അതും "എന്തെങ്കിലും അത്യാഹിതമുണ്ടായാല്‍ അതിനായി ഡോക്ടര്‍ മാരും നേഴ്സ് മാരും തയ്യാറായി നില്‍പ്പുണ്ട്. വേറെ ആരും വന്നു ചുറ്റും കൂടി വായും പൊളിച്ചു നില്‍ക്കേണ്ട ആവശ്യമില്ല" എന്ന അച്ഛന്റെ announcement കഴിഞ്ഞ പാടെ. അച്ഛന് കരിനാക്കാണെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. ഏതായാലും ഫയര്‍ എഞ്ചിന്റെയും ആംബുലന്‍സ് ന്റെയും ബഹളം. പോലീസിന്റെയും പാര medics ന്റെയും പിരളി. കുര്‍ബാന സ്വീകരണത്തിന്റെ സമയത്തും പോലീസും ഫയര്‍ എഞ്ചിനും ലൈറ്റും മിന്നിച്ചു പാര്‍ക്കിംഗ് ലോട്ടില്‍ കിടക്കുന്ന കണ്ട്. കാരണം മനസ്സിലായില്ല. ഉള്ളത് പറയാമല്ലോ, ഇതിനുള്ള സാധ്യത ഞാന്‍ ക്രിസ്മസ് വാരഫലത്തില്‍ പ്രവചിച്ചതാണ്.
വിരോധമില്ല. വേണമെങ്കില്‍ നിങ്ങളെന്നെ ഐശായ പ്രവാചകന്‍ എന്ന് വിളിച്ചോളൂ.
ഏതായാലും ഇങ്ങനെ പള്ളിയില്‍ കൂടെക്കൂടെ മനുഷ്യര്‍ കുഴഞ്ഞു വീഴുന്നതിന്റെ രഹസ്യമൊന്നറിയണം എന്ന് നിനച്ചു. അമേരിക്കയിലെ ഏതു നല്ല കത്തോലിക്കനെയും പോലെ നേരെ വിളിച്ചു പെരിങ്ങോട്ടുകര ദേവസ്ഥാനത്തെക്ക്. അച്ഛന് ദാമോദരന്‍ തന്നെ കബഡി നിരത്തി.
കുഴഞ്ഞു വീഴുന്നവരില്‍ ബഹുഭൂരി പക്ഷവും അള്‍ത്താരയോട് അടുത്ത് നില്‍ക്കുന്നവരായതിനാല്‍ അപലക്ഷണം അവിടെ തന്നെയാണെന്നാണ് കണിയാര് പറയുന്നത്. ആദ്യം വീണത്‌ പുരോഹിതന്‍ . അടുത്തത്‌ ഒരു നിരപരാധി അമ്മിച്ചി. പിന്നെ നമ്മുടെ ഒരു ശുശ്രൂവിന്റെ സഹധര്‍മ്മിണി. അത് സംഭവിച്ചതോ ഗായകവേദിയില്‍. (ഇതിനു കാരണം രണ്ടാകാമാത്രേ . ഒന്ന്: ഭക്തി പാരവശ്യത്താല്‍ വിവശയായി സ്വയം കുഴഞ്ഞു വീണത്‌. രണ്ട്: അവരുടെ പാട്ട് കേട്ടു സഹി കേട്ടു കര്‍ത്താവ് ഷട്ട് അപ്പ്‌ ചെയ്യിച്ചത്.) പിന്നെ ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഇതാ ഒരു പയ്യന്‍സ് ശുശ്രു മറിഞ്ഞു വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.

ഇനി പാര്‍ക്കിങ്ങിനെപ്പറ്റി രണ്ടു വാക്ക്. ഇത്ര വലിയ കടുംകൈ, ചതി, നമ്മുടെ ഈ ജനത്തോടു കാട്ടിയിട്ട് നമ്മുടെ അധികാരികള്‍ക്ക് എങ്ങനെ ജനങ്ങളെ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുന്നു എന്ന് മനസ്സിലാകുന്നില്ല. യാതൊരു കൂസലുമില്ലാതെ ഞെളിഞ്ഞ് നിന്നു പ്രസംഗിക്കാന്‍ ശരിക്കും ചകൂറ്റം വേണം. സമ്മദിച്ചു കൊടുക്കാതെ നിവൃത്തിയില്ല. പള്ളി പണിക്കു ചുക്കാന്‍ പിടിച്ച പ്രമാണിമാരോ? സൂട്ടും കോട്ടുമിട്ട് തെക്കുവടക്ക് നടക്കുന്ന കണ്ടാല്‍ തോന്നും സ്വന്തം പൈസ മുടക്കി പണിത പള്ളിയാണെന്ന്.
പുതിയ പള്ളി പണിയാന്‍ അധികാരികള്‍ പറഞ്ഞ ഒരു കാരണം നമ്മുടെ പഴയ പള്ളിയില്‍ ആവശ്യത്തിനു ഇടമില്ല. വിശേഷ ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ വരാന്തയിലും അല്‍ഫോന്‍സ ഹാളിലും ഒക്കെ ഇരുന്നു കുര്‍ബാന കാണേടിവരുന്നു. അടുത്ത 20 വര്‍ഷത്തേക്കെങ്കിലും ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു സാഹചര്യം ഉണ്ടാകാതിരിക്കത്തക്ക ഒരു പള്ളി നമുക്ക് വേണം.
കിട്ടി. പുതിയ പള്ളി കിട്ടി. എന്നിട്ടോ. narthex ല്‍ കസേരയിട്ട് ഒരു പറ്റം. ചാപ്പലില്‍ പുറം തിരിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു TV കണ്ട് കുര്‍ബാന കാണുന്നവര്‍ ഒരു പിടി അങ്ങനെ. ചുരുക്കിപ്പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ പകുതി ജനത്തിനു പോലും പള്ളിയില്‍ ഇരിക്കാന്‍ ഇടം കിട്ടിയില്ല എന്ന് വേണം പറയുവാന്‍ .11 മില്യണ്‍ ന്റെ പുത്തന്‍ പള്ളി പണിതിട്ട് പെയിന്റ് ഇതുവരെ ഉണങ്ങിയിട്ടില്ല എന്നോര്‍ക്കണം!
കര്‍മ്മങ്ങളുടെ ആരംഭത്തില്‍ അരങ്ങേറിയ ലൈറ്റ് ഷോ നിങ്ങള്‍ എല്ലാം കണ്ടുകാണുമല്ലോ. വിവരം കെട്ടാലും ഇത്ര മനുഷ്യന്‍ അധപ്പതിക്കുന്നതെങ്ങനെയെന്നു മനസ്സിലാകുന്നില്ല. ഒരു ദേവാലയമാനെന്നോര്‍ക്കണം. അവിടെയാണ് ഈ തരം താഴ്ന്ന ലൈറ്റ് ഷോ. ഇത്ര തറ സമാനം കലാബോധാമുള്ളവരല്ലെങ്കില്‍ വിശുദ്ധമായ ആ അള്‍ത്താരയില്‍ ഇതുപോലുള്ള വില കുറഞ്ഞ പ്രകനങ്ങള്‍ കാഴ്ചാ വയ്ക്കുമായിരുന്നോ.
പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചതിനു വിപരീതമായി കൊയര്‍ ഭംഗിയായിരുന്നു. ലീഡര്‍ ചാടാപടാ നാലുപാടും ഓടി നടക്കുന്ന കണ്ടു. കൊയര്‍ ലീഡര്‍ ഇങ്ങനെ വെരുകിനെപ്പോലെ പരക്കം പാഞ്ഞു ഓടി നടക്കുന്ന കാഴ്ച നമ്മുടെ ഈ പള്ളിയിലല്ലാതെ ഞാന്‍ എങ്ങും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല. മത്തായി ആള് ഇത്തിരി ഷൈന്‍ ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ട്. അണിഞ്ഞൊരുങ്ങി, ആടി ഇളകിയല്ലായിരുന്നോ ആശാന്‍ വച്ചു കീറുന്നത്. പക്ഷെ ഭക്തജനങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗ്യത്തിന് പുറത്തേക്കൊന്നും കേള്‍ക്കാനുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. ഇതുപോലെ ഭംഗിയായ കൊയര്‍ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് നമുക്ക് എല്ലാ ഞായറാഴ്ചയും ആയിക്കൂടാ? അതിനുള്ള അവസരം വികാരി ഉണ്ടാക്കാതിരിക്കുന്നത് നമ്മുടെ സമൂഹത്തോട് അദ്ദേഹം കാട്ടുന്ന വഞ്ചനയാണ്. ഇദ്ദേഹം ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് എന്ന് മുക്രയിട്ടു നടക്കുന്നത്തിന്റെ ഒരംശം മലയാളത്തിനു വേണ്ടി മുക്രയിട്ടിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ ഈ സമൂഹത്തിനു എന്തെങ്കിലും ഗുണം കിട്ടിയേനെ. എത്ര ഭംഗിയായി ആണ് നമ്മുടെ ആ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങള്‍ ശുദ്ധ മലയാളത്തില്‍ പാടിയത്! ഇവിടെ ജനിച്ചു വളര്‍ന്നവര്‍!
ഈയിടെ ആയി അച്ഛന് എപ്പോഴും പറയും: "ഇതെന്റെ പള്ളിയല്ല. നിങ്ങടെ പള്ളിയാ. എന്റെ പള്ളിയല്ല. " അങ്ങനെയങ്ങ് കൈ കഴുകാന്‍ വരട്ടെ അച്ഛാ. ഇതച്ചന്റെ പള്ളിയാ. മെത്രാന്റെയും. ഇവിടെ കിടന്നു കുറച്ച നാറി നരകിച്ചിട്ടു അച്ഛന് എങ്ങോട്ടും പോയാല്‍ മതി. ഇവിടുത്തെ ജനങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ അച്ഛനും ഇത്തിരിയൊക്കെ കഷായിക്കണം.
ഒരു പ്രത്യേക കാര്യം തികട്ടി തികട്ടി വരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് എഴുതുകയാണ്. കുഴഞ്ഞു വീണ ആ കുഞ്ഞു ശുശ്രൂഷി. നമ്മുടെ ക്രിസ്ത്യന്‍ ഭാഷയില്‍ പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ ഒരു കുഞ്ഞാട്. അതും വലിയ ഇടയനു സേവനം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നപ്പോള്‍ രോഗബാധിതനാകുന്നു. എന്നിട്ട് വലിയ ഇടയനോ? ഒന്നും സംഭവിക്കാത്ത പോലെ മരക്കുറ്റി പോലെ അങ്ങനെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു. ഒന്ന് തിരിഞ്ഞു നോക്കുന്നുപോലുമില്ല. യാതൊരു വിധ concern ഉം അങ്ങോര്‍ കാണിച്ചില്ല എന്ന സത്യം എടുത്തു പറയേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. വലിയൊരു ശല്ല്യമായിപ്പോയ കണക്കെ. കരിങ്കല്ലിനു അതിലും കരുണ കാണിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയും. എന്തൊരു സൃഷ്ടി!
എന്നാല്‍ വികാരി ഫാ. ആന്റണി നേരെ മറിച്ചായിരുന്നു എന്ന് സമ്മദിക്കതിരിക്കാന്‍ വയ്യ. മുഖഭാവം കണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹവും കുഴഞ്ഞു വീണേക്കാം എന്നുവരെ സംശയിച്ചുപോയി. പേടിച്ചരണ്ടു പാടാന്‍ പോലും ശ്വാസം കിട്ടാതെ പോയി. പാവം. മെത്രാനെപ്പോലെ കഠിനഹൃദയമുള്ള ഒരു വ്യക്തിയല്ല നമ്മുടെ വികാരിയെന്നു സര്‍വ മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്കും ഈ ഒരൊറ്റ സംഭവം കൊണ്ട്‌ മനസ്സിലായി. നല്ല ഒരു ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ ഒരു ചെറിയ കഷ്ണം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഉള്ളിലെവിടെയോ ഒളിച്ചിരിപ്പുണ്ട്. ബിഷപ്പിനുവേണ്ടിയും മറ്റു തല്‍പ്പര കക്ഷികള്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടിയും മനസാക്ഷിക്ക് വിരുദ്ധമായ സംഗതികള്‍ ചെയ്തു അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ആകെ കലുഷിതമായിരിക്കുന്നു. കുറ്റ ബോധമാണ്. ആകെ ഒരു വെപ്രാളമാണ്. ആകെ nervous ! അറിയിപ്പുകള്‍ നടത്തുമ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ബോഡി ലാംഗ്വേജ് നിങ്ങള്‍ നിരീക്ഷിച്ചാല്‍ ഇക്കാര്യം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മനസ്സിലാകും.
അതുകൊണ്ട്, ബാ. അച്ഛാ, സ്വന്തം മനസാക്ഷി അനുസരിച്ച് നീതി മാത്രം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ഭയപ്പെടാന്‍ ഒന്നുമില്ല. ഒരു കാര്യം ഒരിക്കലും മറക്കരുത്. അച്ഛനെക്കുറിച്ച് ദൈവത്തിനു വലിയ വലിയ പദ്ധതികള്‍ ഒക്കെയുണ്ട്. അച്ഛന്റെ മനസാക്ഷി വിരുദ്ധ പ്രവര്‍ത്തികള്‍ കൊണ്ട്‌ ആ പദ്ധതികള്‍ ഒക്കെ അച്ഛന് തകര്‍ക്കും. പിന്നെ അവസാനം കടിച്ചതുമില്ല, പിടിച്ചതുമില്ല എന്ന ഗതി വരും.

The new cathedral church is a shame setup to all Catholics.
Unless rework of the cathedral Alter with dignity for its original glory is achieved, sudden heart attacks, fainting in the church will be continuous occurrence whenever the Bishop company in the church as a celebrant. He is a shame to our catholic community and a black mark to all priests as well.
The circus tent, the string attached Veil and the pagan claver cross are real curse to our community and the Bishop Angadi is responsible for all these misfortunes.

Syro malabar community is not flourishing with bishop Angadiath's leadership. "Flourish" means "grow". Is the bishop bringing thousands of Syro Malabarians to America, or converting thousands to our Church? As another reader commented earlier, the only community that is flourishing under Angadiath's leadership is the community of Kerala priests. The are the only ones flourishing here. If the Syro Malabar community is flourishing, it is because of the liberal immigration policies of the US and Canadian governments. The day these countries stop immigration, that day the flourishing of the Syro Malabar community will end.
Bishop Angadiath is importing his favourite priests from India, including your brother-in-law. So you want to justify the bishop, we can understand that. All kinds of beggarly priests are attracted to this community as vultures are to a dead body. They are shameless parasites. The Bishop Angadi was very serious in his homily about the ongoing evil influence in today’s world. He talked about terrorism, abortion, unnatural marriage/relationships, drug influence, misuse of internet and internet photography. Let me admit that he covered all these evil influences very appropriately. However during his speech he forgets about himself as the chairperson of worst evil doer in the history of Syro Malabar Church.
We have witnessed that good can be evil and disastrous and many of the emissary of Chicago Syro Malabar Church are evil preachers and satanic in their behavior with biased attitude. The denial of existence of absolute Evil Veil and claver cross in the cathedral church is indeed a self denial of truth. Evil is Satan's system of administration and it exist in our Chicago Syro Malabar Diocese. Anything that is outside of the plan of God as depicted in the Bible is part of Satan's strategy of evil. Therefore, any person who is consistently involved in the satanic system is directly involved with evil.

The temple of God is the human itself. When we all said to be the believers of Jesus, how many of us can say that I am a 100% christian now.
All SMC people were the temple of God. They all work hard, willing help each other, (not just the neighbours but the old neighbours in Kerala too). They either did not have time to do any wrong doing or did not had an operchunity to do it. However, after the SMC is active, the thoughts and actions of the SMC has changed.

Unlike in Kerala the churches has no Rubber estate. So, they need continued support from the people to pay very high salary for the priests and staff. When they make use of the people, atleast have the decency to listen to the concerns of the people.

If the bishop is capable of building many churches and expands the SMC community, then the right place for his service is in India where there are more than a 1 BILLION people are starving for the Gospel messages. The current SMC in USA is not for Christ, they are really anti Christ under the umbrella of global Catholic Church.

This is an incident happend in one of the SMC Church.
One boy marrired a girl and came here about 4 months back. Girls family is already an active member of the parish.
They got a baby and the new family wanted to baptize the baby. As the boy is a new immigrant and still looking for work and mother is on leave from her standard office job, they are in a tight situation financially.
In order to baptize their baby, they need to take a family member ship with the church which require a $3000.00 initial membership fee. (This used to be know as buliding fund).
In my poinion, church should not insist on this kind of member ship fee to have a new born baptized...
I know a similar case. This is for a marriage. It is a recently arrived adult family. Not financially well established yet. Their son getting married and they wanted to get the kuri. The church people insisted they take membership in the church with fee of $5000 for the church construction fund. They made him pay monthly installemnet.
What kind of church is milking its own sheep like this, all its blood? Dont these church people understand not everybody is rich to pay $5000? Why is church authorities putting the gun to peoples head? This is robbery, that's all. This is unheard in the whole world. What a shame and what a shameful people. I say everybody protest.
