ഞായറാഴ്ച കുര്‍ബാനയ്ക്കിടയില്‍ ബോധം കേട്ട് വീണ അമ്മിച്ചിക്ക് ക്ഷേമാന്ന്വേഷണങ്ങള്‍!
പള്ളിയില് നിന്നും പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയപ്പോള്‍ ഇത്തമ്മ ചോദിച്ചു:
"ആ പഴയ പള്ളിയില് എന്ത് കുഴപ്പമുണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്? ചാള അടക്കിയ പോലെ ജനം തടിച്ചു കൂടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. വര്‍ഷങ്ങളായി, വല്ലവരും ഇന്നുവരെ തല ചുറ്റി വീണിട്ടുണ്ടോ? വല്ലവര്‍ക്കും ഹാര്‍ട്ട് അറ്റാക്ക്‌ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ഏതെങ്കിലും കാര്‍മ്മി കുഴഞ്ഞു വീണിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ഇല്ല. അപ്പൊ ഈ പള്ളീല് എന്തോ കൊഴപ്പോണ്ട്. എന്തോ ശാപം പിടിച്ച സ്ഥലമാ. ഈ പള്ളിയില് ദൈവം തമ്പുരാന്‍ ഉണ്ടെന്നു തോന്നുന്നില്ല."
"correct", രണ്ടും കല്‍പ്പിച്ചു ഞാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. "കാരണം പഴയ പള്ളി ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഭവനമായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷെ ഇത് അങ്ങാടിയത്തിന്റെ ഭവനമാണ്. അപ്പോള്‍ ഇതും ഇതിലപ്പുറവും സംഭവിച്ചില്ലെങ്കിലെ അത്ഭുതമുള്ളൂ."
കത്തനാര് ഒന്നും കാണാത്ത പോലെ കുര്‍ബാന തുടര്‍ന്നു. കൊയര്‍ വായും പൊളിച്ചു നിന്നു. ജനങ്ങള്‍ പരസ്പരം നോക്കി പകച്ചു നിന്നു.
ഇക്കണക്കിന് പോയാല്‍ പള്ളിയില് പോകുന്നത് സൂക്ഷിച്ചു വേണം. ആര്‍ക്ക് എപ്പോള്‍ തട്ട് കിട്ടുമെന്ന് പറയാന്‍ വയ്യ.
എന്നാല്‍ ഒരു കാര്യം ഞങ്ങള്‍ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു. തട്ട് നിരപരാധികളായ പാവങ്ങള്‍ക്കിട്ടെ ഉള്ളൂ. പല കള്ളന്മാരും, ദുഷ്ടന്മാരും കപടന്മാരും അവിടെ അങ്ങനെ വിലസി നടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. സൂട്ടും കോട്ടുമൊക്കെയിട്ടു. അവര്‍ക്കാകട്ടെ ഒരു കുഴപ്പവുമില്ല.
എന്തോരന്ന്യായം! എന്തൊരു വിരോധാഭാസം! എനിക്ക് വയ്യ!

Yes the vicar is out wandering while the ammachi faints. I think probably he is begging for money by showing the poor man's malayalam mass to americkans. A lot of priests from kerala do that. He is doing the same thing.
If an emergency situation arises during a Mass, then the Mass must be stoped until that person in danger is well taken care of. Ignorance of peoples life and well being should not be practiced by the church authorities.
The moral values of this community is at its lowest level under the current vicar's teachings. His main goal is fame, money and position for himself. He want total control of the church and church commities. It is time for him to leave Chicago.
He will try to stay here as vicar untill bshop give him a much better position than the current one. He did not like the position that was offered to him a few months ago, insisted to stay here as vicar, and asked bishop to look for a better position. He wanted to come to bishops house and then fight for a possible future bishop position.
If he is a true missionary priest why he is fighting to get great positions only? He must remember that he is a member of the Missionary Society. He needs to be a true believer and a christian missionary.
It seems just like we have a cop in parking lot we need paramedics on standby inside chuch on sundays. Also too many nurses all over the poor ammachi. And what about the chotta leaders in their suits showing off?
