Our vicar belongs to the Missionary Society of St Thomas (MST). Here are two excerpts from an article about MST you may find funny, knowing our vicar for the past nine years.

MST is a Society of Apostolic Life with an exclusively missionary charism, whose sole goal is to spread the Kingdom of God through witness and apostolic involvement. Drawing spiritual enthusiasm from St Thomas, the Apostle of India and her patron, MST is committed to take up missionary responsibilities anywhere in the world through collective apostolate.

Missionary Society of St Thomas the Apostle (MST) is a missionary institute of the Syro Malabar Church. The Purpose of the Society is mission ad gentes, in India and outside. Remaining faithful to the liturgical, theological, spiritual and disciplinary heritage of the Syro-Malabar Church, the Society takes up missionary apostolates in territories and among peoples and groups in which the Church has not yet taken root. True to its purpose the Society also helps to establish "Churches which would be adequately organized and would possess their own proper strength and maturity" (AG 6).

Exile all all the kerala priests and the Bishop from here, and we will have great peace. they have only damaged this community. we do not need them. they need us to survive. they are making the community fight each other members for their survival.
Interesting. But i cannot imagine Fr antony practising priesthood in North India.
Antony can't practice in north India. He practices only where he can get a lot of money. He likes chicago because his pocket is always full of dollars. That is what he want, money, money, money.
there has to be some reason behind why he has not gone back to his community...
money was the main reason he has not gone back to his community. But now there is one more reason -a better position in the diaces. Until he gets it he will hang on to the vicar position.
