എല്ലാ ആഴ്ചയിലും ഒന്നല്ലെങ്കില്‍ മറ്റൊന്ന്. മടിയന്റെ മനസ്സ് പിശാചിന്റെ പണിപ്പുര എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് വലിയ തോഴിലോന്നുമില്ലാത്തവരുടെയും മനസ്സ് അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയെന്നു നമ്മുടെ സഭാനേതൃത്വത്തിന്റെ ഓരോ പണി കണ്ടാല്‍ തോന്നും.
കോപ്പെലില്‍ പുറമേ എല്ലാം ശാന്തം. പക്ഷെ അകത്തു നടക്കുന്ന കരുനീക്കങ്ങള്‍ ആരും കാണുന്നില്ല. കൊപ്പേല്‍ വിശ്വാസികളെ കൂപ്പുകുത്തിക്കുവാന്‍ തന്ത്രങ്ങള്‍ മെനയലാണ് മെത്രാന്റെയും ഉപദേശകരുടെയും ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ പ്രധാന തൊഴില്‍.

ഏതായാലും കള്ളി വെളിച്ചത്തായി. ബിഷപ്പും തോമയും നാറി. കോപ്പെലിലും നാറി, അമേരിക്കയിലും നാറി. കേരളത്തിലും ലോകത്തിലും നാറി.
എന്നിട്ടും ബിഷപ്പ് പഠിച്ചില്ല. ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഇതാ അദ്ദേഹം പുതിയൊരു തന്ത്രവുമായി വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. തോമാ രഹസ്യമായി തുടങ്ങിയ അക്കൌണ്ടില്‍ ആണത്രേ ഇനിയുള്ള പള്ളി നിക്ഷേപങ്ങള്‍ എല്ലാം. ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ കൈക്കാരന്മാര്‍ക്കോ പാരിഷ് കൌണ്‍സിലിനോ മറ്റു ജനപ്രതിനിധികള്‍ക്കോ ഈ അക്കൌണ്ടില്‍ ഒരു കാര്യവുമില്ല. ചുരുക്കം പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ പൈസ കൊടുത്താല്‍ മതി, കൂടുതല്‍ കാര്യം ആരും അന്ന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ട. ഫാ വിനോദു പറഞ്ഞത് അക്കൌന്റ് കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യാന്‍ വികാരിക്ക് മാത്രമേ അധികാരമുള്ളൂ എന്നാണ്. എന്നാല്‍ തോമ തുടങ്ങിയ അക്കൌണ്ടില്‍ തോമക്ക് കയ്യിട്ടു വാരാന്‍ പറ്റില്ലെങ്കില്‍ പിന്നെ ആര്‍ക്കാണ് സാധിക്കുക?
പൊതു ജനങ്ങളുടെ പൈസ. അവരുടെ അദ്ദ്വാനത്തിന്റെ ഫലം അവര്‍ സ്വന്തം പള്ളിക്ക് സംഭാവനായി കൊടുക്കുന്നു. ആ പൈസ ആര്, എങ്ങനെ ചിലവാക്കുന്നു എന്നറിയാനുള്ള അവകാശം അവര്‍ക്കില്ലെന്ന്. ലോകത്തില്‍ എവിടെയെങ്കിലും നടപ്പുള്ള സംഗതിയാണോ ഇത്? ബിഷപ്പും കൂട്ടരും കൊപ്പെലുകാരെ ലോകരുടെമുമ്പില്‍ കൊച്ചാക്കി അപമാനിക്കുകയാണ്. ബിഷപ്പിന് വിശ്വാസികളെ വിശ്വാസമില്ല എന്നല്ലേ ഇത് തെളിയിക്കുന്നത്.
പള്ളിയുടെ സമ്പാദ്യം പൊതുമുതലാണ്. അത് മെത്രാന്റെ പാദസേവകര്‍ക്ക് കളിക്കാനുള്ളതല്ല. സംഭാവന ചെയ്ത പൊതുജനങ്ങളുടെ അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ അവരുടെ പ്രതിനിധികളുടെ മേല്‍നോട്ടത്തിലായിരിക്കണം അത്. മാത്രമല്ല, നമ്മുടെ വികാരിയെ വേണ്ടാത്ത ഒരു സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ കൊണ്ടിടുകയാണ് മെത്രാന്‍ ഇതുവഴി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. കൈക്കാരന്മാരുടെയും മറ്റു ജന പ്രതിനിധികളുടെയും മേല്‍നോട്ടമുണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടും മുന്‍ വികാരിയുടെമേല്‍ സാമ്പത്തിക കുറ്റാരോപണം നടത്തിയ മെത്രാന്‍ പാവം വര്‍ഗീസച്ചന്റെ മേല്‍ ഭാവിയില്‍ എന്ത് കുറ്റാരോപണങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തില്ല എന്നാരു കണ്ടൂ. പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും മെത്രാന്റെ തെറ്റിയ താളത്തിനൊത്ത് തുള്ളാന്‍ അദ്ദേഹം ആവശ്യം വേണ്ട ആവേശം കാണിച്ചില്ലെങ്കില്‍?

സത്യം പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ നമ്മുടെ ബിഷപ്പിനും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ളവര്‍ക്കും പണക്കൊതി എന്ന അസുഖം ബാധിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഡോളര്‍ ആണ് ബിഷപ്പിന്റെ ദൈവം. അത് അരമനരഹസ്യമാണെന്ന് ബിഷപ്പ് കരുതുന്നു, പക്ഷെ അങ്ങാടിപ്പാട്ടാണ്.

All Syro Malabar Churches need to publish on the notice board the previous
week's collection amount, and how much was paid towards mortage, and
utility bills.
Any amount in excess of $99 that the parish spent during the previous week
must be published on the notice board.
Report should include any and all special collections taken during previous
week, and how much was forwarded to the intended recepient.
If this information is not published, put ZERO dollars when collection
basket comes around.
Put less money if the previous week's collected amount is more than 110% of
the church's operating expenses. If expenses listed adds up to $2K and
collection came up to be $3K, give half the amount as previous Sunday.
Don't destroy your parish and diocese by giving them too much money.
So,it means Saji achen was neither listening to Bishop of Chicago nor the bishop of Thamarasseril.

It is decided to buy a second church in Houston, TX. The priest has short listed 2 churches now. There will be a meeting held on may 30, to decide which church to buy.
Glad to know that the number of churches are growing. But, it would be nice to know what type of cross and viri will be used in this new church prior to buying or committing

oIt is very true one of the senior members of our community said that three real problem makers of this community are AV, Joy, and Shibu. They always work with Kavalam and Bishop. Shibutrapped saju to their group. I know Thoma and Reji was for crucifix and Shibu and AV influneced them to their group. Only thoma"s problem was Sajiachen.

We all know you played a very big role in firing of Fr. Saji and all the subsequent dramas about freezing and then opening new church account in your friend Mr. Thomas's name.
So please; if you really think/consider about the unity of church members, you as a kikaran will be a big liability/question mark on our church members unity process.
Please help in uniting our church members by voluntarily resigning your kikaran post, "without laity, no priest, no bishop and no church".

One Bishop will never tell anyone to disobey another Bishop.
But please read between the lines, this tells us also that Bishop has to obey his superiors also.
Major Arch Bishop has given instruction to Mar jacob Angadiath and all the Bishops in Syro Malabar Diceses, not to force Claver and sheela onto congregation which objects to manikyn/claver/thamara/thomas/powethil cross.
Who cares about Jose Mathew, or Mathew Jose, or Jose Jose, or Mathew Mathew, or whatever.
The important thing is, Pope is the one we should listen to and obey. If Pope's orders are ignored by bishop, then it is our resposiility to make the bishop understand he is wrong.
When you give money to priests, bishops, etc., you have the resposibility to make sure it is not spoiling them.
When you give money to your children, you wouldn't want them to use it for buying things like cigarets and alcohol. Without you knowing, if they spend that money on cigarets and booze, and they come back demanding that you continue to give them more money so they can continue their bad ways, you would put a stop to it by not giving them money, wouldn't you?

I seriously doublt that Pope will allow our bishop to replace crucifix with syro malabar emblem.
If you have any doubts, read the article on what Pope wants us to have on the altar. Don't just ignore it as just a bunch of reading. Read it and understand it. Then you will see where Pope stands in regards to crucifix.

I agree one thing with you. The bank account should be managed by Achan and a trustee. Not the priest alone. Thats the way things are handled in our church for years. Our achan doesnt even accept money. He always ask hand over money to the trustees. So I am not sure why you guys have a rule different from ours.
But I dont agree with others comments about the bishop or the priests. You guys are just abusing a group of people just because you can. I think there are other ways to express your disagreement. This is not right.
I am not a fan or Marthoma Kurishu. But I dont think this is the way you should express your disagreement. I dont see any benefit in doing this, other than creating more spilt in the community. You are causing more damage to the community than a marthoma kurishu can do.

First of all, I assume Roy and Georgekutty Jessy are someone in Coppell. I don't know who those persons are. Because, I am from Chicago.
Now, with all due respect, my friend, I would have to say, you are “misinformed”. Being charismatic does not mean you seize to think like an intelligent person any longer.
Actually implementing and enforcing “earthly rules” that is convenient to authorities, is one of the main problems with our "Sabha". They slowly but steadily inject into your brain, the idea that "you should never question the priests, bishops, and any other clergy, regardless of what the issue is. It is a sin. It is against the rules of God."
But if you stop and think about these "earthly rules" you will find out, those rules are set for a different purpose in mind. Primarily to cover up the wrong doings of the clergy.
To support my point, let's analyze the situation in Coppell now. After reading through all these arguments and counter arguments from millions of posts, there is only one root issue, that I can see, that is currently outstanding there. That is, the "claver cross and veil". It is as simple as that. Bishop is adamant and arrogant about putting those in every altar across every church in US. But people in Coppell were the first ones stood up against it. Bishop has yet to explain and clarify why those must be there. He has also failed to explain, what makes this cross superior to the crucifix. So when people started questioning this particular decision of his, those who questioned are, "abusing" him, if I could borrow your own words. The inability to explain certain things clearly does not make something “an un-questionable rule”. It will simply make you look stupid some times.
If you follow Jesus' own teachings, you will never see anywhere in the bible where HE says, "Just shut up and listen to me". HE always said to follow HIM based on HIS teachings and HIS life style. HE always taught HIS ideas through stories, examples and analogies. That was to make sure everyone understands HIS theories and philosophies. Why? Because, some people ARE smart. You can only lead a horse to the water, but to make it drink the water, it takes a little bit more (smartness) effort. Those who are smart and intelligent do not blindly follow anybody who says just anything.
Especially, when people feel betrayed. Why did I say that? Here is why.
Before buying any church anywhere in united states, our bishop never, ever, mentions that, after buying the church, the altar will be remodeled (at the earliest convenience) with the "claver cross and veil". He waits until the church is bought by the parishioners, to make his declarations. We call it a hidden agenda. If that is his intention, he must explain to the parishioners about his plan, ahead of time. Bishop would never do that. Why? He knows very well that there will not be any church if he does that.
So, in short, our bishop can solve all these problems across US especially in Coppell by simply sending out one simple "decree". One that says that, he will not impose "claver cross and veil" in any churches without the consent or support of its parishioners. Problem solved. It's as simple as that.
So, now, you tell me, is this "abusing" our bishop?

People are reacting this way because they are fed up with the corruption in Syro diocese. For example, collect money for one thing and not give it to the inteneded recepient, report false income, putting personal agenda over the good of the community, etc. We need to put an end to this bad behavior of diocese, and the few priests that support such behavior.
Our Christian faith is our foundation. From childhood, we were taught to be caring, considerate of, and love others. We were taught to obey the elders and people in higher offices because they are believed to know better.
However, when we see the elders act like children in Lord of the Flies, any one who believe in what their parents and teachers taught them will have difficulty staying mum. That is what you are seeing here.

തുടക്കത്തില്‍ 8 പേരുായിരുന്നത് ഇപ്പോള്‍ 201 പേരായി. ആദ്യം 100 രൂപയായിരുന്നു അംഗത്വഫീസ്. ഇപ്പോള്‍ 5000 രൂപ. വാര്‍ഷിക വരിസംഖ്യ 300 രൂപ. സര്‍വീസ് ചാര്‍ജായി 1000ത്തില്‍ കുറയാത്ത തുക ഓരോ അംഗവും ഒരു വര്‍ഷം നല്‍കണം. വാര്‍ഷികത്തിന് സംഭാവനകള്‍ പുറമെനിന്ന് സ്വീകരിക്കും. ഈ പണം ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ് എല്ലാം നടത്തുന്നത്. ഓഫീസായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നത് പോളിന്റെ ഫാത്തിമ നഗറിലെ വീടുതന്നെ. ദിവസവും രുപേരെങ്കിലും ഇവിടെ സഹായാപേക്ഷയുമായെത്തുന്നു.

അഭിനയത്തിലൂടെ കിട്ടിയ പ്രശസ്തിയും പണവുമൊക്കെ ഏഴരക്കൂട്ടത്തിനും മുതല്‍ക്കൂട്ടായി. വരുന്ന മാര്‍ച്ചില്‍ പോള്‍ വിരമിക്കുകയാണ്, ടൈപ്പിസ്റ്റ് തസ്തികയില്‍നിന്ന്. കയറിയതും ടൈപ്പിസ്റ്റായിട്ട്. ഏഴരക്കൂട്ടത്തെ മുന്നോട്ടു കൊുപോകാന്‍ ഉദ്യോഗക്കയറ്റം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു. എന്നും പള്ളിയില്‍ പോകുന്ന വിശ്വാസിയാണ് പോള്‍ കോനിക്കര. എങ്കിലും താന്‍ മരിച്ചാല്‍ മൃതദേഹം മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജില്‍ പഠനത്തിന് നല്‍കാനാണ് മോഹം. ഇതിനുള്ള സമ്മതപത്രം ഭാര്യ റോസിലിയില്‍ നിന്നും മക്കളില്‍നിന്നും ഒപ്പിട്ടുവാങ്ങിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു. മൃതദേഹം ഒരു മണിക്കൂറിലേറെ വെച്ച് ആദരാഞ്ജലിയര്‍പ്പിക്കരുതെന്നും നിര്‍ദേശമു്.

The letter from "Sabha visvaasekals" is really informative, hope those who could not understand the facts/those who were misguided by Saji achen and gundaas got the real facts now. Surprised to see the logo on attached letter from Thamarasserry bishop contains claver cross, how come Saji Achen is obeying that Bishop. My humble request to those who still support him, if you really love him "why can't you join Saji achen/go there and fight as you were doing here under his leadership against the cross (better say against the Bishop), like some families who followed Varghese Achen from Detroit", this will solve the lack of space in the church, also help to get rid off some more bad elements.

In USA there are plenty of association, fighting each other…Be different….Please don’t limit your activity to picnic or cultural activities only...do some charity as well…and you may consider the “EEZHYARAKOOTTAM” or “ NAVAJEEVAN “ in Kottayam etc..etc.. As working model...Please extent your helping hand to the most needy one any where in the world..Then this foundation will be in the hearts of people...If I am convinced (then only), I will definitely contribute reasonable amount every year.

Now as a frequent reader to this blog...who is this Fr. Saji (No disrespect to him)...Is he the re-incarnated version of God? It seems like he all these started with Fr. Saji. All i am trying to find out is what is this blog for? If you are batting for Fr. Saji...He is no more in here...therefore it is not beneficial to argue that he was the next big thing...If you wanted to expose Bishop Angadiath...Let us make things clear...Bishop Angadiath is a good for nothing fellow...useless would not be adequate to describe him...Some times i get the feeling is that this was initiated by some people from the mid/northern part...And the funny part is that they don't like anybody after Eranakulam South Jn....Just wanted to find out the objective of the blog

Claver cross is a logo of the Syro diocese. It is not meant for installation on an altar.
You can put claver cross on the vestements of priests, stitch it on the fabrics used on the altar, and you can even put it on the church steeple. However, it is not supposed to be on the altar. Crucifix is what is supposed to be installed on the altar.
The main issue is not Claver, Spade, Hearts, or Diamond. It is the fact that bishop fired Fr.Saji for installing crucifix on the altar at Coppell church.
Bishop reiterated even in his latest letter to Coppell parishoners that he is not against installing Crucifix on the altar. But he fired Fr. Saji for installing crucifix on the altar. Did our bishop lie to us again in writing?
The clergy profess forgiveness, but they keep throwing tar at Fr. Saji. Why? Why? Why?
St. Francis of Assisi said, "Preach the Gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words". Here in our syro diocese, clergy preach using words all the time, and whenever possible preach the words of devil through their actions. Is that what you were taught in seminary?

2. Mental torchering to him by Chicago team lead by Kaduppan & Karia (we know Bishop is somewhat helpless.)
