മാര്‍ അങ്ങാടിയത്തും സഹോദര മെത്രാന്മാരും കൂടി ഇത്തവണ കൂടിയ സിനഡ് വെറും നേരം പോക്കല്ലായിരുന്നു.
സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സഭയ്ക്ക് അഞ്ചു പുതിയ മെത്രാന്മാരെക്കൂടി കിട്ടി.
ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന രൂപതകള്‍ പിളര്‍ത്തും, തിരിച്ചും, മാറ്റിയും, മറിച്ചും അഞ്ചു മെത്രാന്മാര്‍ക്കും ആസ്ഥാനം കൊടുത്തു. സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സഭാംഗങ്ങളുടെ സംഘ്യ അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി കൂടിയിട്ടാണോ, അതോ, കേരളത്തിന്റെ തന്നെ ഭു വിസ്തൃതി വല്ല സുനാമി കൊണ്ടോ മറ്റോ ഇരട്ടിച്ചിട്ടാണോ ഇങ്ങനെ അഞ്ചു മെത്രാന്മാരുടെ ആവശ്യം അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി വന്നതെന്ന് മനസ്സിലാകുന്നില്ല. ഏതായാലും ഇടയന്മാരെ മുട്ടിയിട്ടു കുഞ്ഞാടുകള്‍ക്ക് നിന്നു തിരിയാന്‍ ഇടമില്ല എന്ന സ്ഥിതി വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
ഈ മെത്രാന്മാരുടെ അതിപ്രസരം അവര്‍ മേയ്ക്കുന്ന കുഞ്ഞാടുകള്‍ക്ക് എന്തെങ്കിലും ആത്മീയ ക്ഷേമം ചെയ്യുമെന്ന് ആരെങ്കിലും ധരിക്കുന്നുണ്ടോ? ഇല്ലെന്നു മാത്രമല്ല, ചരിത്രപരമായി നോക്കിയാല്‍ അത് ദോഷം ചെയ്യുകയേ ഉള്ളൂ. കാരണം സഭാധികാരികളുടെ ഉദ്ദേശം വിശ്വാസികളുടെ ആത്മീയ ഉന്നമനമല്ല. സ്ഥാനമാനങ്ങളാണ്. കുഞ്ഞാടുകളുടെ കയ്യും കാലും ഏതുവിധേനയും കൂച്ചിക്കെട്ടുക. അവരെ ഭരിച്ച് സുഖിക്കുക. യേശുവിന്റെ നാമത്തില്‍.
ഉദാഹരണമായി പറഞ്ഞാല്‍, നമ്മുടെ ചിക്കാഗോ രൂപത തന്നെ എടുക്കാം. ഈ രൂപതയും ബിഷപ്പുമൊക്കെ വന്നതിനു ശേഷം സാമൂഹികമായും ആത്മീയമായും എന്ത് നന്മ നമുക്കുണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്? അസമാധാനവും, അസംത്രിപ്തിയും, സാമ്പത്തിക നഷ്ടങ്ങളും അടിപിടിയുമാല്ലാതെ എന്ത് ഗുണമുണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്? പത്തിരുപത്തഞ്ചു വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കു മുമ്പ് എത്ര സ്നേഹത്തോടും ഒരുമയോടും കൂടി ജീവിച്ചിരുന്ന ഒരു സമൂഹമായിരുന്നു നമ്മുടേത്‌! പള്ളിയും പട്ടക്കാരും, മുട്ടിനു മുട്ടിനു കരിസ്മാറ്റിക്കുകാരും വന്നുകഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ മനുഷ്യര്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ വഷളായി പോകുകയേയുള്ളൂ. കേരളം തന്നെ എടുക്കുക. എവിടെ ചെന്നാലും ധ്യാന കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളെയുള്ളൂ. പട്ടം കിട്ടിയ ഏതു പിരട്ട പുരോഹിതനും ഹിപ്പിയെപ്പോലെ താടിയും വളര്‍ത്തി ധ്യാന ഗുരു എന്ന് സ്വയം നടിച്ചു ഒരു ബൈബിളും കക്ഷത്തില്‍ വച്ചു അങ്ങിറങ്ങും. മനുഷ്യരെ നന്നാക്കാന്‍ . എന്നാലും കേരളത്തിലെ മനുഷ്യര്‍ കീഴ്പ്പോട്ടാണ്. കേഡികളുടെ ഇടയ്ക്ക് ക്വോട്ടേഷന്‍ സംഘം, കോളേജ് കുമാരികളുടെ ഇടയ്ക്ക് വ്യഭിചാരം (പോലീസ് പിടിച്ചാല്‍ അത് സ്ത്രീ പീഠനം ആയി മാറും), ബ്ലേഡ് കാരുടെ കൊള്ള പലിശ, പരക്കെയുള്ള മദ്യപാനം, തൊട്ടതിനും പിടിച്ചതിനും കൊള്ളയും കൊലയും, കൂടാതെ തുമ്മിപ്പോയാല്‍ കൂട്ട ആത്മഹത്യ!
ചുരുക്കിപ്പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ കരിസ്മാറ്റിക്ക് കാരും, ആത്മീയ നേതാക്കളും രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരും കൂടി കേരളം കുട്ടിച്ചോറാക്കി.
ഇനിയിപ്പോള്‍ അടുത്ത സിനഡ്. അതോര്‍ക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ തന്നെ ഉറക്കം കെടുന്നു. അടുത്ത മെത്രാന്‍ നിയമനങ്ങള്‍ കേരളത്തിലല്ല, പുറത്താണ്. ഉദാ. കാനഡയില്‍ ഒരു കോള് കാണുന്നുണ്ട്. അതുപോലെ തന്നെ അമേരിക്കയില്‍ ക്നാനായക്കാര്‍ക്കും ഒരു ബിഷപ്പ്. ന്യൂ യോര്‍ക്കിലും എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ഒരു ബിഷപ്പിനെ നിയമിച്ചു കൂടാ? അങ്ങനെ വരുമ്പോള്‍ അത് അങ്ങാടിയത്തിനു സുഖിക്കില്ല. തന്റെ സാമ്രാജ്യമല്ലേ ചെറുതാകുന്നത്! അതിനും ഉണ്ട് പ്രതിവിധി. അങ്ങോരെ പോലീത്ത, മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്ത ആക്കി സ്ഥാനാരോഹണം നടത്തി സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കുക.
അമേരിക്കയിലെ കുഞ്ഞാടുകളുടെ ഒരു വിധി! ഇടയന്മാരാല്‍ സൂപ്പും ബിരിയാണിയുമാക്കി മാറ്റപ്പെടുവാന്‍ വിധിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു പറ്റം ഹതഭാഗ്യരാണ് നമ്മള്‍.

Have anyone thought of what is going to happen when the influx of immigrants stops ? Does anyone think our kids would like this political agendas of our shepherds?
This means bishop Angadi is disappointed. He was expecting to be named as Arch Bishop and two other bishops under him for north America. Now he need to wait another year with a hope of becoming Arch Bishop...

As strong faith and belief should give anyone peace and happiness. We inherited our believes and faith from our leaders. What is happening now?. Is in't it, the religion the biggest enemy of the world?. We will have more Bishops in US and Canada pretty soon to destroy our peace of mind. It is ony a matter of time.

I inherited those from my parents. I dont see any leaders (Bishop), whom I could follow and ask my kids to learn from.
I am a beliver in Jesus , but doest mean that I will have to accept all stupidity of the said leaders..

To the Synod of Bishops of the Syro-Malabar Major Archiepiscopal Church, in India.
We are one body in Christ. We need a man with essence in USA.
Please recall the Bishop Angadiath with his circus tent, and his very own private purple cloth from the church. He pastors his own theology that is (1) not aligned with Catholic Church and (2) not in communion with the global Catholic Church teachings and practices and (3) he failed to keep the faithful together. Please remove him from his assigned authority as the shepherded of the immigrant Syro Malabar catholic community in USA. He helped only to split the community, people losing their faith in him and the community drained in their faith after his inception as the bishop.
He and his biased priests in USA are the shame to our India culture and our centuries old faith tradition is in risk under his leadership. He is a frog in a dirty well. Because of their unholy actions, he cannot earn respect from the Syro Malabar community in USA anymore.
Who wants to know when the Bishop is back. Who Cares?.. We are better of with out him..
