awaited anticipation, the Sixth Syro-Malabar National Convention kicked off on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta. For a few days, the Convention Center has been given the fancy but appropriate name Alphonsa Nagar to mark the event. Assessing the Convention on its own merits, the turnout is low in comparison with previous conventions, but the convention site is most impressive by any standard. Perhaps the site was carefully chosen with the hope that it will offset some of the somber mood in the Syro-Malabar Diocese that currently exists due to the many factors that have contributed to it originating from the hesitation on the part of the Syro-Malabar hierarchy to change its attitude towards Kaldayavalkaranam. Having said that, the overall mood of the attendees seems to be upbeat. The number of programs and especially activities such as talent competitions and other activities have been reduced considerably understandably necessitated by the low number of participants this year. On a more positive note, the quality of programs has not suffered significantly in spite of the low turnout.
Turning to a more personal note, the highlight of my attending this Convention is yet to come. I have been trying to drum up support for a rally to be held tomorrow the final day of the Convention which I prefer to call a prayer vigil because that is what I like this to be. It will be a prayer event in which we want to offer up prayers to the Savior on the Cross for a change of hearts in the case of our Bishop and Major Archbishop Alencherry and their supporters. So far the highlight that I had has been a very cordial and warm impromptu meeting with His Excellency Mar Jacob Angadiath in the main auditorium. After exchanging some pleasantries, we entered into a brief discussion on the all important discussion of the Crucifix issue. To put it in a nutshell, we simply agreed to disagree after much effort on his part to convince me to give up the fight. Another highlight so far has been the distribution of a message that I have shared with many of the attendees of the Convention which by and large has been positively received. Here I would like to share the gist of this message which hopefully will help to enlighten the view of our readers of the Crucifix and its profound significance. The message reads as follows:

Dear friends, in his book, 'The Spirit of Liturgy', Pope Benedict XVI says even an act of moving the Crucifix from the center of the altar to one side of the altar is nonsense because of its importance in our worship. The SMCC says the Crucifix must be moved not only from the altar, but even from the main sanctuary area (as our Bishop has done in Garland, TX). Thus we have a house divided against itself. In Mt. 12:25 Jesus says: "A house divided against itself cannot stand." Result: We have an SMCC that is anti-Catholic which has caused a lot of confusion not only among the faithful but also among the SMCC hierarchy.
IT IS TIME TO STOP THE SMCC HIERARCHY FROM TAMPERING WITH THE CRUCIFIX WHICH IS THE IDENTITY OF OUR FAITH BEFORE IT DESTROYS THE WHOLE CATHOLIC CHURCH.
In 1 Cor. 1:18 we read: "The message of the Cross is foolishness to those perishing but it is the power of God for those being saved." The SMCC is perishing fast because of its allergy for the Cross of Jesus Christ.
IT IS TIME TO SAVE THE SMCC AND MILLIONS OF CATHOLICS IN THE SMCC BY FIGHTING ITS ALLERGY FOR THE CRUCIFIX.
What is the message of the Cross?
The Message of the Cross is nothing but the following seven utterances Jesus made from the Cross as He hung on it dying for our salvation. Each of these has deep implications for a Christian's salvation whether Catholic or not.
1. Lk. 23:34: "Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing."
Implication: No Christian is a true Christian if he keeps grudge or hatred against anyone else.
2. Mt. 27:46: "My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?"

Implication: Jesus felt His most excruciating pain not when he was nailed to the cross or scourged at the pillar, but when He bore the sins of the world. This was so because sin is the greatest tragedy that can happen to a human being however small it may be.
3. Lk. 23:46: "My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?"
Implication: No matter what heppens in his life, a Christian should submit himself to the will of his Heavenly Father and be obedient to God until his last bareath.
4. Jn. 19:26-27: Jesus said to His mother who stood at the foot of the cross pointing to John, His disciple: "Woman, here is your son."
Implication: No matter what kind of pain we go through in life, we should always be concerned for the welfare of others.
5. Lk. 23:43: "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."
Implication: Until we breathe our very last breath, we should work for the salvation of souls.
6. Jn. 19:30: "It is finished."
Implication: We are to carry out the assignment that God gives us to 100% of our ability.
7. Jn. 19:28: "I am thirsty." No matter how spiritually mature and saintly we are, we will fall sometimes. Like Peter and David, when we fall, we must get up trusting in the Lord and with greater vigor than ever.

How Crucial is the Message of the Crucifix for a Christian?
It is so important that St. Paul said that in comparison with knowing Christ by being identified with His death, everything else is rubbish (Phil. 3:10, 3:8). Pope Benedict XVI said that it is absolute nonsense even to move the cross from its central location of the altar to its side. Jesus said in Jn. 3:14: "We MUST lift up the Son of Man on the Crucifix just as Moses raised the serpent." Jesus knew that the Crucifix is necessary for us to engrave the message of the Cross deep on our souls and thus for us to be identified with Him in His sufferings and death. Now the forces of evil within the SMCC want to deny us the tool that Jesus has given us to imprint on our souls the message of the Cross which the Crucifix is. It is time for us to fight back -- to save the Crucifix, the SMCC and our very souls. In this our eternal salvation is hanging in the balance. We must also remember that our real enemy is not our beloved Bishop or Major Archbishop but the Satan who works through them just as he once worked through Peter, our first Pope. We cannot afford to lose this all important battle of our life. Therefore, let us put up a good fight to win (1 Tim. 6:12). With the help of God, we will certainly attain our final victory. "കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭ വിശുദ്ധ കുരിശിനെ പരമ്പരാഗതമായി ആരാധിച്ചും വന്ദിച്ചും പോന്നിരുന്ന ഒരു സഭയാണ്"
ഈ പ്രസ്താവന തിരുത്തേണ്ടതാണ്. കുരിശിനെ ആരാധിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല. ആ കുരിശാണ് പള്ളികളിലും വീടുകളിലും സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരുന്നത്. ആരെങ്കിലും ആരധിച്ചെങ്കില്‍ തെറ്റാണു. പക്ഷെ ഇപ്പോള്‍ കല്‍ദായ കുരിശു പ്രസ്ഥാനം ആരാധനയുടെ വക്കില്‍ എത്തിതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
